Absolutely fantastic place for those enjoying wild nature and hot springs. Arrived late afternoon, spent a few hours there and left after sunset. Some people were still coming during dark hours, although it was not easy to walk along springs as there are no lights and path is quite rocky. Anyway, it was great attraction to conclude the day in Tuscany - we loved it!

We came for the hot springs and we got it big time!!! It was real good. You have to come here in middle of the week and not in holidays, cause it's can be overcrowded easily. Like many say before, you don't have changing rooms. WC(chemical) you have just in beginning of the trail to the springs. The parking is not expensive, and really close to the area.

One of my favorite sites in Tuscany, the “White Whale” definitely lived up to the hype. I would 100% recommend this site for anyone traveling in the area or even if you have to come from far as it is definitely worth the travel. We spent a few hours here and swam in many different pools ranging in temperature from around 20*c to around 40*c. Reading about this site before visiting stated there was a strong sulfur smell at this site but we found it to be quite mild and not off putting. Would highly recommend wearing shoes on your walk down to the pools and don’t forget a towel. Also noting the parking fee as well.

It's a unique place but a bit overrun with tourists plus you pay 1 euro entrance and an additional euro for a bracelet you have to wear. We figured we could give the bracelet back and possibly get a refund but they don't do that. So for every tourist going in one bracelet goes in the trash. A waste for the environment.

I was disappointed, have been in better hot springs in Italy. The water was not as hot as I would have preferred, and there were too many people. Saturnia is a much better hot spring, but if you only have time to visit this hot spring then it is ok. Ok not great. I think it is better to come on a week day, and not on a Sunday like we did.

Amazing views and warm springs. Going in Autumn worked well, especially going midweek rather the weekend. Stayed 1.5hrs, came out feeling super soft! Remember to take decent footwear to make your way there and you'll have a great time 👌🏻

Beautiful place. Although they are charging tickets not sure why since the place is not that well maintained

This is a nice stop for an hour or two of relaxing in the many thermal pools. We visited in the off-season mid week, in late Sept, and still found little parking available. The parking alongside the road is metered, so have cash or credit for your ticket, which can be set by the hour. The White-Whale is a moderately easy 300-meter path from the road. There are Porta potties but no place to change clothes. The nearby village has many small charming restaurants. This is worth the visit as you travel through Italy.
