Wonderful place. Brand new. Everyone was very nice. Apartment was comfortable. Central air conditioning is not installed yet so it was very hot, but hopefully that will get fixed soon. Views are amazing, plenty of room for the few guests. Food was great. Snacks and drinks delivered by surprise to pool was great. Toured wine making facilities, wine was good. Close to town but up in the hills with awesome views of vineyards and mountains. Staff is super helpful and attentive.

A wonderful place to stay, very friendly, almost felt like home. Our daughter (at that point 8 months) was welcomed so perfectly that we were really sad to leave. She even got a present. Thanks for our first perfect family vacation, we‘ll definitely return. A special thanks to Greta, the heart of the kitchen with her wonderful food and daily smile.

Nice place with amazing landscape, warm welcome and great wellness area. Moreover rooms are nicely appointed and very confortables and moderns. The small size of the hotel and the kindly welcome of the staff give you the feeling to be at home and even more. Definitively a great and unusual place compared with traditionnel hotels with the same standing.

Wow, we had a fantastic stay here in Verdicchio land. The view was gorgeous, the rooms were sparkling clean, comfortable, and very spacious. Everything seemed very new. And then there was the incredible spa that felt private because we were the only ones there. Lastly the Verdicchio wine made by the property was a huge hit with our group. Loved everything, thank you!

Tenuta Grimaldi is in a beautiful relaxing setting. The pool is stunning and the rooms are very comfortable - feels like your own little suite. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious too! I highly recommend.

Die Tenuta Grimaldi ist ein wirklich wunderschöner Ort. Es war unser Hide-Away 2022 und wir verbrachten im Sommer mit unserem 5. Jährigen Sohn eine wundervolle Woche in einer Suite. Greta, Marco und Titziana füllen den Ort mit Freundlichkeit und Liebe. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Man hat einen tollen Pool in traumhafter Umgebung. Alle waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war wundervoll. Unser Highlight die selbstgemachten Kuchen, die täglich frisch am Frühstücksbuffet zu finden waren. Wer möchte konnte für Mittags, für einen sehr fairen Preis, eine tolle Pasta mit Salat oder Früchten bestellen, die immer frisch zubereitet wurde. Wir hatten eine Weinprobe mit Biowein, der in der Tenuta produziert wird und für die Gegend sehr bekannt ist. Das Panorama war ein Traum - wir sind große Fans der Marken. Die Tenuta Grimaldi liegt wenige Kilometer vom nächsten Ort und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und typisch italienischen Städte sind gut zu erreichen. Entspannung pur! Ich kann mich nicht oft genug bedanken für den tolle Aufenthalt. Wir sind mit einem weinenden Auge gefahren, reich mit tollen Erlebnissen, gutem Wein und der Bekanntschaft mit sehr liebevollen und sehr aufmerksamen Menschen die die Tenuta Grimaldi zu dem machen was sie ist. We spent 3 days in June at the lovely Tenuta Grimaldi. Right after Booking Tiziana reached out and let us know that we can ask her any questions we might have. The property is well-kept, very beautiful and new. The room was clean with modern furniture and a high-grade bathroom. Greta made a lovely welcome Aperitivo and the best breakfast every morning. It was always something else and she took great care of us! We felt like being with family because of the warm nature of everyone working with Tenuta Grimaldi. The wine was the cherry on top, very refreshing summer wine (Verdicchio). The town of Matelica is a lovely small town with plenty restaurant and cafe-options. The Winery sits on top of the city (approx. 5-10 minutes drive) and is far enough away from everything to feel like being in the middle of nowhere. We will definitely come back and recommend this place very much. So much love has been put into this accommodation and you can feel it.
