Chanced upon this Chinese restaurant while looking for a nearby supermarket. The sweet & sour pork, kungpao chicken, stir fried beef was really good. So was the spicy sour soup, stir fried veggie, etc. Again, was too hungry to take food pics... 😅 The dumpling 'skin' was a little thick compared to SG version, but still thinner than Northern China version. Highly recommended... to avoid disappointment, do make a reservation. A short 5 mins walk from Republicca Metro Station.

My favourite Chinese restaurant in the central of Milano. The place is easy to find, M1 and M3, tram 1,5,10 and also bus. The furniture is chic and stylish. The food is very traditional chinese one, compared to other chinese restaurant, this one is more authentic. Also the service people are friendly. Highly recommended.

Came with good expectations, only to find plain (tasteless) and poorly made dim sum dishes. Meatball with glutinous rice was floppily assembled. Shrimp dumplings tasted like de-frozen from ages ago. The appetizer century eggs were sloppily chopped and seasoned. Unfortunately very disappointed. Maybe other dishes were ok, but mine wasn’t.

Cheap but genuine chinese food. Not too spicy and very mild flavors. The soups are very good and the dumplings too. You can eat well for less than 10€ per person. Very good quality overrall.

If you are Chinese or a foodie, avoid this place at all costs. The chef cooks with ketchup - and so each of the dishes that I ordered tasted sickly sweet.

Very good quality of Chinese food! Am glad that I finally found one in Milan. It offers relaxing Chinese inspired decorations, which is an add on.

It was a little warm with poorer ventilation as we were seated at the corner. But the food is excellent and you need to visit and once is not enough. Prices are affordable and will come back again. Highly recommended! P.s. their "spicy" stuff is nowhere near as spicy as what you get in Asia, so don't be afraid to order them even if you don't enjoy spicy food.

I’m trying to rate every Chinese restaurant in Milan and Fan Wu gets a 10/10. My loyalty still lies with Mao in Loreto but Fan Wu has comparably excellent food with more space and better decor. It’s a better place to bring a large group or to stay longer with friends.

Food is fine. Found it expensive in comparison of the quality, taking into account also the high and excellent offer of Chinese food in Milan. Maybe it is just fancier than other Chinese restaurants. Aubergine dish was not with the Chinese ones, that was dissapointing.

I think I found my favourite dish here. This is called something like calamari on fire, just ask a waiter. What is even more appealing is that the place is running by very nice family. Been there twice, perfect experience.

Time management could be better. White rice was told to be out of stock 10 minutes after all the dishes had arrived. Soup came the last instead of the first. Prices have been increased now since 2 months ago about 2EUR per dish.

Good location with nice design. The food is alright, but nothing special compared to other Chinese restaurants in Milan. The portion sizes were rather small for the price offered.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The host were very courteous and helpful explaining the menu. Provided advice on the food choices. The food was excellent. A must visit if you are in Milano Italy.

Nice place with good environment and food. As a Chinese, i would like to say the food here is good enough. Here offers Si Chuan dishes which many of them are spicy. But for people who do not like spicy food can also find some delicious dishes.

Super cozy place, very friendly and helpful personnel. The food was delicious at a very affordable price. Would love to experience another dinner here on my next trip to Milan!

Excellent food and not expensive at all. Spaghetti con i frutti di mare were so delicious. The place is also beautiful and doesn't look old. For sure I want to come back soon.

We arrived 15 minutes before our booked reservation at 21:30 the restaurant was empty at that time instead of taking our order we had to wait until the restaurant was filled and where able to actually order at 22:00. The system is that they cook dish by dish and hand out the separate plates to the tables instead of doing the order of a whole table all together. This meant that one person became their main 20 minutes before everyone else and the rice that should have come with it, only arrived when the next main of another person was delivered. The Startes arrived 30 minutes after everyone was finished with eating at 23:00. All in all a little eating and a lot of waiting. This restaurant has good food but definitely needs a new system bc the experience was unpleasant.
