I love books so this place was a must visit!!!! I happened upon this place in the evening while exploring the town by myself. Keep in mind if you sit outside, you’ll be asked to settle your bill immediately. If you’re inside, you can have a tab. The servers are curt, yet polite. It’s a busy venue so I understand the need for quick turnaround and service. They speak English well and even though I try to speak Italian, they just served me in English. They made recommendations for me when I wasn’t sure what I wanted. The drinks are strong and tasty and I can’t get over the magic of the inside. It reminds me of beauty and the beast. I sat outside because inside was incredibly crowded but ended up moving inside due to the rain. The seats get snatched up but I witnessed twice couples giving up their seats for newcomers, so that was nice. I did end up snagging a table inside yay! (Was asked to move shortly after to another table to accommodate a party of four, which I didn’t mind since I was sitting in the middle anyway). All in all… the drinks are wonderful. Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic music, theme and cocktails but on our visit it was let down by the staff who could definitely have been more friendly (to all the customers not just us) My daughter who lives nearby had a much better experience the week previously with some friends, so perhaps just a one off, but meant we only stayed for one drink and moved on.

Accidentally, I ran into this bar which seemed really cool because it mixes books and drinks. The time I was there with a friend, we had to wait for 20 mins for a table to be free. Once inside, I felt very welcome: nice music, excellent lightning and very good drinks, though bit pricey in comparison to other places. Nonetheless, a beautiful experience.

You are not allowed to take the books out around the drinks but there are allocated books for people to enjoy in the evening. We went there on a Friday evening around 7pm. It was quite relaxed till about 9pm when people started flocking in. By 11pm, the place was full and we had enough cocktails. They have a great list of classical and signature cocktails. The prices are not extreme. I recommend it!

It was supernice to discover a coctel bar inside an old library, in which you will be able to consult or acquire books from different topics while you're enjoying a good drink. And the personnel is kind and close, I really appreciate that. Regarding the coctels, reasonable price and really tasty: the Very Goodfather, the Mai Tai, the Zorro... You should try them all! In summary: great coctels and good people making them, so I totally recommend this place!
