This is a gorgeous and wonderful hotel. They are a bit pushy about wanting to clean the room, even when I put the sign up asking them not to, but that is literally the only downside to this hotel. The breakfast is amazing, the staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious. It is also positioned in a perfect part of town, within walking distance of both The Eiffel Tower and The Louvre, among many other great attractions and shopping centers. I highly recommend coming here.

The one and only thing going for this hotel is location; all other aspects are poor. The room lighting was dim to almost dark with no way of adjusting the brightness, the air conditioning was set at one temperature with no way of adjusting it, the toilet is in a wooden box near the front door of the room. The one light in the toilet automatically turns off after a few seconds and to turn it back on one needs to wave the arms for movement. This room was the “upgraded” suite? The breakfast buffet was fine but for other dining times the menu is very minimal for choices of entree’s and the prices are high. We chose to eat meals at a nearby French style restaurant with excellent food and lower cost. This hotel is far from 4 or 5 stars. I have no desire to book this hotel again.

Just an amazing experience, we loved it. They made my birthday really special and were so kind at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We love this hotel, we come all the time.

The first thing that caught me was the hotel lobby. There were a window roof and very nice and helpful staff. As we had kids, the staff gave balloons to my toddler kid. The service the good, and requests were fulfilled very quickly (e.g towels, clean up). The view nearby is amazing, overlooking the Place de Concorde, American Embassy and the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph in the distance. The Metro Concorde station offered 3 lines, and you can reach all important landmarks within 0-2 interchanges. Overall, the experience is wonderful for us.

Wonderful hotel, great room, and the location was ideal! The beds were the most comfortable we have had in a very long time, and even the shoehorn was a pleasure to use. I would have liked to have been able to stream my Netflix or Disney Plus on the TV. The breakfast was superb as well.

This was my second time staying in this particular Sofitel and it was just as good as the first. Everything is lovely, from the time you check in to when you check out. The room I got this time was spacious - even had a mini balcony - and a great size bathroom with a big opening door to the outside. I found everything to be clean, elegant and comfortable. It's always a welcoming vibe here. It was just before Christmas season and one morning when we left for the day, the flowers in the lobby were as stunning and colourful as always, and by the time we got back in the early evening, everything was decorated so beautifully and festively for Christmas. It had such a cozy feel. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts at the buffet downstairs is so delicious, if not a teeny bit expensive. Overall, I'd recommend this location to anyone. It's right near Place du Concorde and Le Louvre and easy to get around from here. It will always be my go-to hotel in Paris.

Horrible experience, I was placed in a room on top of the kitchen. Smell was awful. Went to shower and found the entire bathroom full of mosquito and bugs I called the manager and they refused to move me claiming that the hotel was fully booked and they wanted me to wait for the next day to be moved. No apologies, no responsibility, and they basically did zero action to handle the situation. I can for sure say this is worse the Paris’s 1 star hotels.

Just leaving this wonderful hotel today. We stayed in adjoining rooms and the set up worked perfectly for a family of 4. The location is near high end shopping and very secure due to its proximity to Elysee Palace (the French Presidents residence). The staff was attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Would recommend to others and would absolutely stay here again

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of Paris. The rooms are so comfortable, and with a touch of French elegance in the decor. The staff is incredible, everyone is so helpful and always ready to help with anything. The restaurant is amazing as well

Fantastic experience with our grandson. The friendly hotel staff and especially Florencia from guest relations who treated us like family. Also special mention to Maria Jose, Luna and Elyas. Well located, secure and best of all superlative service

It’s a wonderful hotel with breathtaking views. Close to shopping and great food. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Eager to assist and goes over and beyond. Definitely a home away from home. It will be our residence when we return.

A very comfortable stay in Paris. I initially booked Quinzerie hotel in the 15th but decided to change very last minute as I wanted to visit major landmarks and do shopping. Although Quinzerie would have been amazing, I don’t regret my decision. I arrived 8am from my 14 hours flight and was allowed for an early check in without an extra charge. Room: a little dim with high ceilings. Not the best in sound proof. We could hear the guests in the next room from time to time but it was not a big deal and we weren’t bothered. Beds were so comfortable and I slept quite well. Decor and furnitures are dated and this is the only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. Bathroom: spacious, tub + shower together. Balmain amenities. Dyson hair dryer. Wardrobe: sliding door was a little weird and one of the drawers under the coffee machine didn’t slide in and out smoothly but didn’t affect our stay. Breakfast: small but good selection, attentive staffs. Location: great if it’s your first time in Paris as you will get to do a lot in walking distance (~30 minutes). Museums, major landmarks, department stores are all very accessible. On the same road along with Hotel de Crillion and few embassies. Very safe but be aware that the cab won’t be able to pass through the barricade without a hotel confirmation or proof in hand. I have shown my reservation confirmation emails to pass through the security on the day of arrival. During the stay, we got off from either place de la concorde or the check point (on the other side) to avoid hassle. You don’t need to walk too much from these two pick up points to get to the hotel so it won’t be a problem.

The Sofitel Paris le Faubourg was an amazing experience from the moment we arrived. Firstly, the central Paris location makes it easy to get anywhere. The room was nice and we had the best sleep in that comfy bed. The staff were incredible with every interaction we had and they went above and beyond and surprised us with champagne and treats after overhearing we were renewing our vows while checking in. It was the perfect place for our Parisian adventure!

Rooms: Comfortable, but the rooms are a little outdated and dark. The decor is a little boring, lots of black and white photographs, the carpets are ugly and clearly old.. and lots of scattered cheap looking mini chandeliers everywhere. In general the hotel is extremely dark, no windows really. The mini fridge was locked so unable to grab snacks / beverages which was extremely frustrating. The TV’s Chromecast didn’t work and no Netflix / basic streaming services. The bathroom door didn’t have a lock and our party booked four rooms for 7 days, and we all found the pillows uncomfortable and overly hard. Service: First evening we arrived our luggage was mixed up and sent to different rooms… I guess that happens, but it took a while to figure out the logistics of getting our luggage. The staff were all extremely friendly, however, other challenges we had included the fact that whenever we tried to call concierge / housekeeping / room service et cetera nobody really answered… Furthermore, the room service food was limited and the hours were really annoying. In the evenings we only had the options of pizza or soup. We also sent a few items of clothing for express laundry, annoyingly it was delayed and the service was extremely expensive - <100€… Also, housekeeping everyday walked into our room without knocking daily. The restaurant’s opening hours were really limited and frustrating, and when we tried to have a dinner in the restaurant we found the menu really limited and bland. When we left we requested a bellman to help us with our luggage, which unfortunately was not sent. ALSO, we wanted to head to a theme park, and the concierge helped us arrange tickets. But, he sold us extremely expensive standard tickets (double the price!) and told us that there was no fast track option - which unfortunately at the end of our day trip we discovered was not the case… consequently, this was extremely frustrating as we the experience was incorrectly advertised. Location: Really central and secure because the street is sectioned off because of the American Embassy so lots of security. We regularly bumped into celebrities on the street staying at the hotel opposite for PFW, so lots of exciting action and a central location. Lots of luxury shopping options and adjacent to the Place de la Concorde. I recommend this area!

Wonderful service. Always asked if I needed anything. Breakfast was great and the bed was like a cloud. I was there for business, but perfect location for sightseeing as well.

Front desk staff was friendly and accomodating. The room itself was well-equipped and all expected amenities were there. Was happy to see that shower gel and shampoo were in larger dispensers to reduce waste. The bed had a down mattress topper, which was very comfortable.

We had the pleasure of returning to this exquisite hotel, and once again, their hospitality left us speechless. From the moment we stepped through the doors, their warm welcome and attention to detail made us feel like cherished guests. The personalized service extended to every aspect of our stay, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. It's truly remarkable how they took time to personalized our suite with champagne, cake, and balloons to marked my mother's special milestone birthday. The ladies and gentlemen of Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg yet again went above and beyond in order to exceed our expectations and make our stay a memorable one. This hotel's staff continues to be the heart of its charm, making each visit an unforgettable experience. Kudos to the team for their marvelous job! We can't wait to come back!! Merci encore!

Best experience ever! I’m super happy I choose this hotel . The location is amazing. Everything is within walking distance. Service was above and beyond! The staff are super friendly and accommodating ( Especially Jessica who welcomed us every morning with a huge smile) Breakfast buffet is fantastic and the food we ordered one night from the room service was simply delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a luxury stay with affordable prices. Room was small like most hotel rooms in Paris - make sure to pack light :)

Excellent branded (but style is boutique) hotel in a nice central location for tourists. Easy access to many common attractions. Hotel is updated, clean and comfortable. Rooms are small, but this is to be expected in Paris its not Dallas.

I stayed here based on personal recommendations of prior guest who raved about their hotel stay here and they were absolutely correct! I had an amazing stay & my experience here was absolutely wonderful! The staff starting from Pauline to Cecile made sure to make this an unforgettable experience for me. Everyone from concierge (Amazing restaurant recommendations & insider site seeing tips), reception, to the restaurant did everything to accommodate everything I needed. The staff was very warm & welcoming. Everything I needed was a call or request away, with no request being too big or too small. They accommodated for everything! I brought my dog on his first trip to Paris & I don’t think he wanted to leave. They treated my puppy so well & that made me so happy! I highly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning here again soon. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. The staff made all the difference in my stay and I am very appreciative of the level of care, service, & attention to detail I received. A job well done. Tres bien! Merci Beaucoup!

This is the least desirable Sofitel have used. The deluxe rooms are anything but deluxe. You must crawl into the tub to take a shower and shower head is weak with little spray. The service is excellent, but the rooms are greatly lacking.

Had issue with the date of our reservation. Attempted to contact the hotel but they would not even contact us back and charged the entire room rate when we didn't even check in. Had vacancies for both nights. Staying at the much nicer Hotel Grand Powers where they treated us very well. Hope you enjoy our money!

Truly beautiful hotel, clearly a landmark. Beautifully built. Friendly staff. That said, our hotel room was small. Very small. Like one queen size bed with three feet on the left, 2 feet on the right, and about 6 feet from the end of the bed to the wall (with the slanted ceiling on top). With tiny windows that you have to get on your toes to see out of. With the slanted ceiling any person above 170 CM would bump their head if not careful. Make sure you’re not on the 6th floor. The water in the bathroom (which is beautiful, and in our case bigger than the bedroom) oscillated between freezing cold and scalding hot. The turn down person sometimes came, sometimes did not, sometimes brought tea, sometimes brought nothing. My recommendation is - for the price, find a local smaller hotel with more of a focus on service.

Arrived yesterday morning on the 29th, and have received excellent service from everyone here. Beautiful room, very comfortable bed. My wife and I are staying here for 10 days. I will update this review at the end of our stay. As f today 5 stars+

Sofitel doesn’t disappoint. Right in the centre of Paris, a few steps away from the main fashion designer shops and some of the main attractions (Concorde is 200 metres away), you find this discreet luxury hotel, in a very quiet street, closed to transit (the USA Embassy is in the same street). The decor by Didier Gomez is inspired by the Parisian fashion atmosphere. Rooms are kind of small, but that’s Paris. Delicious breakfast.

  • 5/5 Matthew M. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent hotel. Fantastic location. Rooms are elegant, slightly smaller than you'd expect (but it's Paris!) and the high ceilings and wonderful floor to ceiling windows make up for it. The greatest highlight, according to my wife, was the bed. Perhaps the comfiest we've ever experienced. Sofitel does this better than anyone. If you're going to shop or hit up the museums, you couldn't find a better spot on this side of the Seine

Excellent location! You won’t get safer hotel anywhere in Paris as the area is adjacent to many embassies. The road is fully barricaded and checked by the police. It is centrally located to get to great restaurants and shopping paradise. The room is elegant, comfortable, and has full amenities with the classic Parisian room size and bed size to match. The service is efficient. It has a little cute gym with sauna too.

I wish I could give 7 stars!!! What an experience! Thank you so much Madame Sabrina Ben Salem for making our stay so special; my husband and I went to Paris for a mini moon after our wedding; and we we arrived to our room we had balloons; champagne… even pictures of us!!! INCREDIBLE AND SO SPECIAL Everyone was helpful and friendly Great location; on a private road; so we could park our car just in front of the hotel!!! Can’t wait to be back!!!!

I don’t believe our stay could have been better. The hotel’s location was in walking distance of the incredible shopping and dining in Paris. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. I have never had this type of experience anywhere! BTW, the breakfast was amazing. My family and I couldn’t wait to get up in the morning to enjoy the fabulous food and engage with your waiting staff. Thank you for a job well done!

Everything about this hotel is fabulous. The staff are attentive and within a day or two are referring to us by our names!! They really understand customer satisfaction! From the reservations team, the valet, front desk, Blossoms breakfast team to the first class Concierge team. Antonio and his excellent team have arranged some wonderful day trips, museum passes as well as the best restaurant reservation. Wow.
