I was denied the entrance to the bar for wearing sandals. And I dont mean Hawaianas, they were leather Loewe gorgeous that I had just bought. You would thing that been one of the most expensive hotels in Paris they would understand "what a sandal is" and they would treate you like the guest you are. But no. I had to go upstaris and change. Obvisoly I did not go in this time. I went to a different bar.

Amazing hotel. Beautifully designed, great restaurants (Lutetia Brasserie is a must visit) and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very well designed and sound proof. Great attention to detail from public areas, to restaurants and bars as well as rooms. Excellent quality, thoughtful features and lovely Hermes amenities.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful hotel to celebrate the last day of our honeymoon road trip through Italy and France and we had a truly amazing and unforgettable experience and it was and the perfect ending to our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived we were treated so kindly and made to feel special and welcome, especially by Claire who showed us to our room. And what a room and what a spectacular view indeed!! We are so happy that we choose Suite Amour and having dinner on the balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower was the highlight on our honeymoon and a memory we will never forget. We sat looking at each other across the table, speechless and wondering if we were in a dream but feeling so blessed and lucky to be able to share such a wonderful moment together. Every single member of staff that we met were so kind and helpful and happy and everyone seems to love working at Lutetia! We've stayed in many luxurious hotels around the world and we are regular guests at the sister hotel and our favourite hotel in Amsterdam The Conservatorium but Lutetia is on a different level and the best we've ever experienced. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our visit so very special and giving us memories that we will hold dearly for the rest of our lives.

First of all, the street is so noisy! You're in your room and it's just honking non-stop. And there's construction all around the building! When you're in bed you can hear and feel the subway train going underneath the building every two minutes. I've stayed in many great hotels in Paris and I've never experienced that before! Plus you can hear water running inside the pipes in the walls, every time someone showers in the room next door you'll hear it! Room service is the worst! You tell them the exact instructions, and they do the opposite, not sure if it's because they just hate you or they're just so clueless. Basically, it was my worst experience ever. I'm never coming back to Lutetia.

This is a legendary hotel with a great renovation. But management needs to do a few things differently. Room service was not good although they did try and make it up with berries. The single beds are not good. The shower handheld has no pressure, the TV does not work with cast from phone and sports channels are not subscribed to. On the positive side, staff are awesome , the bar is great and the location couldn't be better.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are incredible, very high tech, and have amazing views of the city and the Eiffel Tower. The service is impeccable and everyone is extremely welcoming and accommodating, I was even able to order a hair straightener from the concierge. The food in the restaurant is very good and the drinks at the bar are very unique and interesting. I highly recommend staying here or at least stopping by for a drink or dinner.

Fantastic weekend away in Paris with friends, thank you to Romain and Lucas for the lovely welcome and attention to details, the whole team make us feel right at home and organised a nice surprise for my friend’s birthday! Such a wonderful hotel in an incredible location right on the left bank. We will be back!

We just checked out of Hotel Lutitia. It’s a gorgeous property with impressive service in every way. The location is perfect to experience Paris and it does not feel surrounded by tourists. The fit and finish is very well done with a beautiful art deco vibe. The gym and spa are very luxurious. The bar was a nice place for a drink before heading out for dinner. We will be returning for another stay for sure. Two criticisms- there was only one towel hook in washroom and the shower door opened out which meant the floor got wet with every shower as the mat had to placed after showering. The floors become slippery when wet. Very minor design flaws in such a marvellous hotel. The staff really deserve credit for such a delightful stay.

Such a beautiful property with such lovely staff. We really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms are absolutely stunning and have incredible views. The food at the brasserie is delicious. The pool in the spa is dreamy. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a luxury hotel in Paris.

Unforgettable experience, beautiful property, & 5-star service. Hôtel Lutetia is truly in the top of its class when it comes to customer service and hospitality. We came for a weekend stay, and our experience at Lutetia made it even more difficult than usual to leave Paris. Everyone working at this property is genuinely focused on making each guest's experience comfortable and seamless. Truly every time you enter a different room in the public areas, there are multiple people ready to help you find what you need. Upon arrival, our bags were held for us as we checked in, which was a smooth process. We were given a tour of the public areas of the hotel, and we were happy to hear that hotel guests are given priority seating at the bar and brasserie. We were also shown to our room and given an explanation of how to use the controls (very helpful). Our room, though small, was perfect for a couple, and it felt like home for the weekend. Updated technology in each room makes it easy to set temperatures, turn lights on and off, and control the TV's and blinds. In-room dining is available 24 hours per day, and housekeeping does a very fine job. We had a wonderful brunch at the Brasserie (I highly recommend the extensive and very Parisian buffet), and some incredible drinks in the old-world style Bar Joséphine. We also used the pool and sauna each day, and the locker rooms were always clean and never crowded. The fitness room has equipment for all types of workouts, and they offer classes as well throughout the week (yoga, etc). Although we did not use the spa on this trip, I have read excellent reviews. The concierge desk is staffed with a team of friendly people whose knowledge of Paris seems to be endless, no matter what kind of experience you're looking for. A special thank-you to Marie-Anne, who was able to get us two reservations on very late notice for a weekend. They will be able to help you discover not only good food, but also parts of the city that are charming/beautiful, yet not brimming with tourists. A concierge team like this one is, to me, one of the most important criteria for what sets a 5-star hotel apart from the rest. Staying at Lutetia is a treat unto itself, and I would encourage you to book it if you are considering - you will not be disappointed. I hope to return soon and often. (PS - the other 2 properties in The Set Collection are also a must-see in both Amsterdam and London, and are similarly top-notch)

Amazing experience. The hotel & the room were terrific. The spa is fantastic, but it's open to more people than the hotel customers; therefore, it was crowded with people the afternoon we were there. A guy was there for swimming laps, which made the place not peaceful anymore. We had dinner at the bistro. One of the best spots was reserved for us, and the food was excellent. We would give it 4.8 stars.

Amazing and luxurious on all counts. We stayed there for a few days and were amazed at the quality of the hotel, the staff, the food. Everything is top notch and conveys the very special nature of this Parisian Palace level hotel. The staff was outstanding. We will be back!

Excellent visit to Paris! We stayed at Hotel Lutetia a few weeks ago and fell in love with the property and everything it has to offer: architectural beauty, romantic views, perfect service, most accommodating staff, rooms with all the latest technology you can think of. We loved being "in the middle of it all" in Saint Germain, yet in complete privacy, peace and quiet when in the room. The spa was great, calming yet refreshing; the brasserie delivered exactly what we needed on a sunny afternoon, a little pick me up; the in room breakfast was to die for; and the view of the Eiffel Tower from our room balcony, simply breathtaking! We would like to thank and mention those members of staff who looked after us during our visit, turning our stay into an experience, and therefore making our 1st wedding anniversary celebration most unforgettable - Angelina at Reception who arranged the warmest of welcomes (and had our room ready early for our arrival), the lovely young lady from F&B team who served us breakfast in room on the morning of 9th Oct (I apologise for not catching your name, but the set up was exquisite), and Lucas from the Front Desk who kindly arranged for a cake to be safely packed for our train journey home. We will definitely return as Paris, and now this hotel, has a special place in our hearts! Keep us the great work! Jelena & Melvyn

Be aware, restaurants and bars are not prepared for intolerances. No gluten free/lactose free options. The worst thing is that even if you end up being offered gluten free/lactose free option, at the end it would still be gluten+lactose in there. The bread was served multiple times assuring it was gluten free, however, obviously it was not the case as absolutely same one was served to each table. Got a salad with Parmesan and butter dressing as a lactose free option. Ended up having my food changed 3 times until finally getting something similar to gluten, lactose free option. Unfortunately I still tasted a bread.. however, I should still consider myself lucky as it is not an allergy, but intolerance and I am only unwell at home, but not fighting my life in the hospital

A lovely haven in the chaos of Paris. I loved the outdoor courtyard in the back as it made you forget about the hectic pace of the city that laid just beyond the hotel walls. The rooms are generous in size and very comfortable. The mirrors in the bathroom even had TVs (I suppose for those who need to stay connected). Staff were very welcome and accommodating to our needs. Definitely lives up to the hype.

My favorite hotel -- impecable rooms, cleanliness, and aesthetic. The staff is incredible - they know you by name, as well as your preferences. And the signature fragrance is spot on and so good - Culti Mediterranea.

This review is long overdue! I have been to Hotel Lutetia several times and twice this past year. It is a hotel with so much beauty and history--one that my family would talk about before its renovations...and when I was able to visit after its re-opening several years ago, I was blown away by the elegance, the beauty, and also amenities the hotel has to offer. In the past year, what has kept me coming back is how personal and incredible the staff is. Especially Tien! Both times, he offered tours of the hotel, knew everything about the property inside and out, and had so much passion for his work. Throughout the stay, he made sure everything was going well, remembered every detail about what we were doing, and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. Everyone at Hotel Lutetia is so wonderful...I wish I could thank them all individually! Also, their concierge is amazing and so well-connected. They were able to offer the best reservations and offered perfect itineraries for both of my stays. On my last trip I left my sunglasses in my room, and they were able to send my glasses back to the States for me! I highly recommend this property!!! It's on the beautiful left bank and is so Parisian! Thank you to the staff, especially Tien!!

Extremely friendly and plentiful hotel staff members jump at any chance to fulfill your slightest desires. This is a posh hotel. Our room was above our expectations. Advanced controls for lighting, climate, window treatments, waterworks, and entertainment made our stay quite comfortable. Plenty of storage areas to hide away the messy side of travel. They even gave us unexpected gifts, as it was our honeymoon and our scheduled stay was delayed for a year due to unfortunate circumstances. The bar is very cool with nice dim lighting and fresh, subtle beats that contribute to the classy, urban ambiance.

Just one question: can I live here, please? I felt like royalty… Maybe, in part, because I was in a former palace… But the staff are incredible. I really felt the luxury seeped into every aspect of this hotel.

This was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had. The location is perfect. The staff exceeded expectations in every way and the facility is one of the most beautiful and well designed. Everyone offered true hospitality and we thank the Lutetia team for their passion and attention to customer service. The historic story is something to explore and that knowledge and experience respects history. Addressing the good and the bad provides a great example for all of us. We are grateful for the experience and look forward to visiting this hotel and other properties run by this hotel group in the future. Thank you!

Awful service. Feels like a provincial 3 stars. No sense of service. Several times. No way like proper high end. Not level of the four-seasons (which is always quality, anywhere) Not at all at the level they claim: foreigners, pick another hotel in paris !

Simply delightful! It’s my first time staying in the Left Bank and I was super happy it was at Hotel Lutetia. They have the most beautifully renovated rooms, the inside of the lobby tres chic and the service was stupendous. Hermes heath products in the all-marble bathroom made this the ultimate in luxury. I had a deluxe room with double balconies on the top floor and with views across to the Eiffel Tower — I couldn’t ask for more. The cherry on the cake? The high tech and well equipped gym that’s incredible for a hotel - excellent equipment and had 90% of what I use daily. The pool was stunning with hammam and saunas fit for a luxurious spa. And when I asked for a very early work out session before my morning flight, the hotel staff were more than happy to oblige and opened the gym to me at 6am. Felt thoroughly spoilt and can’t wait to come back again to be in Left Bank splendour.

I have been coming to Hotel Lutetia for many years and have always felt very welcomed and as though I am coming to my “home” in Paris. My suite is fabulous, the service is impeccable, as is the food. The moment I arrive I am welcomed with friendly smiles and helpful people. The location of the hotel is perfect for me. I am close to everything I love in Paris and everywhere I like to go. I feel safe walking around at night, which is very important to me. The spa is exquisite and everywhere I go the staff know my name. To me this is very impressive. As a Music Producer and Musician, I have traveled extensively in the last 30 years, but I have never felt as comfortable as I do at Hotel Lutetia. I honestly spend as much time in the hotel enjoying the atmosphere and the people as I do out in Paris with my friends and work colleagues. But something has made my favorite hotel even better. There is something new in the air. There is a new general manager who is quite impressive and I literally see how the staff has risen to a new level of striving for excellence. There is an atmosphere of pride, professionalism and happiness that makes everything wonderful. The staff look as professional as they act, the service is 100% perfect, the food is delicious, the surroundings are even more exquisite than they were before. There is a feeling of excellence that is palatable everywhere I go. There is not a flower petal or chair out of place. The hotel is cleaner than any I have ever been in, and I have traveled all over the world, staying in many of the finest hotels. I am looked after in a way that is hard to describe. The staff give me plenty of space, but are so respectful and attentive that I am really most happy when I am within the walls of this beautiful hotel. Everyone at the front desk is there to assist, and whenever I asked Concierge to help me, they arrange tickets, medical assistance or whatever I need in a timely manner. I love to relax at the Bar Josephine after a long day and feel as though I’m being welcomed by friends. I try to arrange as many dinners with friends and colleagues at The Brasserie Lutetia as the food is wonderful and the surroundings lovely. I also try to come to Sunday tea as often as I can, and enjoy the lunch and the gorgeous salon with the stunning painted ceiling. I used to come to Paris once a year for work and stay two weeks. Now I come at least three times a year and stay a month at a time. People ask me why I keep coming back to Paris so often and say that Hotel Lutetia is the only place I want to be other than home with my family in San Francisco. Congratulations to everyone at Hotel Lutetia. You have reached for the stars and are touching them! I have to leave to go back to San Francisco in a week and am already counting the days until I am on my flight back to The Lutetia in mid-September. Bravo!! Michelle Schmitt Date of stay: April 2022

So Far I have been here for 1 day and still have 2 more days left and the Lutetia has impressed, from the room to the Spa and much more it is amazing, like we have a view of the Tour Eiffel which is nice, yea the restaurant and the Bar is on the Expensive side but it is good especially the sushi. But the room is amazing. The Concierge is great they can help you with everything and helped me get a rare model and this has been one of the best experiences here. So Thank You Hôtel Lutecia You are the best.

Perhaps the best hotel I’ve ever been to. My fiancé and I came here for our honeymoon and wow, from the room to the service to the bar, there is nothing we do not want to write home about. Incroyable. A bottle of surprise moet was there to greet us in our room (we didn’t even tell them the occasion), the massages we had at the hotel were some of the best we’ve had, the gentlemen at the bar prepared us drinks even after closing time (and might I add, the best drinks of our whole trip). We have a critical eye to hotels, and this hotel is straight exceptional. We’ll be making future visits. And the Suite Amour is indeed an incredible suite.

Apart from the relation to Nazists after the refurbishment I do enjoy it even more. I was able to have my cat in. They are just an amazing team. I love been there as I feel like home. I’d suggest to get the bigger rooms at the back and not the ones with terrace as they are smaller and of course you have the view but the space is utterly more important when you are in for some time. I come quite regularly so it’s good to have a bit more space. I’d recommend the Brasserie as well. Love the chef and the team. You guys are amazing. Thanks for having me, my cat and my pals. A big shout out to Olivier who have been serving us with such diplomacy and quality. Thank you!!!! Lady B
