Review is for pharmacy. You can really tell that the pharmacy technicians don't care about you at all. You are nothing but a bother to them. The pharmacist is not really any better. Every time I have gone in there needing help they are less than helpful. It is the same if you called them on the phone. The last three times I have called them they don't even say hello. They just say "Walgreens Pharmacy" or "pharmacy". No customer service or "bedside manner" at all. Also they are not competent enough to check for refills or previous prescriptions. We have had to go to the doctor multiple times to get multiple prescriptions re prescribed because the technicians either "could not find" the refills or did not even check. I started keeping track of the refills and even brought the bottle, when one technician told me that there were no refills left. I showed her the bottle and told her she needed to check again. I would say she got an attitude, but really they already had an attitude just because we showed up. They magically found the prescription after she didn't see it the first two times she "checked". Plan to wait at least 30 minutes even if the store is not busy. Even though it is Walgreens policy to help waiting customers first and to get you out in under 15 minutes. Basically if my insurance was accepted anywhere other than this that was closer, I would not be using the store at all. My partner can't go to the store and deal with the people because he doesn't know what questions to ask. The only reason I know what to ask and how to deal with the pharmacy is because I've worked at a pharmacy as a rPhT before.

The pharmacy staff is ill mannered, nasty, incompetent and unprofessional. I will never refill my prescriptions here again. I refilled here for location convenience because I moved, but I will drive right back to westbury where the staff is friendly and answers my questions. I hope their district manager sees this because the way I was treated today was unacceptable!

Worst pharmacist ever! The pharmacy tech Thomas does not even know how to properly administer a vaccine and his preceptor couldn’t even be bothered to walk out from behind the counter to supervise him! He injected the vaccine too high up and now I can barely lift my arm! If I could rate him a zero I would! An IM injection is given 2-3 finger breaths below the acromion process and he gave it way to high!

Really nasty pharmacists. They are the only pharmacy who will NOT give you a refill until EXACTLY the day you run out. I called my insurance and they said stores should administer the refills 3-5 days before you run out. I had 2 pills left, my Dr. Called in my scripts on a Friday. I was going away for the weekend and they WOULD NOT FILL it. Told me to have my doctor cancel the script and rewrite it to a pharmacy near the town I was going to! I actually canceled a script and the Dr. Called it into CVS so at least i didn't have to go without my meds for two days. Every month I get my meds and every month is delayed due to "pharmacist reviewing prescription. Who are they to tell me I can't get them. That is not the law. They are really nasty. Never say hello and I hate going there. Unfortunately they are the only ones who have my script, so I'm forced to use them, but they are horrible. Plus it's always a 20 minute wait to get through to pharmacy. Do not go there of you don't have to.

Pharmacy is heartless. Would not fill a prescription for 3rd time she asked me for new prescription gave the manager the new prescription still would not fill cash pay prescription. 2 days my dog had no medication passed away 3 days later. There goes the “ friendly neighborhood pharmacy” they knew me i was in there every other week with my elderly parents prescription they don't care! Thank you walgreens west babylon.

Review is for the store, not pharmacy. Lady behind the counter is miserable and rude. Also, nasty customer on line behind me started an argument with me? I wasn't even talking to her. Bizarre interactions.

One star for the young man who works at pharmacy, he is always nice and very intellegent. He is fast and shows he cares for customers needs. Other than him I have to agree with other reviewers, Pharmacist are not what I would exspect from walgreens. They seem bothered do not explain changes in prescriptions as far as doseage or refills. Have to check with doctor. Was better when it was rite aid. It is close to my home so I have been a customer for years just very dissapointed with pharmacy and I see I am not alone.Pharmacy seems to have improved when they are open Have a nice short woman working there now who is very pleasent and the young man Thomas is always nice and helpful. Just want to warn anyone who uses otc card not all the things they have posted as otc are. Three times I had items declined, cashier just shrugged and said sometimes they are not aproved; They should do something to improve this situation. I go to cvs now.

Avoid this pharmacy. Beware you will be treated badly by one of the worst pharmisits I've ever met. She is as nasty as they come! Please use any other pharmacy or you will be treated like garbage.

I actually will give this pharmacy 000 stars. They are the worst especially the manager Yooli A. She is very unprofessional and have no way in speaking to the public. They are unreliable, and very unhelpful. I call in to find out if they had a prisciption in stock for my dog so i will know if i can drop off my priscription(they were out in the past) and they refuse to give any info. They told me it’s substance related, what the heck am i gonna do, take my dog medication??? how the heck will i even get the medication without them taking my prisciption first? All i needed to know was if it’s in stock! Totally disgusted with this pharmacy and their unprofessional workers!!!!!

If I could give a review of Zero I would. I pray for the next patient that comes in that there are changes made to pharmacy staff and their disgusting, careless and wreckless attitudes. I made my initial phone call at 9:10am on 12/18/22. I explained I needed my asthma medication desperately. The pharmacist gave me an attitude just picking up the phone and stated that her computers were not ready. So I went out to the store to wait for my steroids And as I stood there The pharmacist and the tech continued to have personal conversations and a total disregard for my well-being. The pharmacist then told me That a corticosteroid will not help my asthma which is a false statement. If she checked my chart she would’ve seen that I already take albuterol but clearly personal conversations are priority over accurate information And checking patient charts. Please beware. I will be following up with the corporate office on Monday.

Yes the reviews are true! The worst walgreens in NYC. I placed an order for instore pick up. My friend arrives the NEXT DAY to pick up the order and she was told there was no order there. She showed the so called Manager the screen shot of the confirmation and the email which stated my order was ready and the manager claims there was no order at the store. I then called the location and spoke to the same manager who told me that when you order online they ship to the store and that I will have to wait until the package arrived. I've ordered multiple times from walgreens and have never experienced anything like this. The so called manager insisted I made a mistake and for me to contact customer care for a refund. The next day the same so called manager calls me and states that she found the order but it was under a different name. When I told her multiple times that the order was under xx but xx was the pick up person. So unprofessional and I will never order or shop at this location again!!! Fire the whole staff at this location ! Ps.... Big thank you to the customer care rep I spoke to who gladly refunded me and gave me a credit towards a future purchase.!

The pharmacy staff here are very ill mannered. This pharmacy is closer to my house and and I came here for years when it was Rite Aide. Ever since they switched to Walgreens I had unpleasant experiences with the pharmacy and staff on several occasions. They do not try and help AT ALL, the pharmacist here lack customer service.

Worst pharmacy EVER!!! I go to my doctor every 2 months.. Every single time I have to ask for refill scripts, I questioned the pharmacy about this, they said, because I still had some left on my current script, the new script went on "hold' But the new script NEVER comes of hold!!!! I'm constantly asking for refills from my doctor.. Wish I could give zero stars!!!

Thankful for the professional and helpful staff and Pharmacyst , they stayed in they lunch time to help and finish up my prescription, , always it is a pleasant atmosphere, trustworthy staff. When a person’s sick that extra mile matters so much. They professionalism is exemplary.

Agree with all the bad reviews. Worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. Most of the pharmacists are miserable.
