During
our
trip
to
Ankara
for
the
METU
Graduates
Day,
a
family
friend
recommended
Antre
Gurme
in
Isparta
as
a
must-visit
restaurant.
Intrigued
by
the
suggestion,
my
wife
and
I
decided
to
take
the
longer
route
through
Isparta
to
dine
at
this
establishment.
However,
our
experience
at
Antre
Gurme
turned
out
to
be
a
major
disappointment.
Firstly,
the
restaurant's
name,
"Antre
Gurme,"
is
quite
misleading.
We
expected
a
gourmet
dining
experience,
but
upon
arriving
at
a
shopping
mall,
it
became
evident
that
this
was
a
meat
restaurant
rather
than
a
gourmet
establishment.
The
first
impression,
as
we
were
welcomed
by
a
smiling
owner
at
the
door,
seemed
a
bit
suspicious
and
didn't
align
with
our
expectations.
Once
seated,
our
waiter
appeared
to
be
a
hefty-looking
individual,
which
was
unexpected.
We
couldn't
help
but
wonder
why
he
was
serving
tables
in
the
scorching
afternoon
heat
of
38
degrees
Celsius.
His
presence
further
raised
doubts
about
the
overall
professionalism
and
quality
of
the
establishment.
To
start
our
meal,
I
requested
an
empty
plate
to
share
our
veal
chops
with
my
wife.
However,
it
took
an
unreasonable
amount
of
time
for
the
waiter
to
bring
it
to
our
table.
This
delay
resulted
in
our
food
getting
cold,
which
is
something
I
despise
when
dining
out.
The
lack
of
attention
to
detail
and
the
overall
subpar
service
at
Antre
Gurme
left
us
unimpressed.
We
were
expecting
a
delightful
culinary
experience,
but
it
felt
like
a
letdown.
Unfortunately,
this
visit
tarnished
our
friend's
judgment
and
the
restaurant
failed
to
live
up
to
its
supposed
reputation.
In
conclusion,
Antre
Gurme
in
Isparta
did
not
meet
our
expectations.
The
misleading
name,
underwhelming
service,
and
unsatisfactory
food
made
it
a
regrettable
choice.
I
would
not
recommend
this
restaurant
to
anyone
seeking
a
truly
gourmet
dining
experience
or
exceptional
service.
