The last 2km uphill are at times steep and rocks on the path get more dense so the last part is a bit more tricky. I was taking a child so it took us 2h to get to the top. From camping to the final point the views are stunning. There are snakes-(i have no idea for this area if they are poisonous) but BEWARE! On the top there are couple of gazebo-like platforms which are great to sit and have a break or snack. But a lot of people using it and leaving trash behind :( Great hike all in all.

Great view, but lots of garbage here and there. I don't know why people are lazy to take their trash to nearest bins (it isn't close, but not impossible). Also water in tank is drinkable, we're consumed couple of liters per person and haven't any issues.

One of the best places of Beydağları National Park. Addasan to Lighthouse Trekking route is best of Lycian way. I hope you find enough time for this route. All the best

Very picturesque place. You can reach it by Lykian way from Karaoz village (easy trail about 7 km) or from Adrasan beach. The last one is more tough but also is more interesting. You have to walk about 15 km from Adrasan to lighthouse, but trail passes near the Mediterranean sea and it's very beautiful. You can't get inside lighthouse, but there is a place to eat and rest nearby and some useful historical information about this lighthouse.

Nice trial with a cool view although the lighthouse is nothing special.

Wonderful place. We got lucky, by the time we reached the light house nobody were there. Great view. Uplifting.

Amazing. Walking trip in one way takes more than hour. Use comfortable shoes and a lot of water (not less than 2 liters per person). Views are spectacular! When you reach lighthouse, go little up the hill and take a picture of the lighthouse with sea as a background. Enjoy!

Symbol of the Lycian Way - sadly people have left their rubbish everywhere. Quite obvious where everyone uses the toilet as they leave their tissue where they squat. Presumably these people are walking the Lycian and are ‘nature lovers’. Shame. There is a bin but the municipality don’t seem to have emptied it. Great views out to sea- just don’t look around you!

it is not the first time that we climb up on the hill to take a breath of a fresh air and enjoy beautiful scenery if you are not fit it is not recommended to go up there especially the last 200,meters are the hardest and will take a toll also take plenty of food and drinks as there is nothing on the top ... have found a group of art masters that got up there to do some drawings of the lighthouse which was a great entertainment on its own

A beautiful viewpoint after a delightful woodland walk. A bit of a climb but worth it. Recommend boots or trainers as the ground can be quite loose and stony on the way. There is parking on the rough road before the climb.

This is a good place for hiking and spend time on nature. There are a lot of flowers and pines. The nature at Gelidonya Lighthouse is amazing!

Fantastic host in the great town of karaoz. If you want a good meal and good care come to this place. Really great value for money. The host is kind and food was delicious. He helped us to send our bags to the next destination and the Lycian way goes right next to the place

That’s a marvelous place, piecefull and quite. Amazing nature. The way is not easy, but it is worth it. Take enough water with you, and be aware of mosquitoes

The area is very beautiful. From here to Karaöz is a very light hike (here to Adrasan is much more difficult). There is not much to do at the lighthouse, but it is a beautiful area! Definitely recommend checking it out.

Gelidonya Lighthouse is right next to the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. We hiked the Lycian Way to the lighthouse from Adrasan. The lighthouse is your average lighthouse, but the view around it beautiful. A great place to stop and have a snack and some water!

Nice view, no toilet, no water; rain water just in case.

👍👍 Gorgeous koy. Cave-like rocks and nature are amazing. Water is very clear. There weren’t too many people. Adolescent ones practice jumping from higher rocks. Its also appropriate for children. One of the nicest beaches in this area. I would definitely come again!
