What an incredible space. The history is fascinating, the frescos interesting…and my favorite part was exploring the expansive gardens. Made me feel quite Secret Garden-y.

The Castle of Catajo is a magnificient palace build by the Obizzi Family. The external part is very beautiful, especially the park, but the hidden gem is on the inside. I suggest buying a ticket for the guided tours where all the frescoed rooms representing the events and the deeds of the family will be illustrated. The various allegories are very interesting.

Spectacular building, interiors and exteriors. Unfortunately, only a few rooms can be visited so the ticket might be a little pricy for such a short visit.

Really interesting place. Wonderful frescos an beautiful gardens. The excellent free audio guide adds value to the visit. Congratulations to the castle’s director who has recorded it: an entertaining audio guide is quite a rare finding

I am so pleased that I opted to visit this place. Our guide Felipo was brilliant and shared the ten centuries of history of this amazing building.

Really athmospheric place where you can feel the spirit of the past. And what is important: there are not too many visitors - you can stand alone and switch on your imagination, which is quite hard, when place is overcrawded.

We were on a wedding party there and the place is amazing! Views are great, food is delicious, drinks were fresh and well served! Highly recommended not only for a wedding but just to see the castle. Inside you will find a lot of medieval paintings and sculptures.

Nice to visit if you are in the area. Good renovation, well preserved pictures on walls, very interesting garden. Need about 1.5 hours. Has toilet and also refreshments dispensers.

A precious history-rich place. Worth visiting every room and listening to the audio guide. This place is unique in many ways. Congratulations to the owners and the team working hard on the restoration.

We went on a private tour conducted by Phillipo. It was amazing! He was very knowledgeable. The grounds were indescribable. I could have spent days outside exploring.

Was an interesting museum to visit, you get an English guide book that explains perfectly and deeply the art inside the castle, which really represents the vibe of the old episode in this part of Italy- the high society from venecia. Really recommend

A must see location for the gardens and the importance in the medieval history of the region. The guide was very competent and made our visit even more enjoyable.
