Mövenpick Hotel in Abidjan fits in the luxurious and comfortable category. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are comfortable and modern, providing a pleasant stay for both business and leisure travelers. A notable feature of the hotel is its executive lounge, where I need to specially mention breakfast and evening offerings. (happy hour) The hotel's location in the Plateau area of Abidjan is convenient for guests, with easy access to various attractions and amenities in the city. The gym and restaurant have also received positive mentions, with guests appreciating the quality of the facilities and the food offered. Sometimes the food is not too varied, I noticed this in the beginning of the week, and slightly improving towards the weekend. Overall, the Mövenpick Hotel Abidjan deserves 5 stars for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and quality amenities.

Feel like my vacation really truly started when I changed hotels and came to Mövenpick. I have no complaints. None. Zero. Usually there's this one thing or two I would point out but with them it was smooth sailing. Truly if you look at my past reviews I am very critical. However, with Mövenpick nothing went wrong. It left me dumbfounded. Staff were accommodating helpful - late night demands, housekeeping, non French speaking, my varied demands. They attended to them without batting an eyelid. The rooms were delicately done. Big bathroom showers even with a robe and slippers that were also replaced no questions asked. I didn't lack for anything. They set the bar for me very high. Now I'm left comparing every hotel to them. Hope they can all meet this high bar. I hope and aspire to stay here again.

Now this hotel is well located, at the heart of the business district 'Plateau'. It has so much benefits which I'll discuss later on. First the service is impeccable, every staff member is extremely friendly and welcoming, I guess it's something they have rooted in Ivory Coast culture. They will make you feel comfortable at the first contact and they are very professional. You do not get that very often. The amenities are on point, you have a very well decorated bar, the ambiance is cozy. You get to experience a great buffet with every meal, whether it's breakfast, lunch and dinner. You are offered intercontinental dishes and of course local delicacies. But the executive lounge at the 7th floor takes the crown, it's a posh and cozy eating area, with magnificent view of the city centre. You have multiple restaurants, banks, drug stores, grocery stores surrounding the hotel but everything is closed at night. You have a few options if you want to grab a drink or eat at night that are close-by, I recommend 'La croisette'. I more than recommend this hotel for your stay, whether it is a business trip or for leisure!

Great place. Slept there with the family in their suite an amazing experience during Christmas. Their suite has a special reception and lounge on the 7 floor. We were pampered best hotel so far.

Check-in was good, but once in the hotel, a terrible mess. We had kitchen staff at breakfast that was always angry, they spoke no English and for an international hotel and the standard of the hotel, that is bad and unacceptable. Rooms were kept super clean and house keeping was always helpful which is why I am giving the score of 5 - a special shout out to Mariatou, and the lady at the reception who helped me get an Uber to the office. The food was really bad at breakfast, and first day my colleague was served a spoiled fish. Hotel can do better on breakfast variety

Very friendly staff, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The room was good and the executive lounge was worth it, they had a happy hour at 6:30pm and breakfast and dinner.

Classy and prestigious hotel (but not as prestigious as the Mövenpick in Accra, Ghana) At least, as far as the public spaces are concerned with the ground floor restroom (male) that could be better kept. The Clos 54 is so far my favorite corner in the MHA and the non-alcoholic cocktais are really well made 🍹.

The hotel is in central CBD, good location around cafes .The air conditioning in the room didn't work for the first night, despite changing rooms . The service at the bar , restaurant was good .The food was flavour full but some meats were over cooked and tough on the buffet . The breakfast buffet was great with local and international selection.

I'm not sure how the hotel is rated 5 stars. The service is extremely poor, with no understanding of customer service. Poor breakfast spread with slow responses from staff. Scrambled eggs were out and I waited for over 15 minutes while they kept saying its coming....the hotel could be good if yiu have low expectations for a 4 star hotel

Really enjoyed our stay at mövenpick, the room and toilet are spacious, new. Bed is comfortable. Staff are all friendly and polite and thoes at the front desk spoke good English. We felt welcome. They will set up a chocolate fondue corner in the evening. I think it's around 6pm or 7pm. We got the access to the executive lounge which provides great breakfast, some drinks throughout the day and wines and light bites from 6pm to 7pm if I remember correctly. Good job to the team in mövenpick Abidjan.

In July our daughter celebrated her 18th birthday with 12 of her friends and were well taken care of by Mr Eric and his team. Few weeks later my family had brunch and Mr Eric and his team of Stephanie, Augustin, Cecelia, Patrick and Leontine gave us the best professional service. Well done to Movenpick Abidjan for the excellent quality of service.

By far the best hotel of Abidjan.! The service is like European standards. Very welcoming and attentive! The hotel is new and the installations great. The only thing that is missing is a pool. That would have made the perfect hotel of it. Breakfast on a weekend was a bit chaotic since the lounge is too small for having so many people.. long waiting times. During the week the breakfast was pretty good. Still sometimes too much time to wait for a coffee but still very good compared to other 5 stars hotels in Abidjan! All in all great hotel with the best service I’ve ever experienced in Ivory Coast.

Update: I would like to thank the general manager of the hotel for his interference and solving all the causes behind my frustration. Too bad experience and very disappointed from the hotel. Just checked-in and as a platinum ALL Accor member I am used to be upgraded to a suite as part of the loyalty program. The receptionist Benoit was too rude and he told me you are not eligible a d 7 years I am working in Accor hotels and Platinum members not eligible to upgrade. He told me your reservation doesn't include breakfast, I told him no I booked it with breakfast 20 k cfa per night he insisted that no breakfast. I showed him the email conversation; he left me 20 minutes checking and then told me yes I found it without even a single apology. Shame on the hotel to deal will ALL loyal members like this

We moved from Seen hotel in Abidjan to Movenpick and we indeed got what we paid for. Movenpick gave us 5 star treatment, the staff at the reception Benot and Jean were amazing from check in offering us help and they spoke English we could understand. They were all helpful from the 1st to the last day. The rooms were very clean and well layed out. Fresh smell everywhere and the ambiance was amazing. All we needed was provided swiftly. It was a relief to see different phone charging spots provided as we have a different charging port in my country. At the dinning, the staff and manngers were lovely too. The selection of food was yummy and we had lovely breakfast everyday. Sarah, Ines and the hosts of them at the executive dining room we ate in were amazing. Smiles on their faces and ready to help. I had a cough the last 2 days and they made me this amazing ginger root tea that was just fabulous. I was there with my friend for 7 days, we came for a Made in Nigeria Exhibition which meant long hours out in our booth, so we looked forward to going back to the hotel daily and it was a home away from home for us. The only thing I want your management to check in your rooms is the softness of the pillows. We both slept with the smallest decorative pillow on the bed as the other two were a bit too high for our precious necks. Thanks to the staff at Movenpick for making our stay in Abidjan memorable. Your hotel was indeed a highlight of our stay. I will definitely be back.

Hotel is neat and clean, breakfast is standard. Remember to always put the " Ssrvice my room" tag on the door or they will not clean your room. If you need reliable Internet during your stay, this is not the hotel for you, frequent requests to connect as you are disconnected regularly, don't attempt a Zoom Conference or Teams Meer8ng it will not work, logging onto your companies SVPN will also be an issue. So service is rated at 1 star due to the very erratic Internet connection which a concern considering the R4680 per night bill!

Staff are friendly, rooms are clean, but i found a small bug near the window on the curtain, and a dead worm under the bed on the floor. Overall, the room and the bathroom are very clean and tidy. The bed is very comfortable and the chairs in the room as well, you enjoy sitting on the desk and working all day because the desk chair is very comfortable. We had breakfast at the executive lounge 7th floor, the breakfast is good, delicious and diverse but the lounge has a frying smell. Overall it is a great experience as a first time in this country.
