We came here after seeing a high review, however our experience was below 5 by just a few. Staff is kind and you can sit outside, food is okay and you can tell they tried. We had pasta and beef, which actually matched the brief, but there was something missing can’t find a relief, might be a unlucky day is what I want to believe.

The food was so delicious! If you are visiting Catania definitely check it out, they have a lot to offer, different combinations of the food. The service was okay, it was a little weird sometimes and we had to wait a long time till someone showed up, but on the other hand they had a full house and still managed to sit us at a table so I cannot complain. Highly recommend this place! Delicious!

This is one of the best restaurants in catania. You have to reserve a table in advance. The restaurant is run by women and is therefore very well organized. Every dish is made with love. I recommend the “Castello” dish with truffles. The desserts are also very delicate and should definitely be tried.

I came with really high expectations based on the reviews but unfortunately felt very let down by the whole experience. Despite having a pram (and there being free tables at ground level) we were told we had to be sat at a table upstairs, then we waited half an hour for someone to take our order (which was taken incorrectly). The potato croquettes sounded great on the menu but just tasted of salt to me, the walnut and truffle pasta didn’t seem to taste of much at all. I understand the place was very busy but I definitely felt that we had better food, service and atmosphere at other places during our trip.

We had a great dinner, very nice and friendly service. The dishes were delicious and we didn't have to wait for long. One star minus for the expensive kids pasta for a 3 year old. Just maybe 15 noodles with tomato sauce for 10€+2€ coperto is really not okay and it is a pity this downsizes the otherwise excellent experience. We realized it later and couldn't ask but anyway this just shouldn't happen :)

Excellent on every aspect. I was very happy to be able to book seating online for this restaurant for the same day from Google. It is rated the second best in Catania for pasta, I was not disappointed at all, I would put it in 1st place. We were served quickly, and with an excellent service from all the staff, it is good to know it is a family business. Pasta was heavily, and the portions are just right. I also had a nice cream dessert. The atmosphere is romantic, inside you find a classic look, and outside there is a bridge that has views of theatre ruins, simply incredible. Will go again. It is an experience, not just dinner.

Loved this place! We were lucky to get a table early because the line ups were quite long shortly after we sat down. Everything we ordered was delicious. The cold cut and cheese platter, mushroom pasta and chicken burger. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

I had a wonderful experience at Deliziosa, a cozy and elegant restaurant in the heart of Catania. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxing and romantic. I ordered the pasta dish called “Duomo”, which was a delicious combination of fresh seafood, cherry tomatoes, basil and garlic. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The portion was generous and satisfying. The seafood was fresh and tender, and the cherry tomatoes added a nice touch of sweetness and acidity. The basil and garlic gave the dish a fragrant and savory aroma. I enjoyed every bite of this dish and I was very impressed by the quality and taste. We had a complete meal in this good restaurant in the centre of Catania. I was really impressed by "bruschette alla norma", a very simple and delicious starter. Pasta was good but not impressive. Tasty the meat. Disappointed that it was not offered any complimentary drink/sweet at the end of the meal.

Cute, flavoursome and modest. It's reasonably priced and honest. They state on the menu they may use frozen fish if unable to obtain fresh, and I appreciated the transparency. If you're looking for somewhere wholesome, tasty but on a budget, this is definitely the place.

Food here was seriously phenomenal. We’re both vegetarian so options can sometimes be limited. We had the pasta alla norma and another dish I can’t recall (sorry), as well as the eggplant parm to start. Probably among the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had after 5 trips to Italy this year alone. Seriously bravo!

My companion and I booked a table for dinner as it was a special night out. The sharing platter for two was delicious and plentiful. We waited for over an hour for the main course and it only arrived after we prompted the server - who explained that they were short-staffed. My seafood dish was cold. I was told that it could be re-heated which I obviously refused. I was not offered an alternative so I ended up without a main meal. When the bill was presented the manager insisted that we pay for my cold, uneaten seafood dish. After a lot of arguing we did not pay for it. Very disappointed, a very long wait with no meal at the end. It was not a special night, I went back to my apartment feeling hungry and very disappointed. I would not go back or recommend this restaurant to anyone else. Can I be clear that the meal was not consumed - what was consumed was the first taste which told me that the meal was not fit to eat. That was hardly surprising given that the meal had evidently been prepared and waiting for nearly an hour before we saw it. The upshot of all this was that my companion and I were prevented from having our meal together: for that reason, although I consider the eventual settlement fair in so far as I did not pay for one failed dish, my honest view is that I would have been perfectly entitled to refuse to pay anything at all since our evening was ruined by carelessness in the delivery.

Amazing wine and food as well. Definitely try pasta with pistachio cream and the one with swordfish. The waiters were really friendly and the food came very quickly. Definitely worth it.

This is by far my favourite restaurant in Catania. We tried vegetarian dishes and everything was delicious. Service and atmosphere is as good as the food. And the deserts, wine, and beer are amazing too. We spent 20-30 EUR per person and had starters, main, dessert, beer, wine - it is very affordable for such a good quality. Overall a must try while in Catania!

That was one of the best pasta, that i have ever eaten! Fresh tasty ingredients, with all flavours connecting great. Seafood pesto pasta was top notch, my girfriend mushroom pasta was little bit worse but still very good. Definetely this is must have place to eat, when you are in Catania!

Great restaurant close to the Via Etnea. The people working there were great and the food was delicious. Would gladly come back!

Wow.. This was insanely delicious! We ordered the parmesan eggplant, octopus skewers, second course swordfish, salad with shrimp, lots of local wines available by glasses .. Mmm... traditional products and dishes with a chef's twist. Fresh products properly cooked and insanely well flavoured, a modern take on Palermitan cuisine and products. Hands down the best dinner we've had in both Palermo and Catania during the whole week.

This restaurant totally lives up to its name. We loved everything we had - appetizer, pasta dishes and dessert! Absolutely yummy. Atmosphere was great too - Interieur and decoration is pretty and the way the food is served is special as well. Service was very attentive and friendly and she recommended a perfect wine for us. All in all perfect value for money! We couldn't have chosen a better place for our last night in Sicily!

Great experience here. We had an amazing long dinner where everything was just right. From the service, to the cozy atmosphere, no rush throught the dinner and between plates. Just perfect. And the food...where to start :) . It was absolutly delicious. We had the baked potatoes with pistachio cream ( MUST try), La caponata also the pasta with pistachio cream (again, you must try) and another type of pasta! Excellent food! Best we had till now in Catania! Bravos to them!
