This hotel is a total gem and I'm so glad we chose it! The location is perfect as was the hotel. We stayed in a regular room and it wasn't large, but had a comfortable bed, lovely linens, a great shower and was kept spotlessly clean...as we were only in the room to sleep it was perfect for us. Every single member of the hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. They called taxis for us, gave us walking directions as we needed them and even offered us umbrellas on our one rainy day. Having breakfast right in the hotel was also great so that we could get up and get right out every morning. Fresh croissants, meat, cheese, eggs, sausage and coffee any way you wanted it. The little pool in the basement was fantastic too! The water was warm and had jets that felt great after a long day of walking around town plus the sauna was eucalyptus scented. We loved everything about this hotel!!

This place was so nice and an easy highlight of the trip. The rooms and facility were so clean, and everyone was so friendly. It's also a great part of town, so many little restaurants around, it was super nice and felt very safe, and very centrally located. Can't recommend this hotel enough!

Beautiful hotel in a quiet location of the Latin Quarter, a stone throw away from Notre Dame. Plenty to do around the hotel without being in the hustle and bustle of some of the other areas in Paris. We used the hotel as a base for our engagement so we didn't eat breakfast. The hotel staff were lovely and made it very clear they would do anything to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We booked the basic room which was small (but still a very decent size for city centre) but beautifully decorated. The bed was the comfiest we have ever slept in away from home and the shower was perfect. We used the spa on our second day which was an added bonus and much needed after walking around Paris the day before. We walked most of the major sites in Paris from the hotel but the metro and the Notre Dame boat stop are within 5 minutes of the hotel if you prefer less walking. Great hotel, we would definitely return. Highly recommend. Thank you La Lanterne team.

We stayed here for 3 nights the staff were very welcoming and allowed us to store our bags as arrived in the morning. Very helpful and explained the hotel and everything. Rooms were typically smaller as per the Paris normal way but had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. The pool was a nice area to relax, not big enough for lengths just to sit and relax. The steam room was good, too. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there were some beautiful pastry shops nearby. The only thing that could have made it amazing was the little touch as was my birthday while there I've had prev hotels not this and even a happy birthday goes far. But it was perfectly placed hotel for a trip to see everything in Paris and 10 mins walk from main metro.

Incredible experience. We returned to this hotel for a second time without considering other options. The room was spacious and clean, the staff are amazing (every single one of them), and the spa is the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. Special regards to Vanessa the hotel manager for making our stay feel extra special.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was amazing. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. I have never been to Paris before and when we arrived we were given a map and recommended many places to visit and other helpful advice. We were also able to store our bags in the hotel until our room was ready and after checkout until our transfer to the airport. The hotel is in an excellent location in my opinion a stone throw away from notre dame.

Great hotel in a great location. Check out Jozi down the street for breakfast! There's hot and cold water control outside the tub near the trash can if you can't seem to get cold water. The pool is quite small and the sauna room isn't very hot but it's cool looking. Super friendly staff!

Family trip. This hotel fit the our needs perfectly and was an excellent value. The location made walking and relying on public transit a snap. The staff were kind and helpful and while the rooms are small, they are well appointed and serviced. Highly recommend!

Erick and all staff were very polite and patient. They gave us tips and made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast is very good. The pool and the sauna are a very nice. If you have any mobility concerns, the entrance may be an issue due to the stars. The location is very good. Congratulations for the service! Erica Carvalho from Brazil

A beautiful and cozy hotel in a great location. Perfect spot for my husband and I during our first trip to Paris. Hotel La Lanterne and it’s staff didn’t disappoint! The rooms and hotel were very clean, the breakfast buffet was very convenient and the pool / spa area was a much added bonus. Thank you Hotel La Lanterne for an amazing stay in Paris! We will be back! Laura

So glad we booked here—the hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The location is great and very close to good restaurants, a metro stop, a laundromat, a police station (we felt safe!). It’s also close to big sights like Notre Dame. The staff are very helpful and speak English well. The amenities are better than other hotels we encountered throughout France—excellent shower and toiletries, coffee/tea service, mini fridge, and lots of electrical outlets!

The service we received was absolutely brilliant! The hotel was always clean, with nothing ever out of place. Staff were always welcoming no matter what time of day or night and always more than happy to help. The location is fantastic - you are just far enough away from the major hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk into the main centre of the Latin Quarter (or metro anywhere else), and still close enough to loads of really good cafe/bars, restaurants, local amenities, and cultural sites! The rooms are wonderfully clean and come with all the needed tools and facilities. I’d previously seen people comment about the small sizes of the rooms - ignore these - they may well be smaller, but for the quality you get they are spot on. Whether you are staying for a romantic break, or touring Paris, you won’t need any bigger room! Breakfast was a mix of pastries, eggs, cold meats and cheeses, fruit juices, hot drinks, cereals, and other bits and pieces. Classical French/Continental breakfast the ticked the box. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you to all of the team!

La Lantern is a cute little hotel in the Latin Quarter. The rooms are characteristically small, but the bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. Bathroom is large, plenty of hot water and nice thick towels. We were very comfortable there. It is a little hard to get to for a taxi or Uber as they cannot stop for more than a minute on the one way street. Carrying the luggage up and down the stairs to get to the hotel from the street would be difficult for elderly or someone with mobility issues. The location makes up for it though; close to so many bistros, coffee, shopping and attractions.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was a typical small European hotel size. It was a little cramped for 2 people with luggage. It was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We loved the location! There were three Metropolitan stations within 3 to 10 minute walk.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, location is perfect and the hotel is kept very clean. Rooms are good size, beds are very comfortable, nice linens and towels and good water pressure in shower. Would definitely stay next time I visit Paris.

The hotel was super clean and beautiful. Bed was really comfy, the shower and bathroom were spacious. Really great area of Paris, near metro stop and walking distance to many things. Also very close to the market and one of the best croissants in Paris (La Maison d'Isabelle) I would absolutely stay there again.

Can highly recommend this beautiful hotel🩷 Really good location in Latin quartier, st.germain and you reach Pantheon in a hop and a skip, close to river Seine and Notre Dame. The hotel is small (normal in Paris), beautifully decorated, lovely rooms, charming, modern, warm, quiet, tv, minibar, coffemaker, waterboiler, robe and slippers, huge shower, and we had toilet in seperat room which was nice. Only negative thing is breakfast...the layout is so weird and unpractical, few options, and for some reason they put "reserved" on the tables even though nobody is claming the reserved table, leaving just a few tiny tables, and the total is like 10. But, the service is good! And outside the hotel there are several places to get a proper breakfast and even a few amazing boulangeries😍 The swimming pool is not a swimmingpool, it is more like a big tub. The steam is also small. Dont expect to go swimming, but you can go relax, it is really nice, but small. We did morning and eveningbaths😊 I would for sure stay here again, but I would go out for breakfast. Service excellent! Book it😃🩷

Except that rooms are slightly small (and to be fair, the space is more than adequate), the hotel is excellent: very clean, excellent staff, great location. We did hear some noise from the bar next door on weekend nights, but windows/insulation limited the noise so it wasn’t disruptive.

Love this hotel. Staff is amazing. Breakfast was exceptional every morning, highly recommend the croissants and eggs. Rooms are contemporary and very clean. Great location in the Latin Quarter. The vibe in this area is a bit more lowkey which we loved. Great restaurants within walking distance in all directions. The Turkish bath is pretty nice as well!

This is a great hotel find in Paris. Nice rooms with excellent showers and an incredibly kind and helpful staff. The breakfast is elegant and the neighborhood is very cute. I would love to come back.

Book a room in this hotel and the service was very poor, the room are very small and you can hear everything around. Not soundproof at all. The swimming pool have a size of a Jaccuzi . Will not recommend this hotel to anyone especially regarding the high price of a night for a poor service .

Nice hotel located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, the rooms are clean and pretty big for Paris. If you can’t find the hotel, you have go to down the stairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. Only our shower wasn’t working properly, not possible to get colder water.

Perfect! Good place in Paris, with several restaurants around. 2 steps of Notre-Dame. If you're looking for hotel with excellent services and good experience and good value of money..... It's here. I would advise you, the room 6, and 46 for a suite with an amazing bathroom! Thanks to Copinesdebonsplans.fr

The perfect little hideaway in Paris, close to a metro and within walking distance to the busier parts of the Latin quarter but hotel itself is nice and quiet. Smallish rooms and we upgraded to a balcony which was great to sit and enjoy the evening. But although small it was large enough for us and the shower had fantastic pressure and was a great size. The hamman feels like pure luxury after a long day of walking around. Breakfast was nice. And staff were always a delight. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel.

Spa facilities were lovely here and great that it was included for free in our booking. Bath robes and slippers provided in the wardrobe. The steam room is a luxurious room with large areas to lie down and there's also an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi functions. Really relaxing experience and it was actually quite empty too. Lots of spare clean towels just outside the spa too. Breakfast food was nice and fresh - croissants, jams, fresh yoghurt, freshly squeezed juices. Just a few small issues which is why I've given 4 stars: Parking is very limited here - originally I booked this hotel because on Google Reviews and Hotels.com for some reason it says this hotel has parking. We parked on the street right in front, but it cost about €24 just for 3 hours. Free after 6.30pm until 9.30am. Room was spacious but the toilet was in a separate room to the shower and it was a very cramped space. Also for some reason they kept serving us lukewarm water in the breakfast tea pots. Asked for this to be refilled with hot water and again it was lukewarm - not sure if this is a French thing? I was also a little concerned that when we asked for coffee it was literally just instant coffee in a cold tea pot, and if you ask for tea you get a pot of lukewarm water and have to add tea bags etc yourself. This seemed a little cheap considering the rest of the breakfast food was actually very high quality and fresh. Overall would be a much better breakfast experience if they could just offer a self serve tea/coffee machine or at least a hot water tap for us to use ourselves. I would stay here again based on the nice service from staff, cleanliness of the room and the excellent spa facilities.

We were extremely happy with our stay at La Lanterne. We had a garden facing room and the garden was a small jewel. The room itself was great except we had very little storage available. The breakfast was always fresh and had lots of variety. The staff friendly and ready to help with all our questions and planning. The location was fabulous- for a first time visitor it fit all our needs, being central near Notre Dame, the metro, a market, food stores and the Latin quarter restaurants.

This hotel was beautiful and had an excellent location in the Latin Quarter. We had a suite and it had plenty of space for my family of four. It had a small but well-maintained pull that my kids loved. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were fantastic. The only comment I have is that there is a distinct lack of storage space in the rooms. We had to upgrade rooms to a deluxe room because the single wardrobe in the superior room was too small. In part because the fridge and safe are within the wardrobe. The deluxe room however, is fabulous and we would definitely recommend and will return to this hotel on our next trip to Paris. The staff at La Lanterne are incredible and can not do enough to help, so they really made our trip extremely seamless and enjoyable.

This hotel worked perfectly for our family of 4. The family set up included 2 separate rooms attached with a hallway. Having 2 bathrooms was very convenient. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The small pool was a big hit with the kids after a long day of sightseeing. Additionally, there are a ton of restaurants within a 10 min walk. If you are on a long trip, there is even a laundromat across the street. If we return to Paris I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice small hotel in the very center of Paris. I travelled with my 6-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, there was no treadmill in the gym and the bike did not work properly (you couldn’t increase intensity as most buttons did not work) - but this way I could find out, that running in Paris works quite well in the morning and it is only a short distance to the Seine from the hotel. The pool was very nice and breakfast was good as well. All the personnel was very friendly.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! My stay was amazing. The staff was courteous and helpful. My bed was so comfortable. My weekend there was exactly what I needed to be able to recharge and rejuvenate to continue with my normal work routine. I definitely recommend staying here regardless of the reason, business or personal this place is gorgeous and so clean.
