👍👍 Absolutely fantastic scenery! Go prepared if you want to hike through the waterfalls- good shoes that can get wet and be prepared to do some serious climbing up or down the waterfall if you choose that route. We typically hike up the hill on the left side when facing the gully from the parking lot.... People often mention hike, waterfall,

Absolutely fantastic scenery! Go prepared if you want to hike through the waterfalls- good shoes that can get wet and be prepared to do some serious climbing up or down the waterfall if you choose that route. We typically hike up the hill on the left side when facing the gully from the parking lot. Then, when it's possible, we go down into the creek bed and climb down through the river. It's an awesome but challenging height!

This is a fantastic park. You have two choices of trails: if there is no water, you can walk along the river and go upstream to the grand waterfall. You'll have to jump between rocks, balance on logs, and shimmy up small cliffs. It's like a jungle gym. Very fun, but you'll need good balance and flexibility. Prepare to get a bit wet. Warning: once you get to the waterfall, you'll have to climb up the cliff on the right of the waterfall in order to get on the trail back. It's very high and very steep. Going back downstream is not recommended at all. Your other options is to go up on some gravel and dirt trails. It's less interesting, but more easier, a nice woodland forest (great when the color change occurs), and gives you amazing vistas of the bowl like cliffs. But in my opinion, being inside the "bowl" is so much more fun. You get get to the first one pretty easily, and then you can turn back. However, if you want a bigger challenge, you can go upstream the second on and even get to the waterfall at the end.

5 five stars. Keep it clean. That means YOU baby diaper slobs and soda bottle knobs. It's close to my house so me and the dog are here frequently.

The 12 falls trail is fairly challenging. Most of the hike is upstream through the creek itself. There are several 20'+ waterfalls you'll need to climb, one has a rope to assist the ascent up a crumbling shale rock face. Lots of fun, especially on a hot day. Be prepared for slippery and muddy conditions and to get wet. Once at the top, you have the option to join the trails alongside the gully to return, or to climb back down the waterfalls, which tends to be a bit trickier than climbing up. The creek runs higher in the spring and after rains and much lower during the heat of summer, though I've never seen the waterfalls themselves dry.

Great hike. The beginning from where I parked was straight up hill so definitely prepare for that. The view is amazing and would also be a good spot to stop and eat lunch. Would definitely recommend and will hike there again.

Really fun hike. Took the family. There were a few challenging spots for some hikers. We made it through with everyone who came with us. And a few more that we helped along the way. A few fun rock that we slide down on purpose. Pretty awesome.

Beautiful hike. Can be a little challenging at parts, definitely areas you can expect to get your feet wet depending on water level. But a lot of fun. Very basic climbs, some areas with ropes tied off for assistance in climbing more steep areas, and the waterfall at the end is a great place to eat your lunch after your climb. There's a bridge that leads you towards the High Tor, which is probably an easier way back to the beginning than going back down through the gully.

Great place for hiking! Our group hiked up the river to the top where we came back down by the trail.

Beautiful views, and on a hot day it's great to hike up the creek, but be careful not to slip on the slate. If you want to go all the way to the top there are areas where you'll have to pull yourself up by rope.

Really nice hike, start was straight uphill. We did the Rim trail and Parish rd. Saturday mid day 4/16/22 road was really busy there then that was a good hike.
