We had such a great time on Etna! We climbed up with very knowledgeable geologist and guide Lucca. Everything was really well organized with communication; they lend hiking shoes and on the way up in the cable car you can even rent a big coat for 5€ which was perfect for the sunny but snowy day! The hike itself is lovely, good form is better especially for the way down which can be a bit tough on the knees A must do!

The guides are really prepared and keen to share their knowledge. It's been one of the most unique experience we did during our Sicilian trip.

The guide was very pleasant, take us out of tourist route. We even have possibility to see snow… Guide used simple language to explain everything that happens on Etna, and his English was really good, which is not so common when we talk about Italians

I had a wonderful experience going around Mount Etna wirh stunning views. Guessipe our guide was very insightful tour of the volcano, by including the history and geography of the the volcano. I did feel that at times the pace of the guide was quite fast. It would have been helpful to get timely updates of the tours progress. Thank you for an amazing day!!! :)

Totally recommended. Super hike with our mountain guide Giuseppe. He was knowledgeable, took us on a great route, and at a good pace. Excellent way to get a real experience of Etna.

Definitely on the top of the list of things to do in Sicily. We were so happy to be able to do the walk given the recent eruption. We really didn't know what to expect - they communicated the day before the walk, lent us any gear we didn't have, the guide was great and kept a lovely steady pace and taught us to run down the hill of cinders - great fun! He also explained all about how volcanoes 'work'. Must do.

It was a challenging hike but Giuseppe-mountain guide made sure we were well prepared. I’d recommend wearing pants/leggings -clothing that is light in weight layering it up. Hiking up the mountain it was very hot. Once we were closer to the top a thunderstorm / hailstorm began and temps dropped.
