First time eating here. The food is made in the kitchen and then put on a conveyor belt. PAY ATTENTION to the PLATE COLOR! Each plate color is a different price. It's very easy to go over budget with this system. All menus are digital. You scan a qr code with your phone and the website with the menu comes up. All of the staff are wearing masks. Masks are optional for guests. Be prepared to wait for at least 15 minutes to be seated.

Very upsetting, dealing with the manager and the owner with threats of police action, daughter on her birthday tore her brand new jeans while sitting on there bench, from sharp protruding fasteners, manager was called immediately and the only thing they did was say “ sorry” We spent over $ 200 between 8 in our party. I asked to be compensated for the jeans, owner came out and said no, he will not do anything and then threatened me with police, and even accusing me of alcohol on my breath ! (as we stood by the hand sanitizer) I have absolutely no problem spending money on food and services, but this is by far not how you should run a business and treat your customers.

I've been going to this place for 12+ years now. Great sushi at decent prices. Servers are nice, quick and efficient. What I like best is the instant gratification you can have. See something you like, pick it up! It's great being able to eat as soon as you sit down if you like! You can also order from the menu as well so you can get anything you wish! Prices are per plate and listed clearly at each table. I do like how they put barriers between seats post pandemic so I don't have to be elbow to elbow with people like before. Hot Saki and Beer are available to order. Gets busy right at lunch time sometime and on Friday nights. So be prepared. I do wish they had an automated check in system that could notify you via phone rather than the old ticket system they use because the waiting areas can get cramped quick and if you're not within earshot of them calling your number you might miss out. But this is a minor complaint.

Know that you must be vaccinated to enter. The sushi was pretty good although I questioned the freshness on some of it. Beef teriyaki was delightful but a little sweet. The service was good and friendly. The atmosphere was average and the food was average overall. If I was close by it might be somewhere to visit again.

I have been coming here for 15 years now, and even after moving faaar away from it - I always stop here for some delicious sushi. Station has a special place in my heart, as my wife and I been here on our first date and been coming back since. It looked like recently they have undergone a small interior update, probably due to COVID, which makes a dinner date even more intimate than before.

Fabulous place, a traditional visit the one time of year I'm in Chicago! Lots of options to choose from both via sushi, soups, and other meals. The conveyor belt food always tastes fresh too. Service is very good, even when they are busy. If you're in the area, I highly recommend.

You know, I had never been to one of these places before and wasn't sure about it. What I can say is that my friend and I ate our hearts out and had tons of fun doing it. You can order items from the menu or just stick to what comes around. You are charged by the color of the plates you take. There are a lot of choices (though I didn't think the spicy was very spicy). I do wish they gave more than a single packet of Wasabi to start but I'm sure you could ask for me. I'm just shy sometimes and don't like to but that is totally on me. We had three deserts. We were super stuffed.. Haha our total bill was under 40 bucks. Not bad! I wish I had taken more pictures but I was too busy eating and chatting with my friend. Oh well.

A fun place to eat delicious sushi. My family loves how the sushi comes around on a conveyer and we love how tasty everything is. I really like how we can eat many different types of sushi and we aren't stuck with just one or two rolls. I highly recommend sushi station!

Love it. Delicious, fun, can be really fast if not going during rush - we've waited up to an hour and a half for a party of four but they were slammed but if we go during the day or early enough on a weekend we are seated instantly and then the food is already made, it's great. You can also order some things to order like a bowl of rice and teriyaki beef or chicken like I do for my preschooler who will sample the sushi but needs something more familiar to fill up on while she tries new things.

This is one of my go-to sushi restaurants in the area! The conveyor belt system scores major points for just being a fun experience. On top of that, the employees are great and service is quick. Top it off with really fresh tasting nigiri and creative maki. The appetizer menu is super varied too- and if you're lucky, you might see the robot kitty server!

🍣🎉 Sushi Station Paradise Found 🍣🎉 Sushi Station took my taste buds on an adventure as soon as I stepped in. You are seated next to a cool conveyor belt. Which this creates a mesmerizing spectacle, that carries a constant parade of delectable sushi, salads, and desserts. Sushi gliding by like colorful, edible gems, waiting to be picked up. Color coded by their plates so you know how much each entree is worth. Every plate was a delightful surprise! The freshness and flavors are beyond compare, a testament to their dedication to quality. From mouthwatering maki rolls to crisp salads and divine cheesecake’s, it's a feast for the senses. It's impossible to resist the urge to try them all and share this culinary exploration with fellow food enthusiasts. There is a sushi chef that is constantly creating these little master pieces. The staff and waiters are so friendly, attentive and kind. You can easily order something off the menu if you don’t see your entree or if you prefer not to wait on the conveyor’s next rotation. If you're in Rolling Meadows this spot will satisfy that craving for some great sushi. 🍱🍣🎉

The service is outstanding. Considering the conveyor belt novelty of "self service", it's easy to order off the menu anything you're not seeing on the belt or don't want to wait for. The food is all delicious, and I say this having lived in Japan for a long time, but also knowing Chicago seafood has it's limitations. For example, shellfish like scallops will often be "spiced" and cannot live up to things bought at tsukiji market the same day like in Tokyo. Even the dessert was good. I gave in and ordered the tiramisu, and it was seriously good; just the right amount of cream, mocha and coffee flavors. We'll go again.

Good vegetarian options. We have visited 3 times. Only policy didn't like you all have to go inside together. You can't sit and order until you waiting for someone else.

Two stars because of staff only. Very strange take out rules. Seems like their rules are just designed for profit alone (all my friends joke that they are looking to make money in any way possible from you at SS). It ruins the atmosphere. Sushi is great though and the chefs are super kind!!

This is the place you come to for the experience of what they offer. Sushi on a moving belt. Prices are good, service is good, food is good.

Ordering off the menu is the key to the best experience at this rotating sushi bar. The menu has dozens of things that will not go past on the enclosed "train" of sushi, salad, and dessert options. Also, you never really know how long they have been on there. The prices for the plates are color-driven, and there are pricing keys posted along the bar. Your bill can rapidly get away from you if you aren't paying attention to the plate colors. The food is good, but not amazing or especially creative in appearance. This isn't that kind of sushi experience. Prepare to spend some time watching for new items to go past, scouring the menu for things you like, and feeling very full when you leave.

Best sushi I've had thus far! And I've been to a lot of sushi places. I love that their entire menu is picture based so there's no guessing what you're ordering. The atmosphere is very much reminiscent of the sushi bars in Japan with conveyor belts and robots but also just an overall fun dining experience. The portion sizes aren't massive so you can feel comfortable trying new things without breaking the bank. Will definitely be returning here soon!
