最近、いわき市に国宝である、白水阿弥陀堂の存在をしり、初詣を兼ねて訪問しました。 平安時代に、建立され１０００年の歴史があるそうです。 １０００年前に作られた建物として、未だに綺麗に残ってるのはすごいと思いました。 また、周囲の山々の存在感が際立っており、紅葉の季節に来たら、かなり見応えあるかと思います。次回はそのあたり時期に、是非行きたいと思いました。 年始の三が日は、拝観料無料です。 情報では、クリスマスにイルミネーションされており、かなり綺麗と言われてますが、その時期は有料のようです。 時期によっては、有料の時があるのかもしれません。 御朱印は、願成寺を含め阿弥陀堂関連の御朱印は、全てこちらの札所に承ってるそうです。 もらう際に、ほしい場所の御朱印を言わないと、自動的に白水阿弥陀堂の御朱印になるそうなので、注意してください。 整備もしっかりときれいされており、駐車場もかなりの台数が停めれます。トイレもちょっと離れていますが、綺麗に清掃されています。 国宝と言うだけに、いわきではおすすめのスポットだと思います。

阿弥陀堂自体は有料ですが、池周辺は無料で利用できます。 駐車場も無料であるため、散歩や紅葉狩り、池にいるカワセミの撮影など様々な目的で利用されているようです。雰囲気も良く落ち着ける場所でした。11月の後半に訪れましたが、紅葉がとてもきれいでした。
