Staff and the manager are rude and incompetent. For instance, they didn’t have my shoe size in the store which is no problem not their fault but I needed a 6.5 and they ordered me an 8 and now they’re asking me to go out of my way to return them at the store. Apparently they’re not able to send me a return label for this pair and then send me the correct pair. Very unprofessional and unfair especially when I was not at fault. I usually have patience because I understand humans make mistakes but the fact that they can’t fix their mistake and are then rude about it is absurd. Don’t waste your time with these people who don’t care for their customers or enough about their job to do it correctly.

Service was terrible. I asked someone for shoes and the guy scanned them to see the size. He said they had the size and just walked away to stand around the store. I saw multiple other people asking for a shoe to try on and he did the same thing to them. Tons of people were sitting around to try on shoes and no one was there to help out except the one guy. Wouldn’t recommend shopping here for shoes. You are better off ordering shoes online. You’ll get them shipped to your house before a JD worker will do their job correctly.

From the entrance to the cash register, this place has the worst customer service ever. Can't find any runners on the floor. Everyone was hanging in the cash register and when approaching them, they just stare at you. Not like they work there or whatever. After telling one guy I need a size, it felt like I was talking to a wall like he hated being there. Then don't work there! I was nothing but approachable which the employees should had been. The cashier was undeniably cold. Like leave if you don't want to be there. When I came up to the register, they were in a group just talking. Not a meeting but just talking. I was standing in line and had to tell this girl I need to checkout. The customers weren't disrespectful, the employees were. I'm just so heated writing this review.

I never write reviews, but the customer service of this store is so horrible that it needs to be heard. The overall presentation of the store and merchandise is impeccable, which is why I enjoyed shopping at JD Sports. When I went to the cash register to purchase over $400 of clothing, the employees were very unapproachable. All of the employees were gossiping about customers. I tried to have a simple conversation with the employee, but they gave me disrespectful glares. Their tone of voice towards me was degrading. The employees made me feel unwelcome. I understand that we all have our feelings, but the actions that these employees took, such as talking poorly about customers, refusing to talk to me, and being rude, were just not necessary. I loved the clothes, but confidence wise, the employees made me feel horrible about myself. I recommend shopping online than going to this store.

This store has the rudest employees ever. They don’t want to help you at all. They don’t have the tools to measure kids feet to make sure they get the right size and they tell you to go somewhere else instead of helping. I went to kids footlocker right after and the experience was 100 times better! Skip this place! Rude young employees who don’t know customer service.

Used to be the best shoe store to shop at but lately the customer service has plummeted and ruins the store. I’m sure some workers there like their job and want to be there but the others do not at all and it shows. Store was almost empty but yet still took more than 15 minutes to get an update on one pair of shoes. I ended up walking out instead.

I went in to get a pair of AIR Max and the style I wanted wasn’t in stock so I ordered a pair to be shipped. Fast forward to receiving them in the mail - the shoe clearly has been used and dirty. If I knew I was getting used shoes I would have went to another store. At least tell the customers they will be getting used shoes instead of surprising them. Called the customer service line and thankfully I am able to get a refund! They mentioned sometimes they send the display shoes which again If that’s the case tell the customer! I just went straight to Nike and bought them plus was able to use my student discount which ended making the shoe 144

Never buy anything in this store. It’s just terrible. Always be sure you get a printed receipt! Because they never send you receipt on email. Their return policy is only exchange. No returns. Really the worse experience

COVID -19 is over, stop being lazy and open the fitting rooms already and if you don’t want to have them anymore take the sign off to cause no confusion

Great staff and selections. Sometimes I'll find releases that were sold out or not picked up!

I purchased shoes online, they didn't fit. So i called store, lady answered she was very nice told me to bring into store for return/trade. I got there met her at register, she made process very easy. My saleman was a very nice gentleman, who helped me try 10 different shoes cause i wear a 13, and most wouldn't fit properly. He didn't seem frustrated at all, he said "i got you" and brought out multiple shoes with hace. Exchange went Great, definitely a great experience. Even with store packed during closing, they held great customer service.

Big shout out to Griselda and staff at JD Sports in Schaumburg at the woodfield mall. Gotta give props where props are due... she has exercised excellent customer service on numerous occasions and visits. I truly appreciate her individual attention and customer service. If you are looking for the best selection in gym shoes I'm sure they have it and be sure to ask for Griselda...

The store manager Cristian was very helpful with a return. After another employee gave us a hard time and no explanation on what other action we could take. Cristian was very professional and solved our issue really quick! Awesome service!

Very disrespect from the Manger Maryam first line to long only one or two Cashier and the rest walking around the Manger used her finger to talk to me on her tone I felt decrement I disappoint with management not thinning the Manger first how to respect a customer's and be helpful but when you see so many reviews one start this is so bad should be the district manager take action so disrespect from you Maryam but still I will follow complaints against you in BBB good luck in your business.

They always and I mean ALWAYS take care of me at JD. The Southridge location has THE best employees and management. I rarely shop anywhere else , less Feature or Lapstone .

Do yourself a favor and find some other store. Go there if you want to wait for more than 1 hour after you selected the shoes and just to hear the requested size is not available.
