When we got into Opera, the vibe was weird. And the service started weird and we didn’t know what to expect. But after a few minutes we understood the the waiters are high level professionals, seeing understanding the customer needs, and have a great wine knowledge. The food was really good. We had the stuffed artichoke, truffle pasta, ricotta tortellini, and the fish of the day. Every was great and I really recommend visiting there!

Very limited at home, no choice of dishes, a member of our family chose spaghetti so it was necessary to take the same thing that the rest of the table did not make other pasta leather. The amount of dishes we realize is very limited. Don't they appreciate the French ?? We walked out of the restaurant and saw that people ate the same dish that we had twice as much. We do not recommend this restaurant for tourists.

Amazing food! We went twice 😊 The fries are amazing. All the foods are great. We used the vegetarian options as we don't eat meat. Hot drinks are amazing. They have soya milk 🥛

My worst experience in Naples. I chose this site because of the good reviews and what a restaurant joke. It was impossible to eat inside because of the suffocating heat. Luckily we got a table outside. In Italian, the waiter tells us that they don't have our favorite food and points out some photos on the menu. I ask him again, because I don't understand him well (he can't speak English, he doesn't even try to explain himself). The waiter, annoyed, tells me that he has already told me and points again to the same 3 dishes in the photo. Surprisingly, I ask her if they have anything else (despite having a fairly extensive menu) and she doesn't tell me they only have those three meals (it was 10pm), only one kind of pasta. We choose between these options and when it comes to food they are not what we ordered. We tell the waiter and very rudely he tells us it's our fault, we gave the wrong order. In the end he agreed to change our plate, but did not repeat that it was our fault. He even repeated the phrase and left the table. It made me feel very uncomfortable. In the end, the food, which was important, was not good either. I still don't understand why we were treated so badly compared to other reviews.

Had a great experience at this restaurant. We took: The Land and The Sea menu. As you can see on the pictures the food looks really good and the taste was good as well. Restaurant looks really nice from the inside with good vibes. Staff was very friendly, professional and overall great service!

Opera Restaurant is an exceptional local restaurant that brings culinary expertise and an exquisite fine-dining experience to the heart of the local Napoli area. It’s not a touristy neighbourhood but the culture and food scene is what makes me love coming to this area of Naples. The Genoese ravioli was incredible & the service is amazing, Raffaele won’t let your wine glass get empty - a true authentic Italian experience. Grazie Mille!

All of these one-star reviews are fake. The Opera offers enlightened modern fine dining that is true to the genius loci. Think creamy al dente risotto sprinkled with cubes of Asian-infused tuna and fried capers, or deconstructed tiramisu that is creamy and crunchy, salty and sweet. And perfect local wine pairings. Cool lounge style atmosphere and kind, professional staff through and through.

EXCELLENT! It’s a food experience that you can’t miss if you are in Naples. High quality food, top customer service and a journey of tastes that I really recommend. I’ll be back.

After all the good reviews we were very disappointed. A draft seat right next to the door, an inattentive and unfriendly waiter, small portions and sometimes hard bread drove us out of the store very quickly. We like to enjoy dessert and coffee in a friendly atmosphere

What a memorable night! A few weeks before my trip to Naples, I got in touch with the manager Riccardo and asked him for a special treatment as it was my lady's birthday. Everything was organized flawlessly! The table full of flowers, wine, main course, dessert with a birthday candle, and, first and foremost, wonderful service. Thank you and every single person of the team for this experience.

Rude waiter, fish dish good but very small, no companion, had to ask for a separate salad and it was also a very small meal. Some of the bread was as hard as stone and we didn't dare order dessert. It was an unpleasant experience.

A magnificent place with best in class service, amazing ingredients and perfection in preparation and curated dishes. All ingredients could be appreciated and are elevated to please the most demanding palats like mine. Wine are also phenomenal definitely recommended. Da ritornarci almeno ogni trimestre. We had the four course "Agris" tasting menu including the artichoke, Genovese pasta, beef cubes, and chocolate semi fredo. Each item was delicious. They went out of their way to make our night special. Kudos to the chef and team!

We really enjoyed eating here. The staff was very attentive and also gave us some great tips for the kids (who wanted basically to eat the same as us but didn't like fish or seafood). The food (for us it was the Mediterraneum menu) was really tasty and fresh, as were the wines. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

I was really keen in going to Opera when in Naples and indeed food here was nice and tasty with a very good presentation, however the service completely killed the experience! At such a high end restaurant it is unacceptable that: you get a fish dish just after you have said that you do not eat fish; get wine that is blurry and clearly contaminated and that you ask for wine suggestions and you get a plain wine/food pairing when you have been told the sommelier will come and suggest you wines. My business partner chose a meat tasting menu and with one of the dishes he got a blurry wine which had something floating in. Then as a snack which was offered by the house got a piece of cuttlefish, while he told them at the beginning that he doesn't eat fish (after being asked if we had some preferences or allergies). On the other hand, I had chosen 2 fish dishes and I asked if I could get some wine suggestions with my dishes. I was told that the sommelier will come. Unfortunately he never came and I only got some wine glasses with each of my dishes. I could still omit this as my wines were good, however definitely in each glass I had a different quantity of wine (the second one was almost double the first one). Finally, I asked for an espresso and I got a bag of sweetener with it, no question if I want sugar or even at such a place I would expect they have a choice of different types of sugar... Personnel at Opera is definitely not delivering a service for a restaurant where for a dinner for 2 you pay almost 200 EUR with just a couple wine tasting glasses with your dinner. Unfortunately, the bad service completely killed the food experience you expect in this place.

Beautiful restaurant setting and a very friendly and accommodating owner, Guido. Went there to celebrate my husband's birthday and Guido made sure the birthday cake was arranged even though he could not be there personally. We tried the tasting menu (if it is your first visit, try the tasting menu -well worth it) very interesting combinations and very fresh ingredients used. They also serve a very good olive oil with their homemade breads. It is not a big restaurant so be sure to call for reservations.

Lovely place, incredibly fresh ingredients that you can really taste the quality. We really enjoyed the tasting menu with the wine pairings. Would definitely recommend especially if you’re looking for a nice restaurant in an area that’s not overwhelmingly crowded to get to.

Wow. Ate the 7 course meal, in the end got like 12 different dishes. Although some of the dishes were a bit off (the red tuna and the pasta), the other dishes were amazing. Left the place full and happy, would definitely go again.

Very good food and a very classy place. Everyone is extremely friendly and forthcoming. The food is amazing (although in small portions). If you're looking for a slightly higher end restaurant this is the place. Mainly serves sea food but they also have pasta and some very good pork.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The seafood appetizer was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was delightful, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!
