Fantastic location but a tourist trap , old furniture totally lack of service attitude and zero attention to details in every facet of hotel service . The furniture would not fetch a dime in used places. The only impressive service was the door man taking care of your car, only that was outstanding. Advice, just exit the whole business

We were here the first time when my son was 1 and decided to come back since they renovated the rooms. He is 4 now and we decided to book the family suite. With 2 separate bedrooms. We paid 1806 for 2 nights. ( discounted!) and we were not exactly overwhelmed by luxury for this amount. It’s nice and the view is great. But it’s not 5 star luxury. Amenities are simple and only 1 shower gel for 3 for example. Breakfast is disappointing (38 euro per person) they were closed dor renovation but why not renovate the toilets?? Awful old and even dirty. ( the ones on the lobby floor) bar is very cozy and nice. Food is not that great but nice. When you book a room with kids they advertise that you have amenities for kids. But nothing… and 2nd day of the stay we received a bottle of champagne, fresh fruit and chocolates which is very nice. I think this hotel should look at the other 5 star hotels and learn from the service over there. Because this hotel is 120 years old and could be more like a actual 5 star with a few adjustments. The room was renovated but if you look at the details it’s not that great. Airco made a humming noice which kept us awake every 30 minutes. I doubt if we will go back again…

So bad experience stay Arrived first day - Checkin was supposed to be from 3 pm when I arrived the room was not ready. I was given no information on how long I would have to wait. Waited till 4 pm to finally be told my room was ready. When I got to the room I was extremely disappointed and for such an expensive hotel, there was no view and a building in front of the window. All the rooms on the other side of the hotel have a view of the park and river. The bathroom is also old, and the bed sheets are not cotton and are uncomfortable to sleep on. second day - Requested to change rooms and was told they would have two rooms available for me to change to but not until tomorrow the day next - Called reception to ask again about changing rooms, told there were no rooms available. last two days Two consecutive days housekeeping knocked on the door at 8.30 am. Came again at 10 am and then used the key to enter the room when I didn’t answer the door. Construction work started at 9.30 am every morning making it extremely difficult to get a good night's sleep. Very disappointing.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Over the past decade, our travels have brought me back to the Regina multiple times. Its unbeatable location and iconic status have been a big draw. However, my most recent stay will sadly be my last. The issue lies in the decreasing room size, a problem often humorously referred to as 'shrinkflation'. While small rooms are expected and part of the charm when traveling in Europe, the Regina has pushed the envelope too far. The size of the rooms does not align with the premium price being charged. I would never dissuade anyone from experiencing the Regina - the location and its status in history are indeed compelling. But fair warning to future guests, be prepared to pay a steep price for rather cramped accommodations.

You take your chances here expecting that upon your arrival your booked (and paid deposit) room will be ready. After spending all morning in lines at the airports a room is so needed. We arrived at 3 in the afternoon and the room was still not ready. Two other guests were waiting. One checked back out and went elsewhere. The rooms and the hotel are lovely, fighting the bags through the revolving door when you arrive, with no concierge also was disappointing.

The suite was nice and clean. Perfect location, kind staff but didn’t seem like a 5 star hotel.

Had the absolute best stay there! The hotel couldn't be in a better location and the view from our room was breath taking. I almost cried because it was so stunning. The staff was amazing from the moment we checked in and made sure my friends and I had the best experience ever.

Lovely 5 star Bel Epoch hotel in center of the 1st arondissment. Easy walk to many sites. Anna helped to upgrade us to a view suite which is one of the most beautiful rooms we've ever had in Paris. Good breakfasts. Superb personnel. Family owned and it shows. We will come back here.

Great view from the junior suite, but service wasn’t as we hoped for the 700 euro per night price. We even had the front desk wake us up at 2am (while asleep) because another room had complained about noise and thought it was ours. The front desk said “they thought it was 315” but they must not have sent anyone to verify before deciding to wake us up in the middle of the night. Our room had a corner view so I’m assuming they either heard another room or the noise from the street. For any price point, but especially this one I would expect the staff verify the complaint before waking us. I had also asked a few questions about check in by email before arrival, which they responded to the day before our check out - we had asked if check in an hour early would be possible, but ended up waiting till about 3 for the room. Excellent view and location - just seems disorganized at the front desk and a little bit outdated.

I recently stayed at Hotel Regina and was blown away by its impeccable service, elegant decor, and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with every possible amenity one could desire. The concierge was quick to inform us of best options for navigating the city, providing helpful tips and warnings to be aware of, and even helped us securing tickets for shows in the area. However, our experience was somewhat marred by a disappointing encounter with the concierge in one instance. Despite having a conversation with them the night before about arranging a late check-out, we were locked out of our room and unable to access our belongings on the day of our departure. For reference, we were told we could checkout by 1PM, and we tried to access our room at 12PM after a late breakfast and stroll around the park. This was an unfortunate oversight that could have been easily avoided with better communication and attention to detail. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and luxurious accommodations. It's truly a gem in every way, except for the one small hiccup with the concierge.

What to say? Not just one of my favorite hotels in Paris, one of my favorite places on the planet. Have been coming here for years (and their sister hotel Hotel Raphael). Bit of a splurge, worth it. Kindest staff, greatest bartenders, everyone is helpful and will go the extra mile. It’s worth it to go for one of the suites, they’re apartment-sized and each one is unique. They sent a bottle of rosè up just because on my recent visit. Everything here is stellar.

The most stunning view for the Eiffel Tower & park. Amazing service, amazing room and perfect location. One of the nicest experience in a hotel. View from the junior suite for the Eiffel tower is breathtaking. I can only recommend it!

Decided to splurge and spend 3 nights here in a junior suite with the Eiffel Tower view. The room was large with very high ceilings. The rose petals on the bed on arrival was a nice touch. Nice view of the Eiffel Tower at night. The service was excellent and friendly. Love it!

Visited the junior site with view, for one night doing solo in paris. The room seemed like a college room, very small and toilet seemed like it was done in the 1980's. One elevator worked, which was slow as hell. Fitness was very poor and all other facilities seemed old. This is not a 5 star hotel. Service seemed OK.

The location is good in walling distance to main attractions and high end places. The view of our room was spectacular except the ferris wheel totally blocking the Eiffel tower. This was a disappointment and we were not warned prior to booking. Moreover, you can imagine that you pay more for a room with the Eiffel tower view. In a 5 star hotel you expect to have high quality room services such as cleaning the room, changing the used glasses, backfilling coffee/ tea and water in the room. Other than a semi-tidy bed nothing was done when we came back to our room from the first day. The funny part is when we called the reception and then also visited physically afterwards, we have not been greeted so politely and informed these are two different teams and they will serve. After a wait time of several hours, we received the water and then the coffee/tea bags in different times by different people. By then, all our appetite to have a nice coffee watching the lovely view has already gone… The value for many vs what you get as a service is a question mark. I strongly recommend to check multiple reviews before deciding to stay here.

DO NOT STAY HERE. It was very sad for me that my favorite hotel is so poorly managed. I have stayed here for at least 5 times since 2019. And not only did they treated us poorly but the hotel is going downhill. Dirty, stains in the carpet, the room service food is terrible, I’ve had better airplane food much better that what they served us (and I am talking coach). The rooms smell (I booked two rooms this time) noises all the time, AC doesn’t work. They did not care at all to lose my business, in the time I was at reception complaining at least two other people came to complain aswell. The managers are very rude and closed minded.

Absolutely fantastic classic Paris Hotel. Original 1850’s decor, excellent service. We had a suite with a lot of room. Highly recommended to the travelers who demand service and luxury, you won’t be disappointed.

I don’t know that we will stay anywhere else in Paris. The hotel is perfection. Beautiful, welcoming, accommodating, well kept, great location and spacious. It may have ruined the rest of our stays throughout Europe as nothing compared. Merci Hotel Regina for helping make our trip to Paris a beautiful experience.

Amazing place! Elegant, classy and well located. The food is excellent. The whole atmosphere will make you feel welcomed. Service is outstanding, from the doorman to the bartender. Jordan and the staff are magnificent. If you can, avoid those overpriced cafes in downtown and dine at the Regina's Restaurant. Sacalops are a must. We visited the Restautan with our baby (1yr old) and the Regina's team did everything to make us feel very comfortable. We really appreciated it.

Lovely Hotel and not too big. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Rooms all very clean and comfortable. Superb location for walking to many of the sights and restaurants and cafes in abundance. We would definitely return to this delightful hotel 😊

The hotel is ok but not really a 5 star hotel. They do not have a 5 star restaurant but they do have a horrible bar that pretends to be one. We stayed at the Hotel Regina and went to dinner. Service to a long time, and when finally the hamburger arrived, it was raw. They could not make another one; they tried to stick it back together on the grill. Then they served us used bread that had been at another table. To top things off, they demanded we pay over 200 euros for this fiasco. Then the server told us to go away. I do not recomend this hotel.

On the 28/07 we asked for my 12y old doughter to use the toilet without bring guests of the hotel, the female conciërge complained and sent us out to try it somewhere else. This is not how you win new customers … sorry! Hopefully the service is better when you are a guest.

Simply put, this was the nicest hotel I've ever had the privilege to stay in. The room was spacious and well appointed with a great view of the Eifel Tower. The staff was very friendly and the lobby was amazingly beautiful, particularly as it was decorated for Christmas. The location was perfect for an infrequent visitor to Paris. Easy access to the Metro and so many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend.

I love this hotel. The art nouveau decor is meticulously preserved. Location is fantastic. We had a suite with the most unbelievable view of Paris. Two issues: the administration of the hotel is somewhat chaotic and led to serious delays in check-in. And although we had a very expensive room, the bathroom was beautiful but did not have any kind of shower door. Difficult to take a shower without getting water all over the floor. When they do upgrades in the future, they should put in walk-in showers.

Me and my wife have stayed here for 3 nights. It is very close to Muse de Louvre and other historical places (If wheather is good) Hotel is 122 years old and you feel history of french when you walk on coridors! Staff are amazing and very very clean rooms (I have never seen before) And especially we would like to say ''Merci to Mrs. Marlene who is responsible on the reception. She is so polite and helpful staff! Thanks you Regina Hotel!

I stayed at Hotel Regina During June 2022 and found the experience quintessentially French in every way you would want it to be. It was lovely in every way from the service, the styling, the history & location. Highly recommend it!

This 5 star family owned hotel has been my favorite in Paris. I have been to Paris perhaps 15 times and have stayed here 4 times, most recently in Feb/ 2022. The rooms and baths have been beautifully refurbished while the public rooms have been classically maintained. Front desk and concierge services get 6 Stars each. Will return

Really enjoyed my stay here. Me and my husband walked around everywhere and loved how central this hotel was. Highly recommend as we found this hotel was the best priced if we wanted an Eiffel Tower view! We had the suite and it was soo big and luxurious. Rooms are heritage style .. abit old but full of character! Highly recommend

Hotel Regina is one of our favourite hotels in Paris. The building has the romantic charms of Paris. Staff have been helpful during our 4 or 5 stays. Location wise, so central to everything. We were fortunate enough to have made our most recent visit just before the Covid pandemic hit.

😐 Granted, setting and mood are nice. Staff is, for the most part, friendly’ish. Food was average, in other words, rather disappointing.
