A hidden gem nested on the old city’s stairs. Welcoming and friendly staff, smartly decorated restaurant bring the sea closer to your plate. A rich variety of wine available. The food was amazing, served in right amount to enjoy each plate. We enjoy the diverse crowd, from local older generation, to families, couples and tourists. A must try!

Nice hidden trattoria by the aquarium and museums. Luckily we got a table (everyone else after us needed reservations). Wonderful modern take on the regional foods. Ordered the gazpacho (nice tomatoes flavour, maybe too much cheese), octopus pasta (wonderful smoked flavour!!) and a warm fig dessert and a pistachio ricotta cake. Not the cheapest, but affordable, and for the quality it is worth it! (65 for two starters, two entrees, two desserts, a glass of wine and two coffees) servers are friendly and prompt. Worth coming here to relax and take your time with quality dishes!

I went here based on a chance recommendation and I am so grateful for it. This is really a beautiful place. Wonderful food, really eleven stars. Wow. And you can tell from the way the team moves around the restaurant that they love their work. It shows. Grazie.

Excellent dinner! The staff was nice and professional, as well as careful with social distancing and case tracking. The menu includes original recipes, not too many options, but many re-interpretations of traditional dishes with modern ingredients. The quality of the food was outstanding, as well as presentation. Indoors spaces are limited, but the restaurant has many tables outside (can be noisy because of traffic).

Great place with great food if you are a (fresh) fish lover! Good presentation in the plate. Wine selection is good. Only 4 stars because I find that it is slightly too pricey... Thia may be due to the high season. I still highly recommend!

Incredible lunch from starter to finish. Cute, artsy and cozy location. Absolutely necessary to book in advance. I come back whenever I am in Genova. This lunch was the highlight of my holiday (when it comes to food). Photos are the desserts (absolutely incredible!)

I highly recommend this place while wanting to keep it as a secret in the same time. The food & service were excellent. There were no tourists, we were surrounded by Italians.

Very typical restaurant in Genova with revisited dishes from the tradition. Prices are fair and service is very good. I will definitely come back, highly recommend!

Great place, tasty seafood, amazing starters, main courses and desert. Next time we’ll try the second courses. Extremely recommended: Totani fritti and/or Mantecato di Baccalà as starters.

This restaurant comes highly recommended but I do not think it reflects the reality. The dishes are tasty but very small. The menu is limited. Prices high. Staff smiley & attentive.

A quite hidden pearl at the port near the main road but there was absolutely no need to hide - the food was superb, especially the gnochetti will stay in mind as the best dish of the 3 day trip to genova! The service staff was very friendly and attentive, despite the restaurant being busy. It was a lovely evening which I´ll keep in mind fondly :) Reservation recommended

Had a wonderful meal here! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend the sardines and tuna. Pasta was equally as good. Will definitely be back!

Very cute little restaurant with a small but very thoughtful menu. We enjoyed everything we had. The risotto was VERY tasty and refreshing.

Excellent pasta with shrimps and the best ombrino fish ever tasted

Very very friendly staff. They spoke English very well and were pretty courteous. The meal sizes however weren't that big for the price. We paid 17€ per person and got a small amount of fish with sides that were relatively bland. The blond beer tasted great on the other hand. All in all a mixed visit I guess. 😅

It is highly recommended!!! Best service in Genova , happy staff, smiling faces and super delicious fine dinning restourant. We tried almost all the menu and it is really hard just pick the favorites ones. Indeed, restourants is very cozy and super well designed. You feel yourself very local , but when you see the presentation of the food and taste it, you find yourself in a very luxury and difference place. Basically, worth to go and try !

The chef was so kind to accommodate our Take out order, even though the restaurant was very busy. Loved everything we ordered and were able to enjoy an AMAZING meal, packed and “plated” in recyclable containers with care, in the comfort of our accommodations. The Fisherman’s Cacio e Pepe and Mandarin panna cotte were highlights!

Due to covid préventive measures the table and seating is really below average. The food quality is good.
