Out of the thousands of hotels in Paris, it can be overwhelming to find the one that suits the comforts and amenities of a place to stay while also being in an area that is appealing, easily accessible by the main modes of transportation (metro) and surrounded by more "local" places to eat or have a drink. Hotel Atmoshperes checked all the boxes for me on initial research, and upon check-in and my stay, the hotel indeed satisfied each and every aspect I desire in staying in a major city after having experienced it firsthand. Of note (for my specific travel needs) the hotel was first off easy to reach via metro station from Gare de Est main train station. Upon check-in, the hotel has a nice lobby and that boutique touch that most 4* star hotels in Paris have that aren't part of the big chain/brand hotels. The room was wonderful. Typical for the size and price point of a Parisian hotel room it had everything I needed. And while small, I really appreciated the lighting options in the room, from bright as day, to very discrete with the different light arrangements. The bed I found to be very comfortable. Plush enough yet supportive. The room had a mini fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, and some closet storage. I will say, the closet space is limited but not a deal breaker for me. It still was of use for my needs. My room had a special treat, a street facing balcony on the 5th floor! This was a special extra touch I had desired because of the appeal of people/street watching from my own space up above. With that said, noise from the street at the 5th floor level was minimal. Not enough to bother a light sleeper like me (sans the occasional city siren of an ambulance or police car driving by). The entirety of the hotel was clean and well kept from what I saw. My room was always refreshed and equipped with fresh towels for each day. I really want to make note on the hotel staff. Particularly two people. First the General Manager, Christelle Boin. While i have never stayed at this property previously, I was treated as if I have based on my status at another major chain hotel. The GM had left my partner and I a wonderfully handwritten note (beautiful modern postcard) and chocolates for us to come back to after a day out seeing the offers of the city. It was an extremely nice personal touch that made us both really appreciate that little bit "extra" that the hotel provided us and our stay. The second person I want to give a huge shoutout to is Marjorie! She gets a special shoutout because I noticed on another reservation site and hotel the hotel's own website that some rooms include a balcony. I had booked a room but a balcony was no guarantee. Before I committed to a reservation, I called the hotel an spoke with a woman (Marjorie) about a possible room with balcony. She mentioned upon booking the room, add the special request and they would see to it that they could make it happen. It did not take long after my phone call, booking the room and getting a response, did my desire to have a balcony room become confirmed and guaranteed! And for it to be honored on check-in really made the trip what it was for my Valentine! Marjorie was quick to recognize my name when she was on shift the second day as we were headed out and greeted us at the front desk with a big wonderful smile! It was great to have met the wonderful woman with which I spoke to previously on the phone and made my lovely Valentine's stay in Paris the perfect one! The balcony really made the room for us and Marjorie was the key person to ensure it could happen for us. A big THANK YOU for Marjorie at Hotel Atmospheres!!! I can highly recommend the hotel for all things considered. Outside the hotel, ease to Metro access was critical and what can someone complain about being only a minutes walk to the Seine and Notre Dame?!

Beautiful small hotel in a lovely quiet area in Paris. Breakfast was perfect, the hotel is very cute and less than10 mins walk to the metro. Yes the rooms are very small but what makes this hotel worth every penny is its staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and really made such an effort. The reception staff couldn't do enough for us, the staff working at breakfast were so nice and the cleaning staff were so friendly. Top notch staff and hopefully appreciated by management. We'll definitely stay there again when we come back to Paris.

Excellent choice of a 4 star hotel in Paris. It l is located close to many restaurants, and tourists sites like the notre dame, tuileries, louvre etc. Also it is clise to bus and metro stations. The rooms are well set up, and the bathrooms have a nice shower. Every day, fresh water and coffee cups for the coffee machine. Great breakfast is served in the basement with many options such as fresh bread yoghurts, cheese etc, as well as a couple of hot dishes. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommendable as a place to stay in paris.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Such a warm welcome and we lived the decor. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. And did I say how lovely the staff were? They thought we had left some reading glasses in our room after we checked out (we hadn't) but they took the trouble to phone me. This place is about attention to detail, and this is where it wins. Highly recommended.

Nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. Our room was rather small but very cozy, we were on the street side of the hotel, but still very quiet and calm.

I spent weeks looking for the perfect hotel. This hotel checked all my boxes! Pros: the location is amazing, with a quick walk to Cathédrale Notre-Dame and La Maison d’Isabelle (best pastries) and near the Metro to get you to Eiffel Tower. They had the friendliest staff, the hotel and room were modern and clean, and not to mention super quiet. After booking, I emailed asking for a room with a balcony, and we got one! Also, you are walking distance from Michelin Guide & Star restaurants. Cons: NONE, while guests will say the rooms are small they are the standard French size hotel rooms.

This made our Paris trip a wonderful experience . The front desk and room cleaning staff were friendly, helpful, kind, and caring. Over excellent service #1 staff. The hotel is centrally located. We walked everywhere, and our favorite wine bar was Les Falcon across the street. I would 100% go back.

Small rooms but were clean. Hotel staff pleasant and met every expected ask. Honor bar was a nice touch and provided a low-key opportunity to have a glass of wine while waiting for my wife.

Our stay at Hotel Atmospheres was absolutely fantastic. From the minute we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. In addition to the professional and friendly staff, our room was modern and clean. We really liked the fact that our room (111) had a tiny little outside terrace facing the inner courtyard. The included breakfast was wonderful - lots of selections. The hotel has small but very adequate fitness area that included an awesome hydromassage system and a sauna. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, and the neighborhood had so much to offer as well. Steps away from the Seine, Luxembourg Gardens, Jardin des Plantes, and Latin Quarter. Lots of cafes and restaurants just outside the hotel. Highly recommended.

Location actually pretty good - rooms are tiny - service was mostly good but at night a very grumpy old guy runs the front desk.

We stayed at Hotel Atmospheres for 7 nights in their Deluxe suite. It was a very large room with a loft and was great for our family of 4. Two bathrooms with showers, and even a small dry Sauna in the room, which was great in cold November. The staff was very courteous and the breakfast was also good. Room was quiet at night and could turn very dark when lights were turned off, which allowed us to sleep nicely. Also the beds were very firm and comfy. Overall great experience. Location is also great. It is only ~4-5 min walk from the Maubert - Mutualité metro/subway station, where the Marche Maubert (farmers market) takes place Tue, Thu and Sat. You'll also find the La Maison d’Isabelle boulangerie (bakery) - one of the best in all of Paris. Right behind the hotel, there is Pantheon (again only about 4-5 min walk) and the Notre Dame cathedral is ~10 min walk. So, a great location and a great hotel. Things that can be improved - the downstairs area of the room has a roof that gets very loud when it is raining since the rain directly falls on loud plastic-y roof. So soundproofing it better would be great. Also, the breakfast is the exact SAME every single day. Maybe some variety would be good. Gets pretty old quickly if you're staying there for multiple nights. I'd still highly recommend this hotel for a trip with your family. It is away from the big touristy things (like the Eiffel Tour, Champs Elysees) but still a convenient location and is very quiet. If you want to get a feel for living like a Parisian in Latin Quarter, this is the place to be at.
