It
is
hard
to
imagine
a
more
perfectly
located
Hotel
for
someone
wanting
to
explore
Paris.
Situated
in
the
heart
of
the
Latin
quarter,
2
blocks
from
Notre
Dame
Cathedral,
it
is
within
easy
walking
distance
to
everything
on
the
Ile
de
la
Cite,
as
well
as
everything
nearby
on
both
banks
of
the
Seine.
There
are
dozens
of
restaurants
within
a
2-3
block
walk.
In
addition,
there
are
2
metro
stations,
each
less
than
a
5
minute
walk.
One
of
those
metro
stations
is
also
an
RER
train
station
with
direct
lines
to
CDG
airport
and
to
Versailles,
with
the
Eiffel
Tower
along
the
way.
On
the
metro,
you
are
within
2
stops
from
a
major
intersection
of
multiple
lines
and
can
literally
get
anywhere
from
there.
The
rooms
are
warmly
furnished
and
are
spotless.
While
a
bit
small
by
American
standards,
(remember
you
are
in
the
middle
of
old
Paris
next
door
to
a
church
(St.
Severin)
built
in
the
1300's),
it
did
not
feel
tight
and
was
very
well-appointed
with
everything
you
need
for
a
comfortable
stay.
The
staff
was
welcoming
and
efficient
and
fluent
in
English,
but
also
very
willing
to
"play
along"
with
my
attempts
to
speak
French.
Breakfasts
were
varied
and
plentiful.
If
you
are
wanting
a
great
home
base
from
which
to
explore
Paris,
this
is
a
terrific
Hotel!
