A quite incredible experience. I had driven past this restaurant for three years, and promised myself I would visit. It was absolutely worth the wait. No menu is presented to diners. Instead, you are seated at your table, already adorned with a vast and plentiful selection of antipasti of all types: pickles, meats, vegetables, salad, pasta, bread etc. Pasta can be enjoyed for main course, but the restaurant is famous for its meat. I enjoy steak, and have had many good ones in the past, but nothing compares to the steak we enjoyed here. It is absolutely the finest steak I have ever eaten. So tender and full of flavour. My Italian is extremely lacking, but I believe everything is made on the premises, which adds to the appeal no end. The toilet is put the back of the restaurant, and attached to the house. The owner and his family are very, very welcoming and clearly very proud of their restaurant. They are happy to talk, and welcome children. The setting is one of the finest locations in all of Tuscany. 5 star reviews are rare, and I personally only give them to places which really have gone way beyond anything I expected. Antica Osteria Di Nandone is worthy. Deep pockets needed for the steak, but make the trip. Incredible. Authentic. Delightful.

Well, only for meat lovers. Delicious meats and amazing appetisers, incredible locally made desserts. An experience, maybe not for everyone.

Sometimes you have an experience that is totally out of the ordinary. Antics Osteria do Nandone is amazing. It is a fourth generation restaurant and it is a gem. The food is great and the atmosphere is unique. You only have to decide what dessert you want and if the suggested amount of T-bone steak is enough. No need to visit if you don’t like meat - for everyone else it is a must do experience! Thank you so much for lovely evening.

The most amazing florentine steak we had amongst our 3 bistecca meals in Tuscany (trattoria Mario, oosterio Magona were the other two). The host hospitality really made us feel welcomed - we were about an hour early from our dinner appt at 7pm (the drive our accommodation was 45mins!) and the host was very amicable to lead us to our dinner table, all preset with delicious anti pasti ranging from pate bread, olives, vinegared garlic, onion, all were delicious especially the smoked pork belly 😋 and mixed beef stew 😋 😋 😋. We should have paced ourselves better as by the time the Bistecca arrived we were truly stuffed. Yet we could not resist the steak. The meat melt in mouth, tender and so flavorful while having slow fired charcoal charred crisp on the fat...truly amazing!

There is a fixed menu local antipasti Wine and a very tasty bisteca , The owner is very kind, the restaurant is full with local people. The desserts are also nice. If you like meat go there. Don’t hesitate.

One of my 3 favourite steak places in the world! The place and its owners are super charming, it's a cosy and small place that needs booking way in advance, and the food is absolutely fantastic. We try to go every time we're in Tuscany.

Amazing Fiorentina. Don’t order don’t look at the menu. Just go there and say I am here to eat, Paolo will do the rest. Tarta Della Nonna… And the Home made Grappa ( la benzina ) it’s a must to finish with… take a taxi don’t Drink and Drive

Truly amazing traditional Florentine steak that should be all you need to know. However, this larger than life generational man, chef, owner and at the end friend puts out a spread before and after that cannot be described. Unbelievable; just believe me and go!!
