While
this
hotel
has
the
right
address,
that
was
about
all
it
had
for
me.
As
a
longtime
Starwood
fan,
I
have
consistently
been
disappointed
with
the
changes
joining
Marriott
and
this
may
be
my
final
stay
with
the
brand.
Property
-
A
regent
location,
easy
to
access
the
sites
in
Paris,
walkable
to
many
eateries
and
attractions.
No
complaints
on
the
address
Rooms
-
We
all
know
every
big
city
has
small
rooms,
and
I
am
not
opposed
to
that,
however,
after
a
half-million
point
booking,
and
use
of
my
suite
night
awards,
ending
up
in
a
“deluxe”
room
was
just
a
truly
disappointing
showing
by
the
property.
Room
was
unable
to
get
cold,
and
after
several
warnings
to
the
front
desk,
we
were
told,
that’s
as
cold
as
it
gets.
Rooms
were
dated,
but
clean,
however,
so
tight,
some
cabinets
would
not
open,
and
when
you
tried,
would
slam
into
side
tables.
Food
Service
-
As
you
can
expect
from
any
Marriott
property,
the
food
is
never
excellent,
and
this
property
is
no
exception,
the
food
(while
we
only
had
breakfast)
was
a
solid
C
-
edible,
and
fine
as
a
“free
breakfast”,
but
I
would
honestly
rather
eat
a
gas
station
hot
dog
than
another
meal
on
property
here.
Staff
-
Everyone
was
polite
and
friendly
-
not
overly
eager
to
accommodate
your
stay,
but
stoic,
honest,
and
most
of
the
time
were
able
to
accommodate
a
request
like
bottles
of
water,
or
calling
a
taxi.
They
did
however
fumble
a
significant
request
to
have
laundry
re-done,
which
never
happened
-
and
the
hotel
did
accommodate
by
removing
my
bar
bill.
Overall,
it
felt
like
your
typical
“Marriott”
experience,
which
sadly
has
lost
its
shimmer
in
my
eyes,
and
will
make
me
look
for
new,
boutique,
or
true
Luxury
accommodations
going
forward,
The
“Luxury”
brand
with
Marriott
really
does
not
embody
Luxury
anymore.
