After
a
weekend
of
unusual
lethargy
and
total
lack
of
appetite,
I
deliver
our
7-month-old
cat
to
the
clinic
for
a
check-up.
Visually
it
didn't
look
good,
and
the
conditions
immediately
appeared
critical.
Once
blood
tests
have
been
carried
out,
parvovirus
is
diagnosed.
Among
other
things,
the
presence
of
roundworms
in
the
stomach
is
highlighted.
The
values
of
the
immune
defenses
are
zero
and
so
are
the
hopes.
However,
after
a
few
days
of
hospitalization
and
with
the
help
of
generous
supportive
therapy,
our
cat
recovered
and
gradually
began
to
eat.
A
few
weeks
after
the
incident,
the
cat
completely
resumed
her
normality
and
daily
routines,
confirming
her
successful
recovery.
I
thank
the
Serraglio
Veterinary
Clinic
for
the
timeliness
with
which
they
identified
and
treated
the
infection
in
our
cat,
allowing
us
to
still
be
able
to
cuddle
her
in
our
home.
I
also
thank
you
for
the
immense
availability
on
the
telephone,
which
we
found
every
day
in
asking
for
information
on
the
evolution
of
the
situation,
truly
kind
and
helpful.
