If you're looking for a change from pasta and pizza, this friendly little restaurant offers a nice change. Go for one of the mixed plates which gives you a mix of different dishes, served with plenty of injera bread to pick it up (or an fork of you prefer!).

Excellent choice when you have eaten enough typical Italian fare and want something else. Very tasty platters that you eat with your hands using Injera bread to scoop up the thick stews. Good vegetarian options which I recommend, and lovely service!

We went to this restaurant to show our Italian friends injera. However we couldnt even order in our own language. Also we asked to speak to the chef, according to the waitress this wasnt possible which suprises us since in any restaurant it is normal to speak to the chef to ask for any specific requests. At least she could have forwarded our message but she refused. Eventually the sauces were fine, the injera itself was very sticky, didnt look like it was prepared by habeshas. A tip for the restaurant: hire Eritrean people, who are familiar with the food, to work for you who take the time to take an order and not rush between tables.

It's my first time tasting Eritrean cuisine and I really loved it. Sometimes spicy, sometimes sour, there was always some new taste developing as we ate. The waitress was really polite and helped us choose the food. There's no menu in English, but in my experience it often means that you've stumbled upon something good that not many have discovered yet :)

The food and the family-run service is authentic and adds to the culinary experience. Clean and easy going. They don't rush you at all.

Not the best zighini I have ever had. The place is really nice, but you can smell the kitchen: it's a spicy cuisine and that's not exactly a pleasant smell
