This place was absolutely amazing. We got complimentary Prosecco and an appetizer. The staff was super attentive and helpful. Both pastas we ordered were to die for. I had the gnocchi with tuna which was PERFECT. The bread was great to dip in the pasta sauce. My plate was left clean! My husband ordered the pappardelle al sugo di cinghiale. Would definitely go back! Make reservations just to avoid waiting. We were able to make reservation the day of.

This restaurant was incredible! We entered the cozy underground dining space after passing by the wine window. We were treated to a welcome prosecco and an appetiser of pappa al pomodoro. We had pici of cacio e pepe (an off menu item that I requested) and pappardelle de cinghale (wild boar) for our first dishes, which are amongst the best pastas we’ve had in our 10 day Italy trip. Also split a main and an apple pie for dessert. Service, food, presentation all impeccable. Loved it. More people should visit!

What a find in Florence! There is a cute little wine window in front of the restaurant where you can order a glass of wine and drink it while hanging out on the sidewalk. But don’t miss out on the wonderful food in the basement restaurant below. It is fantastic and a great value and the service was friendly and attentive. We were served a complimentary glass of Prosecco and a small appetizer in addition to our order. Homemade Pasta and a great steak for me and my wife enjoyed a generous salad with mozzarella cheese that was delicious. The waitresses were charming and the food excellent. Highly recommend.

Nice cozy restaurant with great food and welcoming service. We got welcomed by a complimentary Prosecco glass and a dish of pappa al pomodoro which was very tasty. We ordered the wild ragù pasta and the tagliata and both were a success. Especially the tagliata, costing only 22 euro was a great deal and the meat was tender and juicy.

Urgh, I really enjoyed my food here - especially, the gnudi, the spicy tomato spaghetti dish, and the artichoke with parmesan cream. I love both pappa pomodoro and prosecco so that offered on the house was an appreciated gesture. Unfortunately, they have a SEVERE fruit fly infestation which they were incredibly cavalier about. The waitress basically shrugged and said "yes, it is always like this". The other side of the restaurant - which was empty except for one table - did not seem to be suffering through swatting away at flies in between bites and trying to keep them out of their glasses of wine. Knowing that fruit flies come from rotting food and poor sanitary and food safety conditions really dampered the experience for us all. Good food but at what cost.

We made a reservation here, it’s a “back alley” and downstairs (basement) and DO GO! It was fabulous! Excellent service, food, atmosphere. We already have another reservation!

Amazing experience, best meal since long time. Service was excellent, I asked some recommendations and everything was delicious. Must try the mascarpone with strawberry and amaretto!

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere, the service staff were very friendly and attentive. We received a glass of prosecco and bread with tomato dip on the house which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend, thank you for a fantastic dinner!

This was the best meal we had in Florence! We initially stopped by the wine window and then decided to try the restaurant below. They provided a welcome glass of Prosecco and a starter that was similar to eggplant parmigiana. Both delish. We then ordered the main 800g steak dish after seeing how good it looked when someone else ordered. We also got risotto, tiramisu and the mascarpone biscuit dessert with strawberries and of course, red wine. Everything was soooo tasty. Highly recommend

My wife and I were walking around Florence, and we came across their wine window with tables outside. We asked to eat but the restaurant is downstairs. We decided to go and eat. It was such a pleasant surprise! I hate tomatoes in most of my meals, but Debra (our waiter) brought us a small appatiser that is tomato base "soup." F-%÷* it was amazing, I legit cleaned it with the bread. The combination was crazy. My wife (from New Jersey) was mind blown cause she's never had something like that before. Again, I hate tomatoes. I ordered the Gnocchi with Tuna! Yes, with tuna. Amazing surprise that I've never come across. Debra was amazing, and the atmosphere was very intimate. 10/10

Great food and excellent service. We started with a wine from the wine window and then stayed for dinner. Highly recommend this place.
