Upon
first
impression,
Hotel
Cala
Moresca
is
undeniably
captivating.
The
property
itself
exudes
a
charming
aura
that
resonates
well
with
its
lovely
surroundings.
Our
stay
in
a
sea
view
room
further
accentuated
the
beauty
of
this
place;
it
was
recently
renovated,
boasting
a
fresh,
modern
feel,
all
while
offering
awe-inspiring
views
of
the
azure
sea.
The
logistical
aspect
does
pose
a
bit
of
a
challenge.
The
hotel's
secluded
location
makes
it
imperative
to
have
a
car.
However,
our
experience
was
marred
by
a
couple
of
significant
oversights
on
the
hotel's
part.
It
was
disheartening
to
find
the
hotel
facilities
being
dominated
by
weddings
on
both
days
of
our
stay.
This
meant
that
facilities
like
the
bar
and
restaurant
were
closed
off,
depriving
us
of
the
experience
we
had
anticipated.
Walking
through
the
hotel,
we
often
felt
like
intruders
upon
these
private
events,
a
sentiment
echoed
by
the
staff's
approach
in
ushering
us
away.
To
add
to
our
dismay,
no
apologies
were
offered
or
compensation
proposed
for
the
inconveniences
we
faced.
This
lack
of
acknowledgment
only
added
to
the
disappointment.
One
silver
lining
during
our
stay
was
the
consistent
friendliness
of
the
staff.
Despite
the
evident
strain
of
catering
to
both
hotel
guests
and
wedding
parties
simultaneously,
they
were
very
friendly.
What's
even
more
concerning
is
that
this
doesn't
seem
to
be
an
isolated
incident.
Reading
reviews
on
here
shows
a
pattern,
suggesting
that
Hotel
Cala
Moresca
frequently
hosts
weddings,
often
at
the
expense
of
their
regular
guests'
comfort
and
experience.
This
overlap
leads
me
to
question
the
establishment's
primary
focus.
Management
ought
to
seriously
consider
whether
they
aspire
to
primarily
be
a
wedding
venue
or
a
hotel.
This
establishment
has
great
potential
to
be
a
top
holiday
destination.
However,
for
those
considering
a
stay,
I'd
strongly
advise
contacting
the
hotel
in
advance
to
ensure
there
isn't
a
wedding
scheduled
during
your
visit.
