Authentic Asian food in the middle of Illinois!!! Yes guys! All 5 stars for them! Because they have a great kitchen, fantastic friendly service and awesome atmosphere. We’ve been coming here on a regular basis and realized I never dropped a proper review. The food is great! They know how to prepare the dumplings properly. Fully filled with yummy soup, great dough and right on spot temperature. There’s our favorite, the fried fish and every time we come we try new things. Don’t forget to ask for their home made chili oil that goes fantastically well with rice and anything else you’re eating (we like out food spicy!!) Totally recommended and we will come back!!! Lo

ALERT!! Superior food quality here! The Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) at this joint are hand-made and have so much yummy soup the authentic way! When trying a new restaurant, I typically like to take photos as I go, but this time around, as soon as I tried the Lemon dumplings, I was transferred to a whole other dimension and forgot to take photos of the other dumplings!! I ordered all their flavors to see which ones were the best. They were all delicious! Each flavor comes in shocking different colors and all were out of this world. The other small plates were outstanding and served steaming out from the open kitchen. I wish I could say it ended there, but the Chocolate Bao are to die for! A must go dine-in experience. I’ll be back!

BEST Chinese food in Schaumburg. Usually get takeout and finally got to try their indoor dining and loved it. Come here for yummy Shanghai dumplings, dim sum, clay pots and Baos. You absolutely can’t leave this place without having their Chocolate Bao, trust me you can’t stop at one. It’s a nicely done place with high ceiling and minimalistic decor. Our server Joy was super helpful and friendly and made great recommendations. We started with the hot & sour soup, chicken dumplings and lemon bao. All three dishes were delicious and we devoured it quickly. Then we had the Beef clay pot with radish and the Stir fried kwetiaw with Chicken, again both the dishes were so tasty. Finally we ended our meal with the highly recommended Chocolate Bao and omg it was amazing!!! I am so glad I listened to Joy and ordered them, it was beyond perfect !! Go check this place out for incredible food, service and ambience . Highly Recommend!

I brought my mom here for her birthday, and drove about an hour from where we live, and it was so worth it! Everything we ordered was delicious! Their calamari was honestly the best I have ever had! I also highly recommend the Phat Phat Chicken, and the Black Pepper Beef. My only regret was not being able to try everything. But we’ll definitely be back to try more. Thanks for the great food, and service!

The only thing i would recommend from here would be the xiao long boas, as they have good flavor and texture. Everything else was a major let down - every dish with chicken has overdone and flavorless chicken and the portions were EXTREMELY small (was told a 1.5 cup portion of fried rice is completely shareable, when in reality was about one portion). the mango boas were nearly flavorless and only meant for aesthetics, and majority of the food was not at all authentic. If you want a place that’s fun to sit down in and have aesthetic food, this is a great place, but if you’re looking for an authentic and genuine chinese restaurant, i would not recommend.

I try not to get too crazy in describing places, but PhatPhat is truly a destination eatery. The food is completely off the scale. The ambiance is cool and the service is excellent. Food comes quick. Nothing is spicy just to be spicy. The desserts are killer good.

Nice clean restaurant. Very bright lighting and rather cool temperature in the open air setting. The menu didn't offer as many choices as I hoped. The portions were adequate. Food was well prepared . Fried rice was rather dry. I would have preferred a cozier setting.

I am not sure if I would agree with most of the poor reviews for the food. There was only one server during my lunch visit, but the food came out fairly quickly as my group had ordered about 6 main dishes to share. The server seemed attentative enough to be refilling out water and not as bad as the other reviews made it to be... Moving onto the food: Although the place is labeled as Singaporean, I felt like the dishes themselves were not of anything special from any other Chinese food. We did not order any dimsum, mostly dishes to share. I did like a lot of their dishes as they were flavorful and a few unique ones. I would recommend getting their Sheng Jian Baos & Crispy Fish dish. The baos were unexpectantly juicy and fried well on the bottom; but warning that these were very small baos, almost like dumpling. The Crispy Fried Fish were like fish fillets in nuggets and indeed crispy on what seems to be a bedside of fried pork floss, pretty yummy! However, the dishes are not that big and a bit pricey for the size... I am specifically talking about the noodles. The Hong Kong Mee with Seafood and X.O sauce came in a very small plate and seemed to be a dish meant to only share between two people. For what it is worth, it is not worth the price. We still did get full from the dishes we ordered and shared though. Overall, I would recommend to try this place as it is a nice find in the suburbs (especially if you're craving Chinese food and to try a new place)

Drove by and saw this was a new-to-me restaurant. Looked completely renovated. Inside it is brand new and super clean. We looked over the menu and quickly wanted EVERYTHING! We ordered the Cha Siew Pao (BBQ pork dumplings) and they were amazing! Loved the chili oil dipping sauce. We also ordered the Crab Fried Rice, Hong Kong Mee Chicken (fantastic noodles), and the Hong Kong Mee with Charlie (pork) and crispy wonton. Everything was so fantastic. Wait staff were also great and very attentive. We can't wait to go back and try completely different dishes, but that Cha Siew Pao is going to be so hard to beat. This is our new favorite place. 07/09/2021 Update: Went back tonight and they were SO busy! I am so very happy to see this. Tonight we tried the stir fried Green Beans. WOW. They were so good. Simple yet fantastic. We had a new waitress and she was so nervous, but did a great job all the same. OF COURSE we will be back.

This place is amazing! Everything we have tried here is so good. Quick service as well as amazing. Our server, Joy, recommended items to us and she did not disappoint. Hands down best server we've ever had! Please give this place a try. You won't be sorry!

Authentic southeast Asian food and very delicious Chinese soup dumplings! Atmosphere was good. Host was nice and easy going. 10/10 will come back again and bring more friends over. Chef is from original Imperial Lamian in downtown Chicago and he made sure dishes taste the same as its original.

Every time I’m in Schaumburg, I hit up phat phat! You can’t go wrong with their chicken fried rice (it has a sort of spicy chili sauce that’s SO good and I’ve never found better fried rice) and the pan fried chicken dumplings are AMAZING!!! Please try them, you won’t be disappointed.

Been wanting to try Phat Phat for a long time. Once you walk in you get a warehouse feel. Very modern fixtures with booths and tables. Nice bar area. We were greeted by the waitress and were seated promptly. Menu is easy to read with mainly pictures. I wish it had better descriptions of the food as the server offers no assistance. They offer Southeastern Asian and Indonesian entrees. Prices are moderate but portions are small. Plates were brought out as they were prepared so you which I did not like. Ordered the Orange Chicken Soup Dumplings. Flavorful but small portions. Also had the Sichuan Wontons Dimsum. Again small in size and lacking flavor. Since I was still hungry I ordered the Garlic Chicken Wings. Very small in size, overpriced and super salty. A dipping sauce would have been nice but when I asked the server, she only offered chili oil. My wife wanted a Gluten Free dish and they only suggested the beef fried rice which was super bland, overpriced and lacking beef. With so many choices of restaurants in the area,I don't think we will be back.

I and my wife have Brent honking of going to this restaurant for a while but it just did not happen. So, we one day we just landed there. Interior is contemporary modern with super worn-out sticky door mat. No body at reception. We waited for a while and then approached a waitress. She heard and us but did not acknowledged us. Looked at us but just kept doing her thing. Staff looked tired and over worked. We got our spot, it turned out also had to make some paper entry, lol. We walked in sat at our table. The lady took the order and food came fairly quickly we asked for hot sauce, which came after we finished appetizer, the waiter was busy packing online orders and there are whole lot of service error through out our first experience at the restaurant. Besides this the menu is over priced for qty and level of service. Besides interior I can say kitchen was super quick in getting us the order but also waiteress also insisted in taking entire order for main course with appetizer. Over all, it will really take a long time for me to go back here.

You guys have to come, this place has great food, since the first time I had this food I was in heaven!! The workers are super kind. Everything I ate was good, I can be picky so that has to say something. I plan to come for a long time.

We drove all the way out here from Des Plaines to get, what ended up being some of the most magnificent food I've ever had. The dumplings were just amazing, the service was great, the waiter explained the menu in detail. The food came out quick, hot, and delicious. Very modern atmosphere, lots of parking, friendly staff. I definitely put this on my favorites list.

EVERYTHING WAS FRESH, THE STAFF WAS GREAT, VERY CLEAN, GREAT ENVIRONMENT, AND QUICK SERVICE EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE SHORT STAFFED. I WOULD RECOMEND PHAT PHAT LARGE PORTIONS CAN BE SHARED. ONLY DOWNSIDE THEY WERE OUT OF MENU ITEMS DUE TO THE PANDEMIC!!

Usually when you get only 6 dumplings from other places for $9, they aren’t good. These are easily the best I’ve ever had. Golden Sheng Bao. Phenomenal. Always hot and juicy inside and a perfect dumpling outside. 100% will be going back!

Delicious Chinese food. What a pleasant surprise to see that they offer selective Indonesian foods. The chicken satay was little salty. The fried fish was very good but little oily. Nelly and another waitress were very friendly and attentive.

Food was incredible, very flavourful and fresh. My complaint is that most Bo Zai Fan (claypot rice) places serve the rice and meat all in one pot. It didn’t seem as authentic as other places I’ve had. Despite that, the food was amazing. I could be a gluttonous weirdo, but I also felt that the price was a little steep for the small portion size. I ordered 4 items and it totalled 40 dollars. It was barely enough for just 1 person. I honestly don’t even eat that much, but I imagine for 2-4 people it would run you close to $30+/person. Aside from the small portions, the food was incredible. Service was top notch, and the restaurant was clean. I will be coming back again!

Found this place on TikTock and we LOVED it! The atmosphere is super cute with the couches built into the wall. The food was quick to get to us and delicious! The Boba drink did have a lot of ice which wasn't great for the price. But the pork soup dumplings were delicious!

Great place! The dumplings, noodles, and sides are all very fresh and flavorful. The staff is great, and the restaurant is nice and open. Great place to try a few different items and share at the table.

Service was excellent. Food came out fast and our waitress explained everything and came back to check which we liked best. We did the restaurant week menu, which had one of each of their colorful dumplings: Shanghai, beef, orange, lemon and spicy. Table favorites were Shanghai, orange and spicy. The lemon tasted just like lemon candy--I'd get for dessert not main. The highlight of the meal was the mia goreng. So so so delicious. It was smoky and just perfectly tasty. Finally we had the chocolate, mango and truffle buns. Favorite was the mango. If you like truffles, you'll like that one. All in all, I can't wait to go back.

My first time visiting. The waiter was lovely and explained that they served Indonesian food. I tried golden seng jian bao, dumplings w chicken and shrimp. They were yummy. I also tried the siew Mai dumplings they were unflavorful. I loved coming and plan to return, a great dining experience.

I thought this place was super cute and the food was pretty good! I came for lunch with friends- which was good because we all got several small plates to share. My favorite dishes were the veggie dumplings and the black sesame bao. There’s some vegetarian options on the menu but not a lot. Service was really good and the ambiance of the restaurant was great as well.

Came here for a Sunday brunch, waited about 40min to get seated, but it’s understandable since they’re understaffed. We ordered calamari for appetizer, the flavor was on point but wish it was not cold though. Beef stir fried noodles was my favorite. And the beef stew buns and sheng jian bao were both delicious. I was disappointed on the Szechuan wontons, they’re supposedly served in spicy chili oil but ours were not spicy at all.

We came here for a date night and we just absolutely loved it! The server was so friendly and so helpful in explaining the various dishes. Everything we ordered was superb. The soup dumplings, Szechuan wings, garlic cucumber, Pepper Beef and Indonesian fried rice was just so good. We can't wait to come back.

Cute restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff! We got dim sum, pan fried dumplings, several noodle dishes and desserts which were all delicious. Food came out fast and our waiter Miguel was so friendly and amazing, would definitely recommend.

Excellent taste to the pepper beef, with flavors from the cast iron wok and sticky sauce. Plenty of space inside, with the tables spread out. Can't wait to go back, and enjoy their great food outside as well.

This place just opened not long ago. My kid wanna try it out so it's our first time. Food is just so so.. pretty average from my opinion. They offered Southern Asian food not your typical Chinese food. Combine with very few selections of dim-sum and Asian dishes. Taste is OK and service is friendly. As I said, it's new so it's spacious and easy to breath inside. The reason I give them 3 stars is base on their lack of selections, average taste and friendly service.

Good restaurant Chiness food restaurant but fusion style I think. Good services nice kindly. Food was very good. But salty and smell . Price is little bit expensive. Strong recommend for family and friends. Restroom was bad not clean enough.
