Pros: Nice spacious hotel. Very quite. Good indoor pool. Good gym. Every day room cleaning. Friendly staff. Ok location for travellers by car. Cons: Not very much child friendly, no playgrounds, no entertainment, some dangerous places for small kids( e.g. sharp corner in outdoor pool). No good outdoor pool for children. Not everything cleaned perfectly, some spider net on the lamp in our room. Price is not cheap, but sauna is not included, which is usually included in other hotels. Hotel visitors are mainly people 60+. City center is 20 min walk, in close proximity almost no restaurants or anything.

Beautiful hotel, with outstanding features (swimming pools, spa, paddle court...). Great place for us to stay and rest when driving across Italy. The restaurant was also excellent with great dishes. I would have enjoyed a bit more info when I checked-in to better understand what the hotel had to offer, but I obviously find out by myself. Overall, I can only recommend this excellent hotel!!

We only dined at the restaurant. Despite the prices being higher than average, the food was good and the service, at first a bit stand-offish, improved throughout the meal. Both dishes arrived quickly and were well-made. I'd return here but next time I'd combine it with a stay at the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, which was once a monastery, just outside the old town of Gubbio. Walking to the center of Gubbio took only 10 minutes. The hotel has a lot of parking and is easy to reach from the main roads. The restaurant is excellent. They serve specialties from the region. I had two dinners and a lunch here. Service is professional and friendly. The 25 meter swimming is unusual in Italy and I enjoyed doing laps in the afternoon after a long walk. There is a spa which offers massages and facials. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Hotel dei Cappuccini is situated in a green environment a short distance from the historical center of Gubbio. It offers a pleasant accommodation for those who want to experience the spirit of past centuries, but at the same time enjoy a high level of comfort. The building is a large former convent converted to a 4 star hotel which is tastefully decorated and hosts many works of art. The reception personnel are professional and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and well kept. The area is surrounded by trees and somewhat hidden from busy roads, assuring a very quiet stay. The silence at night is indeed very pleasant. A walk to town takes about 25 minutes and is recommended to those who like to walk but it is also easily reached by car in about 5 minutes with ample free parking. There is a lovely Spa, nice restaurant and tennis court. On site parking is available and easy.

Awesome location, gorgeous and helpful people, great restaurant. The circumstances of our visit to Gubbio were not so pleasant, but all the support we received in this hotel from everyone made our stay an extremely positive experience. The overall impression is way better than in any of Hilton hotels I've been to, for example. Totally recommended - will get back there for sure in a planned manner next time.

Very unprofessional! I was booking a room in the old part pf the monastery and i came there in the reception toncheck the rooms and the staff showed me the room and told me are available. I called the call center to male a reservation and they told me th rooms are not available without explain me the reasons. They suggested me to book the room on new part. Very I professional and I’m asking woth on the web you offer available rooms on old cloister monastery area and the when you call for a reservation you negate that.

This place is more than 5 stars. I have seen so kind, caring and helpful people for the first time, also I travel a lot for work. We have got in very unpleasant situation, got into a car accident and had to find a place to stay. Hotel was open no matter the late hour, answer immediately, found a taxi for us at night, booked everything just by phone. Found some food even though restaurant was already closed! They were keeping a room for us as long as we needed, helped with translation with car company that had our broken car. Awesome! The room had everything that’s needed, food is great, place is itself is cool, it’s very old building and it has its feeling and nature + all needed to be in comfort inside. Has even the charges for electro car. We will definitely be back there when we have a chance to travel to Italy again!

We were overwhelmed by the hotel. Period, Full stop, The room was large, comfortable and well furnished and the bathroom was the best we experienced during our two-week Umbrian sojourn. The spa, pool and gym facilities are astonishing! We devoured two wonderful meals with "curated" wines provided by the excellent wait-staff.
