Beautiful higher end hotel with a super comfortable bed and lots of amenities. The pools were great. Only thing missing there is a hot tub. The staff were lovely and very friendly and accommodating. Food was good too.

My family and I stayed at Hotel Molitor for four nights total. First we booked it for 3 nights. We liked our room which was in front of big pool and big enough to move around. After we decided to stay for one more night- as a fourth night, they changed our room to smaller room which we did not like it at all. It was not professional and kind of them. My family and I have been traveling all around the word and we did not have such an experiences with changing room. We gave four stars to hotel because we like some of their staff in Guest Experience. Antonie was so kind, responsible and professional. He loves his job and we liked his manner. Marian also was available and kine to all of us. The location was great for us. We took uber. The pools are great and the hotel itself is beautiful and clean.

For a hotel that has so much potential and is so beautiful, I am deeply disappointed with the customer service. The woman who is a manager at the reception desk was incredibly rude to both me and my wife throughout our stay. From turning her down when asking for water, to CHARGING for water. At the end of our stay she sarcastically said “have a nice flight” wishing us bad travels. (I am shocked this woman has a job in customer service) We stayed here for our one year anniversary and were told via Instagram the hotel was going to reserve and treat us to t-shirts for us to have matching shirts to remember our stay with them for our one year. To our surprise - The reception manager said they were charging them to us and that she would not take them off. Charging without permission is Fraud. If you’re looking for a nice pool, with a great rooftop restaurant with horrible customer service this is the hotel for you. If you want to be treated with dignity then I suggest you stay somewhere else.

I thought it was a hotel with a lot of very arrogant staff, and the whole team was unprofessional. The reception staff didn't seem to care about customer satisfaction at all. At check-in, there were no information about the hotel. When I went to the gym reception after the spa, I felt humiliated by the nasty receptionist who somehow decided I wasn't a hotel guest. She said that it costs XXX€ a day to use the gym and that I need to make a reservation. When I told her that I was staying at the hotel, she looked suspicious and asked me for my name and room number, but I didn't use the gym at the time so I think she had no right to ask about that. The food was also a low standard as others have commented. I ordered room service for dinner. About Caesar salad it was old, badly colored and had a large stem inside (see photo). And about child meal, I ordered green beans as a garnish but it was pasta by mistake. The room I stayed in had a large terrace, but the plants on the terrace were half dead. I had breakfast in the restaurant and it wasn't tasty. In addition, the staff showed us to the wrong table, and another staff came later and said, "This table is taken by someone else. Move to this table!" She ordered us in a very rude manner. At this point my patience had reached its limit and I decided to leave this hotel. The customer relations staff who dealt with my complaint was businesslike, she fulfilled my request to cancel the other nights, but I didn't feel any passion from her. I love Paris and come often, but this is the first time I've been to such a terrible hotel. Only the pool was ok but I'll never come there. Very disappointed. 1 star. (There was one kind staff there. Many thanks only to her)

Very comfortable rooms, clean, friendly staff. Their fast checkout is great. Fitness center is good, one 33m indoor pool and the 50m pool has a 33m platform but two lanes are open on 50m (winter, don't know if year round). Spa, sauna are good.

Decidedly mediocre for the upscale place it is supposed to be. Slow service, uninviting and uninteresting food. I can't say anything about the rooms, since I didn't stay the night, but all in all at least what their food is concerned, you can get better for half the price in most of Paris. Not that interesting all in all. Do mind that I neither went there for the pool, nor the hotel side of things.

We stayed one night. The room was great. With its hublot shaped window and view on the pool, it had an great vibe, at night especially. We had diner on the rooftop, food and experience was just ok, I don't recommend it, there is 1 million better places to dine in Paris. We booked a private spa session with massage, that was just perfect, I highly recommend The major issue overall is the service. Extremely slow and completely disorganized. Most staff are very nice, some have a very bad, entitled attitude. Room wasn't ready at the 4pm check-in. We were told to wait 10 min and when I followed up the staff member seemed very annoyed that I didn't just quietly wait. We ended up waiting 45min... The room service and the check-out were equally unpleasant. Some other stuff happens, all together I can honestly say they have one of the worst service I have ever seen, which makes the entire experience not worth a dime, unfortunately.

I really do like the style of this hotel. The service is outstanding! Originally it is was built as Piscine Molitor in 1929 and inaugurated by Olympic swimmers Aileen Riggin, Matthew Gauntlett and Johnny Weissmuller. The pool is known for its Art Deco designs and the world premiere of the bikini by Louis Réard on 5th July 1946.

Service is excellent and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Amazing breakfast, by itself worth the stay. Fabulous bed and pillows, extremely comfortable. A few short sides that could be improved, considering that it’s 5 stars: - the swimming pool is large and nice but the water is a bit too cold and there is too little control over children. A few water bubbles/jets in the inside one could make it more pleasant also for those who are there to relax, rather than swim along the lanes. - the spa: the sauna is very small and not relaxing as you can hear all people talking in the vestiaire; the hammam doesn’t close well and gets cold; - the rooftop restaurant is not matching the hotel standards (service, food arriving cold, too expensive for what you get, no real view as it is not very high) - the regulation of the air conditioning was not working properly in the room

We came to the Molitor hôtel a few times but this time me and my family have been highly disappointed. The service is VERY slow, food not great, doesn’t deserve 5 stars at all! The staff is nice but completely disorganised! We stayed for 4 nights, when we arrived the room was ready and the receptionist was really nice. Later on we went to the Lacoste shop to buy some clothes, the staff was extremely unhelpful, after waiting 10 min alone in the boutique I ask for some help and explained that I wanted to purchase some t shirt in XL for my parter i then been told that the brand doesn’t do XL sizes which isn’t true as I purchased sizes XL in London before, I could tell that no one was bothering about serving us so we just gave up and left the shop. I had a similar experience on the following day when I wanted to purchase some sun cream that was on display for my son the staff member could not scan the product on the till so I ve been asked to go to the SPA that was on a different level to pay; I thought that that was unexpected for a 5 stars hotel. Not only that but when trying the roof top restaurants the burger of my son came without beef inside, the waitress that was really nice apologies and ask for another burger that came 15 min later without beef burger inside again! The waitress then went to the kitchen herself and bring the food to my son. In addition my burger was not nice and the veg not fresh. I originally booked another table for the weekend to come with my parents but End up to cancel it following this experience. Another day we have been waiting 45 min for our coffee … We travel a lot and never complain but this time we really had to share our experience as this hotel doesn’t deserve 5 stars at all! In paris you can find some 4 stars hotel with a much better service!!

This hotel is heaven on earth. Every time I come here I am transported into another world. The staff are fantastic. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The style is a perfect mix of modern and retro. The rooms are on point - and upgrades kindly given, where possible. The restaurant serves tasty food in a relaxed bistro and the set menu is good value. However, all of these things could be absolutely terrible and I would still give this place 5 stars purely for the swimming pools and leisure facilities which are unrivalled. Nowhere else can boast pools like the Molitor. It has to be 100 lengths a day per visit, for me, or why come? Overall the rooms are not cheap and Accor knows this is a gem that people will pay for…so money-wise it is what it is…I’ll still keep coming back to this magical place 😎if you’re not into swimming I can see why you might question the value for money…

Wonderful hotel with a great history displayed in artwork around the indoor pool and corridors. Location suited us as it was quiet and away from the crowds but only a few minutes from the Metro station. Breakfast was a little bit hit and miss, very good buffet but our hot drinks got forgotten a couple of times. Found by luck as we wanted a pool but a real quality find. Other reviews talk about poor customer service but we found all the staff to be polite and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were always helpful and nice. The rooms were clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the layout of the toilet closet being separate from the bathroom. The breakfast was always well-stocked, fresh and delicious. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest metro, but we mostly took an Uber to wherever we were going anyway. It's a bit away from any of the tourist sites which is nice in a way since you can experience a more local experience but it can become expensive to Uber or time-consuming to take the metro from the hotel's location. It's located pretty close to a supermarket, which is nice for snacks and water, and was only about a block or two away.

I am in my second trimester of pregnancy 🤰 ☺️ and my husband and I decided to spend our holidays in this place for me to be calmed and relax. As we enter the room we were surprised to see a beautiful handwritten note and balloons from the staff congratulating us… it really warmed my heart. During breakfast time, they kindly ask you for your coffee and eggs preference and they bring it directly to your table (no line required). Not to mention that they well cooked my eggs without me even requesting it, which I thought was VERY thoughtful of them 🤰🍳. My husband loves to swim, so he got full advantage of the outdoor/indoor pools. One day, he left his swimming goggles by accident inside his bathrobe and it was sent to the laundry. We called the staff to try to find the goggles but unfortunately they couldn’t find them. They were kind enough to lend him goggles for our 2 remaining days… and when we did the checkout the lady responsible for client services came to offer us a free pair of swimming goggles and a lovely Molitor bag. 🤩 She also said sweet words to me and wished me well with my pregnancy. Thank you to all the staff for the love and for smiling back at me. 🩷

We had an amazing weekend stay at Molitor with my family and friends to celebrate my child’s birthday in Paris. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms are very comfortable and the chic ambiance of the hotel were beyond our expectations. We used the pool and wellness facilities with our children, and the foosball table was a delight. We even visited an art exhibition right in the hotel which was very cool. It must be mentioned that one of the main reasons we all had a memorable stay at Molitor was our magnificent concierge Evita! Evita was wonderful to check in regularly on our group, explaining interesting details about the hotel’s history, and ensured we had the best stay and visit to Paris possible. We thank her and the whole team greatly!!

If you come to play/watch tennis, then this hotel is great but otherwise it's not a 5 star hotel. Rooms are pretty standard and the rooftop restaurant is average. Also, there are some odd details, like a huge puddle of stale water that you need to walk through in order to get to the pool area or the pool bar closing at 6pm when the pool is open until 9pm.

I wanted to love this hotel, but the service was not like our 5 star hotel in London, and I could not call this a five-star hotel. I am also really irritated that we were told there was breakfast here, but that we had to pay for it, which had us grabbing breakfast elsewhere. After our stay, I looked back at our booking and we were supposed to have breakfast included, which we theoretically paid 35€/person each day, coming to a total of 280€ paid and not even utilized! The pool is nice and the front desk people were okay. The hotel itself was nice, and the room was above average. This was part of a package deal, and I believe we paid good money to stay here (~600€/day), but it felt like maybe $200 per night if it was back in the USA.

I have been dreaming of getting a ´plouf' into that pool for a long time! Dreams do come true 😍 Top notch service from check-in to -out, a super friendly team to make sure everything went smooth. I still had a coupon for a stay that got cancelled due to a lockdown, and the staff was so kind not to look at the expiry date 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

I would like to give 5 for hospitality and helpful staff. They are welcoming , helpful for any needed reservation and they are opened for any complaint or suggestion.. and this the most i liked in this hotel. There were some small issues and already a coordination done with the manager. Incharge and he was very polite and seeking for our satisfication ..

We arrived by car, from the valet service to check in, from the spotless cleanliness to guest friendliness everything was fantastic and everyone was very very polite and kind. Hotel is on a great spot, close to main sport attractions, subway and only 10 minutes from the city center by taxi. It is an amazing place to be, the pools, the street art and the amenities are fabulous. Loved it with whole of our family and we will be back. Thanks Molitor team!

Upon arrival, I immediately became ill. I informed the staff and they offered a different room after the first night. We tried to remain the evening, but the overwhelming cigarette smoke in the lobby made my condition worse. Once we physically left the premises, I felt immediately better. Once returning, again I suffered headache and extreme nausea, causing near-constant vomiting. The hotel is very lively and we were unable to go to sleep due to noise until 3am. I corresponded regularly with the hotel staff & requested a refund, as we would not be able to remain the week. We had to leave for health & safety reasons. I’ve recently been diagnosed with cancer and literally cannot be in a hotel that worsens my physical condition & does not have effective quiet hours. Two different doctors insisted I leave. The hotel refused to accommodate our reasonable requests. We had to spend over $3k in replacement hotel fees, alone. On a cleanliness note: our bedspread had blood stains, as did the curtains. We saw spiders in the shower and suspect, after Dr.inspection, that’s what bit my child in bed, causing an allergic reaction. After traveling a far distance, no one wants to have an aweful experience like this. While the online photos seem clean, fun, and inviting, DO NOT RISK IT! We found the staff to be incredibly rude, impossibly unreasonable, and in our specific circumstance, particularly heartless. I am literally dying. This will likely be our final trip to Paris. To have several days stolen from our vacation was the worst. If you want to spent money on a party-scene, are comfortable surrounded by cigarette smoke & don’t mind filthy quarters, then enjoy this hotel. Otherwise, I highly advise skipping this place.

Slow service of the reception, room was not ready after 3pm, elevators in the hotel are confusing (it’s a labyrinth) and 4/5 staff spoke no english. The best feature is the pool, not sufficient to come back!

    - 15 m long check-in line upon arrival. The front office – uninterested, uncaring, apathetic, terribly slow. It doesn't matter whether you are Accor's ALL Gold, Platinum or whatever member – you stand in the same line for 25 minutes with anyone from the hundreds of clerks not even offering you a sip of water – "Welcome to Paris by Molitor, guys!" - One day I made a phone call to order a taxi and was asked: "Don't you have Uber app or something?" I mean, wow. - One of the rooms was not ready at 16:00 which is an advertised check-in time. Again – the front office didn't even bother to make a call and tell that in advance. They passed the room key at 18:00 (not their initiative it was) while the cleaning had not been finished yet. - Incredibly dirty in-room WC. The door was never whipped since we've been to Molitor in 2019. The bottom of the toilet was all covered in excrements and had not been cleaned at least for a year now. - The minibar fridge was stolen from a motel – only 2 bottles of water. No champagne, no Coke, no snacks. You get brandless coffee capsules though. - Rubbishy smell throughout the hallways of the 2. étage. - Cheap card-key system with cards daily becoming suddenly deactivated and you have to go down every time to ask "tired of you" receptionists for a new one. - Rooftop's restaurant kitchen is a joke. No service. Meals were served raw – a master class trip to learn how to cook lobsters is badly needed. The only decent meal was the burger. - They do not serve cocktails at Brasserie anymore, only rooftop. The quality and the atmosphere of the rooftop bar are disastrous. And forget about sitting – all rise. + The pools are clean and the atmosphere is still there. After several stays in the past – see you never, Molitor Paris.

The hotel has an interesting history but the rooms are pokey and the layout of the hotel makes it confusing to move from pool, to room, to restaurant etc. The pool is really nice, but not a lot of fun for families - even when we were the only ones there we were told to not throw a ball around - despite no signs forbidding it - you cant get a drink by the pool and it can get pretty congested. I think its a general Italy pool culture thing - pools are for adults to sunbathe around, not for families to swim and enjoy. No wonder this pretty much the only hotel pool in Paris. The food at the rooftop was excellent and the staff very helpful, particularly the concierge. Unless you are going to Roland Garros, the location is 30 mins from pretty much everywhere.

Beautiful surroundings but, unfortunately, the service did not measure up - it was slow and impersonal. We were visiting the terrace for food and drinks. I would perhaps consider staying as a guest in future in the hope that the service would be better for hotel residents.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars were it not in this lousy location (south of Paris). In our case we didn’t intend to move much from the hotel so it was perfect. Weather was beautiful so we enjoyed the fabulous Olympic pool.

A decent hotel in Paris. However, if it’s your first visit to the City of Lights, I would not recommend it for the following reasons: 1) Far from the historical centre. 2) Few notable sites to visit in the vicinity. 3) Rather small communal areas. Having said this, the Molitor is mostly known for its large indoor and outdoor pools which are excellent. They have a long history, most notably the place where the « bikini » was born. We stayed here as a « staycation » and enjoyed the escape from a hot summer’s day in Paris! Located next to Roland Garros, the hotel is rather popular during the tournament. The overall style of the hotel has a sports theme but seemed a bit repetitive. The standard room is simply, but tastefully, decorated. Service is good but nothing exceptional, perhaps a bit subpar compared to other excellent hotels of the MGallery brand. The rooftop restaurant, on the other hand, is rather mediocre, despite being popular with Parisians and tourists alike for its view of the city. All in all, better hotels can be found for similar prices in Paris but it can be worth staying in if you have already visited the city several times before.

Not only is this building a historical monument, it’s also a modern-day pool, spa, hotel, bar, rooftop space, art gallery, and restaurant rolled into one. Today it’s a symbol of luxury, but it wasn’t always this way. In the 1960s, the Molitor housed Paris’ two most popular swimming pools and was the place Parisians came to swim, sunbathe, play sports, or just socialize. When it closed in 1989, the artistically-minded who frequented the Molitor took it upon themselves to occupy the abandoned building. They turned it into their hub for creativity and expression. During the 90s, the building was covered with colorful graffiti, sparking the beginning of street art in Paris. Parties, events, fashion shows, and concerts were held here during this time. Fast forward to present day and the city has revamped the Molitor into its present-day state. However, the building’s history has not been erased - the city’s first street art graffiti has been preserved on the hotel’s lobby walls and corridors. The restaurant and spa are open to the public and the Molitor is known to host cultural and sporting events. This building holds many of Paris’ decade-old secrets for those who want to dig beneath the surface.

I enjoyed interacting with the hotel team; they met my expectations for a 5-star hotel. My stay went very well. I was hoping for a larger room, and maybe better food to really match a 5-star establishment. I will very probably come back.
