Nice place in a great location, nice staff and nice cosy bar. Let down by the fact our room was in desperate need of a refurbishment but no discount! The beds are very comfy, the room was spacious enough but windows that did not open or shut properly, bathrooms that need re-tiling and re-sealing, small showers and toilet cisterns that make a weird noise every few minutes!

Please be careful of this hotel as they will fraudulently charge your credit card. I booked them on Hotels.com as a refundable pay at the hotel booking and they immediately charged my credit card and refused to refund. After numerous complaints, they refunded partially and then ignored all my subsequent messages. They belong to Starshotel group from Italy and have been reviews for this hotel group. Plenty of other choices and don’t take a risk with this hotel as they are definitely not 5 star rating.

One of the best hotels, I’ve been to. Glamorous location, central to wonderful restaurants, and fashion stores. The outdoor seating area, where breakfast is served, is stunning. The team were warm and welcoming, very responsive and respectful. I found the hotel to be clean, and has a lovely ambiance. I recommend Castile Paris, and I’ll stay here when I visit Paris next time.

We loved staying at this hotel but unfortunately had a bad experience after money was stolen from our room. We had noticed a night prior to the incident, our key that was put in the room to keep the power on was missing. We didn't think much of it and requested another key. The next day we left our room and came back after lunch and we noticed our cash was missing from a piece of luggage. It was a mistake to not have the cash in the safe, however, when we brought this to the attention of management, we were gaslit into believing it was our fault. We requested to see who had accessed our room, and saw that someone using our key ( the key that was taken from the room the night prior) had been used to access our room when we were NOT at the hotel. We told management this and they insisted we were lying, it wasn't until I showed them timestamped photos and uber logs that they saw we were not at the hotel during the time someone entered our room. After 3 days of going back and forth with management, and getting the police involved, the hotel offered to compensate us for the money missing. We never received this compensation to date, and will not be staying here again. Things happen, but the way that the management insisted we were lying and acted as if it was impossible for money to go missing was honestly ridiculous. The hotel itself is quaint and beautiful, but their accountability for their staff is lacking.

We are frequent visitors to Paris and I first became acquainted with Hotel Castille Paris in early 2020, prior to the pandemic, when I reserved rooms for a co-worker who intended to attend the French Open in May 2020. I checked out the property during a February 2020 visit to Paris, during which we were staying in a different hotel. We were impressed by what we saw: the lovely lobby, the cool bar, the interior atrium, and the ideal location on rue Cambon next-door to the House of Chanel. The several rooms that we were shown corresponding to my colleague's planned visit were smartly decorated and quiet. They were also on the small side which is typical of Parisian hotels. Fast forward to 2022: my colleagues cancelled their 2020 trip to the French Open due to the Pandemic, so I never received any first-hand information about their stay at the Hotel Castille Paris. I decided to plan a trip to Paris for a party of six for July 2022 and I immediately considered the Hotel Castille Paris based on its excellent location and what I had seen of it in person back in February 2020. After reserving three rooms for six nights each -- a total of 18 room/nights -- I began to have a bit of buyer's regret since I read the Google reviews after making the reservations. I called the hotel and spoke to Fabio at the front desk and to Roberto in the back office; and I frankly discussed my unease about the poor reviews scattered among the largely positive Google reviews. Both men spoke to me in a manner which assuaged my concerns. We finally arrived at the hotel property on July 5th and checked out on July 11th. My junior suite was spacious and well appointed. There was lots of closet space to fully unpack our baggage. The bed linens were clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well keeping the room comfortably cool; and the bathroom was clean and well supplied with towels and other amenities. There were no drainage problems in the sink nor in the shower. We had turndown service with a smile every evening and the minibar offerings (non-alcoholic) were free and replenished daily. Our friends, the two couples occupying the two other (smaller) Superior Rooms, had nothing but positive things to say about their accommodations, too. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, as were the bellmen and the voiturier. I really have to say that our stay in Paris one month ago was idyllic; and the Hotel Castille Paris contributed greatly to our enjoyment of the city of lights. I cannot speak as to what really happened with the guests who left negative reviews, but I can honestly say that our party of six had a wonderful time while we were guests at Hotel Castille Paris. We will definitely stay in the property, again, when we are back in Paris. I wholeheartedly recommend the Hotel Castille Paris.

I had a horrible experience here. So many things went wrong. The manager and I had an initial conversation and she promised to look into it and get back to me, but she never did. First, my room was not ready at 3 pm as promised. I was put into a lower quality room and my rate was not adjusted for the downgrade. My room rate came with a complimentary upgrade dependent upon availability. I asked for the upgrade and was told that larger rooms were available, but I was not given the upgraded room. When I entered my room (small and dark), it had not been cleaned appropriately. I notified the front desk, but instead of cleaning the room or moving me, they brought me a tray of drinks and candies. Why this was meant to be compensation for a dirty room, I do not understand. I asked for an iron at 4 pm so I could iron my clothes for an event that night, but the iron was not delivered. When I came back from my event that night, exhausted and jet lagged, my electronic room key didn’t work and the front desk couldn’t get it to work either. They let me in with the passkey and told me to let the front desk know in the morning. After breakfast the next morning I spoke to the on-site manager who said she would relay my concerns to the hotel’s general manager. The general manager called me after a few days of my checkout (so clearly not a priority for her), I relayed my experiences, she said my experience was not really that horrible, but she would investigate and get back to me the next day or latest in 2 days. Over a week later, she has not responded. I would advise not to stay here as they clearly do not care about good service or guest comfort.

One of the standout features of this hotel is the friendly and helpful staff. The team at the Hotel Castille Paris went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable during my stay. They were always available to answer my questions and provide recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Another highlight of this hotel is the delicious breakfast. The breakfast buffet was full of tasty options, and the quality of the food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the fresh croissants and coffee. The rooms at the Hotel Castille Paris were also very good. They were clean, spacious, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and clean. Finally, the location of the hotel is truly unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Paris, the Hotel Castille Paris is within walking distance of many of the city's most popular attractions, including the Louvre Museum and the Champs-Elysées. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hotel Castille Paris to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and conveniently located hotel in Paris. Thank you to the staff at the Hotel Castille Paris for a wonderful stay!

Castillete Paris . Best , best hotel. We booked our anniversary trip through American Experience, what I called my “babysitter “ helper . Amex gives a lot of pluses to travel, but now not about Amex . Five star hotel in central Paris . Walking distance to Musee de Louvre, Champs Elysees , Opera house , close to exclusive boutiques . We can’t wish better location. Room was spacious, elegant decor with warm luxury fabric makes you feel at your new Parisian home . We planned our trip in advance but last minute reception staff / concierge service offered local knowledge with personal touch to help us to make most of our stay . We came on First of May not knowing this is a Holiday day . All our reservations did not work. Opera house website forgot to marked this day as a holiday . Back to the positive sides of our trip. Dining at this hotel one of the very best in the city . Elegant dining room with Italian cuisine put together by Michelin starred chef . Wonderful breakfast at the same eating room to start our day with French cuisine. Breakfast was really phenomenal every day of our stay .The range of options and quality of food speaks for French deliciousness! I can’t say thank you enough to the entire staff of this hotel. Thank you a million times . One confession I have to make at the end of this story and our pleasant stay : I took the cup from our room as a souvenir , not to mention about it at the time of check out . It was very early to my defense. I did not feel like a robbery but next day my husband received email: “ we understand you enjoy our cup a lot and for this reason we ll charge you $ 10 “ My husband was furious about my unappropriate behavior … I’m happy hotel charged me , so I ll not feel so bad after all . Every morning I enjoy this cup at home with my best memories about our Paris trip . To be honest with you ,I’m glad I took it -this full of greatest memories gift from a charming romantic city . My recommendation to a hotel: please give us an opportunity to buy from you something as ,your guests ,to have this incredible memories .

On the first day, someone went inside a closed backpack belonging to my 10 year son and took a family-sized, unopened large bag of pretzels. Then next day, someone stole a Christian Dior box about the size of two school backpacks from my room. They claimed they thought the Dior box was empty trash. The Dior box was very heavy because it was filled to the brim with tissue paper and placed not anywhere close to the trash can. It did not even remotely give the impression that my Dior purchase was "trash." I reported this theft and nothing was done for days. I made multiple calls to the hotel while I was touring Paris and all calls were ineffective. I finally got to the head of the hotel, Manager Alessandra Bragoli, and she answered the phone with "Yes, I heard an empty box has been taken from your room." When I insisted on investigating the theft, she said "I'm going to call the police on you for falsely accusing me of theft" after another manager told me "The staff thought it was trash" therefore recognizing something was taken. I had to call up the US Embassy and got a hold of lawyers and told her to only talk to my lawyer going forward. That's when she did a 180 turn and offered either a discount on the hotel (which was an insult to me and I declined) and finally an apology with a plate of chocolates. I checked other reviews on here and there are other people getting things stolen and then being gaslit. Everyone should know this before they travel. You can even see Alessandra Bragoli commenting on this site on other reviews denying any responsibility and accountability for other bad reviews. She comments on a different review "really astonished reading your comments ... I would like you to know how unfair is your review." She threatened to call the police on me, an innocent guest traveling in a foreign country with two minors. Her behavior is beyond wrong. I hope she gets what's coming to her in karma.

The service here is impeccable! 5 star 🌟 with a personal touch. Their restaurant is also top class when compared to other restaurants in the area. Receptionists were better than Disney staff in their prime 😁. It's an older hotel.... as old as everything else in this area, with easy, safe walking access to all the major attractions. Eiffel Tower, Lourve Museum, Opera, Palace Vendome, Pont Alexander III Bridge, and many, many more top must see sites.

The staff at this hotel were all kind and wonderful. I'm not fluent in English or French, but the staff here explained things to me carefully, and thanks to that I was able to have a comfortable stay.

We are so happy we choose Castille for our Paris trip! We went with our 18 year old son and chose the junior suite duplex. It was so spacious! He had the downstairs sofa bed which he said was so comfortable and we had the loft bedroom upstairs. The hotel is beautiful, well appointed and in a perfect location! Right next to Chanel and across the street from the Ritz. The restaurant, L'Assaggio, was delicious and was recognized by Michelin in 2020. Most importantly, the staff was kind, patient and accommodating! Well done! When we return to Paris, we will stay with you again! Kendall, Terry & Porter

Fabulous hotel in Paris! It was our first time visiting Paris and we are so happy to have stayed at Le Castille! Our room was clean and very inviting - we loved having the balcony door open. The breakfast was fabulous. And the staff was always welcoming and helpful!

This was our first time staying here at this hotel. We love the location and have stayed at many hotels in this Arrondissement. The staff and the room staff are very responsive and friendly and the service is excellent. A nice shout out to Shermine and Rebecca who were wonderful hostesses for our stay. There is a full service restaurant and we also loved the breakfast. Including complimentary water and soft drinks in the mini bar was a nice touch. We also liked the champagne or mimosa with breakfast. Do not miss the house made madeleines by Jean-Luc. It was also very nice to meet the GM, Alessandra, who inquired and cared that we had a nice stay. We will stay here again.

The location to be honest is amazing and the stuff ate friendly. However the rest is terrible , the check in process wasn’t pleasant or easy, and after we wait for 5 hours to get into the room, they put us in very small room near the service room which was very annoying. Very disappointed. The hotel is old

We loved this place The Castille Paris is located in the 1st, this location is centered perfectly to see, walk 14-45 mins,or bike to all major sights we wanted to see the shopping in the area is the best. The staff at desk are wonderful, maid service is great, and chef and waitstaff are superb. Food is mind blowing and the chocolate crescents, madalines and cappuccinos are to kill for.. I have never felt so spoiled. Thank you Castille Paris for making my daughter's birthday celebration best!

Our stay at the Castille Paris was beyond our expectations. It was an amazing experience from the moment of our arrival to the moment of our departure. The service was impeccable. On our arrival, which was late in the evening, we were greeted by Mr. Yacine, who was most gracious and welcoming. The Concierge, Mr. Nahim, was most helpful with a wonderful sense of humor. He truly exemplified the gold crossed keys on his lapels. The room was beautiful, comfortable and with a balcony, with a flower box and a view looking up Rue Cambon. Room service was prompt and the food delicious. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a delicious variety of items to choose from. We ate in the beautiful courtyard. This was truly a five star experience. This was our 6th. trip to Paris and overall our best hotel stay of all.

Very happy with my stay at Castille Paris. I was a guest during the tail end of the pandemic, and the staff was very welcoming. I arrived super early and the staff worked quickly to prepare my room well ahead of my check-in time. This was such a blessing as I was coming from a 9hr flight. The room was small but very cute! The location is next to all the luxury stores such as Chanel. Great hotel. Very luxurious.
