A beautiful hike starting from Termini square. On google maps the beginning of this hike is in the Termini Square — not the overlook of Punta Campanella. Parking in March 2019: white lines are 30 min limit - blue parking area st overlook: €0.50 til 1pm; 1-5pm free. This is what we were told from the coffee shop next door. We bought a parking sticker from him since we arrived at 12:30pm. From the lot, walk south towards the split in the road. Right down the hill & right at the split. You’ll see signs. On the trail, there are red lines (&white) on rocks and posts marking the trail. Our Runkeeper logged 5 Miles doing the “loop” from the square. We had lunch. Stopped lots for photos. Took us about 3 hours total. The “veer right” side - beginning of the “hike” / wall is on road to cobblestone & is pretty easy. Slightly downhill with varying degrees of slope. The view is stunning as you can see Capri & much of the coastline below. In March - wildflowers everywhere. That’s roughly 2 Miles down the cobblestone to get to the Lighthouses (old & new! 1335 & 1846!!!!) Once we were there, a few overlook points & as you begin your return, to the right there is a worn path (several paths so look for a 1-2 foot wide path!), that takes the trail up the steep hill; rocky & narrow, grasses brushing us the whole way. Tough steps, steep incline, few unsteady rocks. Notes: Take lots of water! Even at 60’ F & windy, it was hot! We stopped at lighthouses for lunch & we’re glad we had some food for the hike up the hill. It was a longer hike than expected for us & the food. was great to have. We are in good physical shape - the hard parts of the hike don’t last too long; can be done easily - planning properly helps :) Near the top. The trail branches off to Termini and then to what looks like the overlook - it is fenced off; great views - but you’ll get them Going back along the Termini circle!

Absolutely worth the hike down amazing views. About a 45-minute hike down probably about 55 on the way back depending on your skill level but it's absolutely worth it if you can take the trip down and back you can see everything on a clear day absolutely stunning

Punta Campanella Is one of the most beautiful viewpoints along the stunning coast of the peninsula. From the car park it's a short 30-45 min walk along the cliffs on a downward slope that's mostly paved. The viewpoint itself is an abandoned old watchtower with grass land around it and a magnificent view of Capri island in the distance. If you're lucky like us you'll even see some dolphins. The return is slightly more strenuous as it's uphill and takes 45-60mins. Bring food and drinks as there is nothing along the way or at the viewpoint itself. Proper shoes recommended to avoid slipping. Absolute highlight - must see!

Great place! Be sure to go down to the sea, swim there and explore the cave (a bit challenging climb for not experienced hikers, but definitely worth it).

Very beautiful place , with an amazing view of Capri. You can also climb rocks, or do professional rock climbing if you have the gear for it.

Stunning views of Capri! Worth the visit. This hike is a mixture of easy and moderate. If you go all the way to the end, it will be somewhat steep. After the hike, stop by for a coffee and authentic Italian food at Chiosco Bar San Costanzo. You'll pass it on the way out.

For me the walking trail to Punta Campanella and from there to Chiesa San Christanzo was an absolutely fantastic adventure. Phenomenal views, beautiful landscape and the best view on Capri. Only some other walkers, so this track is also reccomended to those who loves silence and lonelyness.

Punta Campanella is a destination that requires a journey, and what a journey it is! The walkway leading there seems to have a personality of its own, revealing its quirks and charms as you traverse it. Even in the midst of a downpour that could rival a monsoon, where you're almost on a first-name basis with the raindrops, the experience is oddly enchanting. The rain-soaked adventure to Punta Campanella becomes a story worth telling, a tale of resilience and determination to witness something truly magical. The walkway, despite its stubborn commitment to getting you wet, unfolds like a passage of discovery. And when you finally arrive at Punta Campanella, with raindrops still glistening on your nose, the view is nothing short of heartwarming. So, if you're looking for an adventure with a touch of sarcasm from unpredictable weather, Punta Campanella is your destination incl. a very short view of Capri. It's a place where even the rain can't dampen the warmth of the experience, leaving you with memories that are as heartwarming as the journey itself.

Legendary view! It feels like you are standing at the end of the world. There is also a small canyon you can enter by stepping and climbing down on rocks, using some rope which is already in the walls and one very rusty ladder at the end. Its not for the faint-hearted but definitely worth it! Also its a hike of 30-45 min.

Beautiful walk and site. Beware - there is about 30-40 mins walk from the nearest place you can go with a car, and about 60-70 mins from the town. Hard walk on a sunny day.

We’re just coming to the end of a 10 night stay and wanted to say what a great holiday we’ve had. The hotel and its staff are great. Our room 303 on the front of the hotel had a Sea View and you get to see all the comings and goings in this small village resort. I let a review of the rooftop restaurant stop me eating there for the first few nights - what a mistake as the food is brilliant, the location is beautiful and again the staff are attentive and really helpful. Whilst breakfasts could offer more range in freshly cooked food, I would come back here time and again for this friendly location to see authentic Italian characters going about their daily lives. We’ve loved every minute - thanks to all staff, especially Angela, Allessandro and all their colleagues who’ve helped us relax and chill out xx

At the end of Surrentine Peninsula and Bay of Naples is Punta Campanella, just facing Capri Island. The site hosted a Temple dedicated to Athena first (Greeks) and Minervae later (Romans). It was destination for pilgrims coming from all the Vesuvian area and Rome. Some years ago was found an inscription in Oscan language. It is dated back to III a.c.

Beautiful walk, stunning views over Capri. Don't do in the heat of a midday sun as the walk back up the hill will do you in!

Moderately difficult trail. Starts with a descent to get there, and then you have to climb back. Takes about 1 hour each way. Nice views of Capri, and local sea. Path is well paved. Start at the parking lot near "vista su Capri" (on Google maps) in Termini.

A really nice and quite Town. It has views to Căpri and the sea. The only downaide îs that it js far away from Sorento. About 40 minutes by bus and 20 by car. Narrow streets with lots of crazy driving scooters. Ask for directions from locale, they are friendly and will tell you what and how to visit everything.

Awesome hike down and up. Clocked in about 6km from Termini. There are plenty of spots to park and pay at the parking meter. Gorgeous views of Capri all along the way
