Stadium
built
at
the
end
of
the
sixties
and
for
the
following
seventies
it
was
considered
the
second
stadium
in
Campania
after
the
San
Paolo
in
Naples.
As
the
years
went
by
it
became
more
and
more
in
decline.
Never
a
total
renovation
but
only
partial
and
limited
to
sectors.
Built
with
5
well-defined
sectors
(curved,
distinct,
open
grandstand
and
covered
grandstand)
and
after
the
addition
of
two
covered
lateral
stands
(early
1980s),
shameful
mini-sectors
were
created
both
in
the
curves
and
in
the
distinct
ones,
creating
so-called
"cages
"bad
to
look
at.
Furthermore,
while
in
other
stadiums
around
the
world
the
railings
between
the
public
and
the
playing
field
were
removed,
at
the
"Simonetta
Lamberti"
this
havoc
was
increased,
giving
the
impression
of
being
in
Auschwitz
with
railings,
protective
nets
and
mini
sectors.
.
Another
havoc
is
the
replacement
of
the
light
towers
for
lighting,
in
fact
to
install
the
new
light
towers
it
was
not
only
necessary
to
ruin
one
side
of
the
South
curve,
but
then
they
had
to
remove
all
the
old
ones,
but
what!!
Now
the
stadium
has
6
light
towers,
4
working
and
2
not.
Ridiculous
approximation
of
who
authorized
and
permitted
the
works
in
this
sense.
Finally,
the
last
improvement
works
carried
out
were
the
installation
of
seats
in
the
two
side
stands,
central
stand,
open
stand
and
in
part
the
separate
stands.
Believe
me
but
seeing
those
little
seats
behind
2
meters
of
railings
makes
your
heart
cry.
Without
wanting
to
mention
those
who
buy
the
ticket
and
have
to
watch
the
match
sitting
in
the
front
row
with
those
railings
in
front,
indecorous
both
for
the
owner
of
that
seat
but
above
all
for
those
who
to
date
do
nothing
to
remedy
this
inconvenience.
From
the
second
stage
of
Campania
in
the
seventies
it
is
currently
not
really
classifiable.
In
2019,
with
the
occasion
of
the
Universiade
in
Campania,
there
was
a
total
renovation
of
all
the
stadiums
and
structures
hosting
these
games
throughout
Campania
(see
the
renovations
of
the
San
Paolo,
the
Arechi
stadium,
the
Torre,
etc.
)
only
in
Cava
was
it
not
possible
to
take
advantage
of
this
opportunity.
I
don't
know
if
it's
the
fault
of
the
municipal
administration
or
whoever
but
the
fact
is
this.
Obviously
the
blame
for
this
degradation
cannot
be
attributed
only
to
the
last
municipal
administration
but
to
all
those
that
succeeded
over
time
that
led
to
this
massacre.
It's
truly
a
shame
that
a
glorious
stadium
full
of
history
(and
I'm
not
here
to
list
the
sporting
and
musical
events
it
has
hosted)
is
reduced
to
this
condition!!
But
when
municipal
administrations
are
unable
to
assume
responsibility,
here
are
the
results.
Shame!!!
I
came
back
after
a
few
months,
nothing
has
changed!!
The
havoc
and
shame
remains
intact!!
