We
are
frequent
visitors
to
Paris
and
I
first
became
acquainted
with
Hotel
Castille
Paris
in
early
2020,
prior
to
the
pandemic,
when
I
reserved
rooms
for
a
co-worker
who
intended
to
attend
the
French
Open
in
May
2020.
I
checked
out
the
property
during
a
February
2020
visit
to
Paris,
during
which
we
were
staying
in
a
different
hotel.
We
were
impressed
by
what
we
saw:
the
lovely
lobby,
the
cool
bar,
the
interior
atrium,
and
the
ideal
location
on
rue
Cambon
next-door
to
the
House
of
Chanel.
The
several
rooms
that
we
were
shown
corresponding
to
my
colleague's
planned
visit
were
smartly
decorated
and
quiet.
They
were
also
on
the
small
side
which
is
typical
of
Parisian
hotels.
Fast
forward
to
2022:
my
colleagues
cancelled
their
2020
trip
to
the
French
Open
due
to
the
Pandemic,
so
I
never
received
any
first-hand
information
about
their
stay
at
the
Hotel
Castille
Paris.
I
decided
to
plan
a
trip
to
Paris
for
a
party
of
six
for
July
2022
and
I
immediately
considered
the
Hotel
Castille
Paris
based
on
its
excellent
location
and
what
I
had
seen
of
it
in
person
back
in
February
2020.
After
reserving
three
rooms
for
six
nights
each
--
a
total
of
18
room/nights
--
I
began
to
have
a
bit
of
buyer's
regret
since
I
read
the
Google
reviews
after
making
the
reservations.
I
called
the
hotel
and
spoke
to
Fabio
at
the
front
desk
and
to
Roberto
in
the
back
office;
and
I
frankly
discussed
my
unease
about
the
poor
reviews
scattered
among
the
largely
positive
Google
reviews.
Both
men
spoke
to
me
in
a
manner
which
assuaged
my
concerns.
We
finally
arrived
at
the
hotel
property
on
July
5th
and
checked
out
on
July
11th.
My
junior
suite
was
spacious
and
well
appointed.
There
was
lots
of
closet
space
to
fully
unpack
our
baggage.
The
bed
linens
were
clean
and
the
mattress
was
very
comfortable.
The
air
conditioning
worked
very
well
keeping
the
room
comfortably
cool;
and
the
bathroom
was
clean
and
well
supplied
with
towels
and
other
amenities.
There
were
no
drainage
problems
in
the
sink
nor
in
the
shower.
We
had
turndown
service
with
a
smile
every
evening
and
the
minibar
offerings
(non-alcoholic)
were
free
and
replenished
daily.
Our
friends,
the
two
couples
occupying
the
two
other
(smaller)
Superior
Rooms,
had
nothing
but
positive
things
to
say
about
their
accommodations,
too.
The
front
desk
staff
were
friendly
and
helpful,
as
were
the
bellmen
and
the
voiturier.
I
really
have
to
say
that
our
stay
in
Paris
one
month
ago
was
idyllic;
and
the
Hotel
Castille
Paris
contributed
greatly
to
our
enjoyment
of
the
city
of
lights.
I
cannot
speak
as
to
what
really
happened
with
the
guests
who
left
negative
reviews,
but
I
can
honestly
say
that
our
party
of
six
had
a
wonderful
time
while
we
were
guests
at
Hotel
Castille
Paris.
We
will
definitely
stay
in
the
property,
again,
when
we
are
back
in
Paris.
I
wholeheartedly
recommend
the
Hotel
Castille
Paris.
