I stayed here by mistake having been caught up in the recent flight cancellations due to UK air network going down. The Hotel was absolutely lovely and the staff very efficient, smart and accommodating. Considering we had descended on them last minute and a very large group we were treated like any guest would hope to be treated. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the Restaurant and choice and presentation of food was second to none. I have made a decision to return at some point in the future and definitely stay at this hotel. l Well done to all the staff you are a credit to your Hotel

Best hotel in İzmir by far. Rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly, food is perfect, spa and pool is clean and relaxing. I don't need to say that the location and sea view are awesome!! I stay here at least once a year even though it's my hometow.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff and excellent location. Their breakfast buffet was fabulous with plenty of options. Darina was the sweetest and was extremely helpful during our entire stay in Izmir. We were even provided with a garden view upgrade. The toiletry they provided were really high quality. The stay did not disappoint whatsoever!!

This hotel is just perfect! The rooms are well designed and very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and has many options! The gym is new and clean. The staff are kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would come back one day!

This hotel: I don’t even know where to begin. I travel for business and boooked this hotel for a couple of times now.every time there is a very relaxed atmosphere. I love the art that they are showing there. Even though it is a very big hotel, you will not feel this at all. The staff is absolutely amazing, they speak very good English but most of all they finale you feel special. This is because all of them are so sweet and nice, making your stay as comfortable as possible. The beds are very good, the shower is perfect and the breakfast is of a whole other level. You will eat to mich. There is a pool, a gym and nice Spa. If you ever go to Izmir, do not hesitate and book this hotel. It will make your stay even more perfect.

It’s a great hotel and staff! People are so kind and polite, and they offer to help all the time. I particularly like the room service staff; they are underrated!! The location is just perfect! You can easily walk to the lake; it’s AMAZING! One thing to keep in mind, book and pay online before coming. When the receptionist saw the euro, he was trying to charge us a way more than the actual price.

It is a very clean and well-located hotel. It could have been a nicer experience if the staff at the reception desk were nicer. When we were checking in, I asked if our room has a sea view and Emre ( the guy at the reception desk) very rudely said "no! you have booked a standard room!". I said well, there was no other option as I was booking, and he teased saying "no there were!" Easily, he could have asked if we would like to upgrade our booking to a sea view one or not. We found his reaction rude and not nice. Also, while doing the check out and returning the room card, I asked him if there is anything else that I need to do and he did not even bother looking at me and just nod! This is not a service that I expect from a 5 star hotel.

The stuff is amazing. Aquarium restaurant is marvelous by itself. But the room has something to fix. When you open a small shower, the big one does not stop to dip with cold water. The included scales does not work. The toilet paper became thin than last year of my stay… and at breakfast no salmon anymore. It’s not a complainant, it is a recommendations 🙏🏻 please continue to be a best hotel in Izmir as before

I went there in July and stayed there 2 nights. Everything was perfect and I experienced delightful experiences there. Very welcoming and friendly staff, clean and cozy room and delicious breakfast. Unfortunately you should pay extra for breakfast, but it’s worth it. I’ll definitely go there again.

It's a great hotel in a great location in Izmir. Modern, stylish. Food excellent. Rooms a little small, but now I am being picky. Staff very friendly and everyone speaks English. Awesome fitness centre and spa. Secure carparking underground for hotel guests. 10 to 15 min walk along the sea front to Alsancak - a bustling and trendy part of the city.

We’re a Swissotel Loyalty Club Premium Member several years now. Last week we stayed at the Executive suit, the room was amazing. We really liked to thank all the stuff. They are always very friendly and ready to help. Ms. Selen from Loyalty Club is always very kind, friendly and professional with her service. We had a very pleasant weekend. Beautiful hotel :) The staff at the SWISS cafe is great. Meal is wonderful. For breakfast you can eat honey in combs :) The room service is wonderful. There is gym. It’s available from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The only thing I didn’t like is that they call from the guest relations desk if you have a “Do Not Disturb” sign hanging for a long time

Outstanding experience! Kendal and the rest of the breakfast staff were very attentive and professional. I would also like to thank Ms. Oznur for her excellent assistance in coordinating multiple personnel for an upcoming conference/event. Her communication skills and experience were incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend the Swiss for any hosted event or as a dining opportunity. You will not be disappointed.

It is our first experience with Swissotel. The service was exceptional. The whole staff was excellent especially Ayse Nur who made us feel good from the first moment. She is professional, helpful and charming. I graduated with a diploma in hotel management and that’s how I would like to see it. We will definitely return to the hotel and will highly recommend it to our friends especially Thanks to Asya.

Perfect hotel! Wonderful room with great view on the bay. Very comfortable bed and very tasty breakfast. Our accomodation was wonderful. Yeah, and very high level of service! We recommend this hotel to everyone!

So, I have to say, this place is more like a third-rate place than much of a grand establishment than it portrays to be…I was here for just a drink and enjoying saturday night by myself at the pseudo high-class looking top floor restaurant they have, just when the waiter suddenly comes and tries to re-locate your seat and says we have customers:) even though there was no previously put “reserved” sign on any of the tables on the porch. (As if you’re supposed to automatically realize) the previous waiter had no issues serving you until another couple showed. I am bound to say here, if another more crowded group of people showed up, they would have replaced them as well:) which is the irony and another waitress comes and asks how are you? whilst replacing your seat) all in all, a horrible service with a horrible staff. By the way, should you go, make sure you double check the prices on the menu…

What a hotel! This place is lovely, the service is top notch, and its a great location to plenty of bars and places to eat. I only spent one night here, a quick stop, but the pool area, staff, and drinks around the pool are great and the staff are always close by to take your next order. The front desk staff were very pleasant, such a good experience during check-in! The executive lounge was super lush, so many food options for evening canapes, yum yum .. and of course a few beers, or liquor if thats your vice. Great spot, enjoyed the quick stay, but it was rather pricey! Comfortable rooms, beds, and pillows, it was great! Thanks!

Ayse is the best! She is head of guest relations and is always attentive to all guests needs. When there was is issue with my room it was immediately resolved and a complimentary gift provided for the oversight. Her attention to detail and warm personality make the Swiss feel like home!

Stayed for 3 nights. Clean and big hotelroom with all facilities you need. Fitness is open for 24/7. Very good and varied breakfast so there's choice enough: croissants, pancakes, cerals and fruit. The restaurant on the 9th floor has a geat view over the bay and has a nice vibe for chilling out after a busy day. Excellent service and very friendly staff that spreaks English. It's located near the center and boulevard (around 10 minuts walk) and 30 minuts from the airport. According to our Turkish business associate, this is the best hotel in Izmir. Booked via Expedia and were the same level as in NL.

I've been here for 11 days now and my experience has been great so far. I ate on the 5th floor, and the food is great but the workers are even better. The management staff are awesome, their recovery time reacting to any phone calls is priceless. The team here so far has provided me with Red Carpet treatment since my first day. How can I forget the workers at the gym, and the room service crew, all I have to say is they are the best. Thanks to Sevda (house keeping) I am in no need for anything, she is awesome. This is why I decided to give a the Swiss Hotel a five star.

During our holidays in Turkey we decided to stay one night in Izmir and chose Swissotel because of its location. The young man at the reception (unfortunately I don’t remember the name) was very helpful and placed us and our son’s rooms at the same floor. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choices. Our waiter Emre was really helpful and at the end of our meal even offered us Turkish coffee. Will definitely return when in Izmir.

We had ten of the most loveliest nights at the Swissotel. We were impressed with the professionalism of all its staff from the efforts of the cleaning staff to the care & consideration of the breakfast & restaurant team and the room service. It was just a stay for 1 night but it felt like 1 week. We had an upgrade and we were over the moon with our suite. The hotel is in the best location for visiting Izmir. I booked a surprise trip for my wife for our anniversary. I contacted the hotel to arrange flowers and so on for my wife and I had the luck of speaking to a lady called Basak Dikbas. Basak was amazing! She arranged everything for me without any fuss and advised me about the hotel’s facilities that I didn’t know about. We had massages in the spa, upgraded to a suite and had use of the executive lounge. I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you want to visit Izmir. It’s suitable for couples and business trips. If you book this hotel ask for Basak Dikbas to help you arrange your stay. I have travelled all over the world and this was by far the best service I have ever received. It was so good I rearranged our plans of visiting the west coast of Turkey so that we can spend our last two days relaxing in the Swiss Hotel and their amazing spa. Basak Dikbas once again has helped with everything in just one phone call.

Great staff, good rooms, and an excellent location. My only complaints are the food and drink prices are inconsistent from location to location across the hotel (room menu is cheaper than downstairs lounge, which is different than pool, etc) and are exponentially higher than the local economy prices (even for a high end hotel). It would also be nice to grab the included breakfast and be allowed to eat in my room without having to order and pay for room service breakfast.

I had a pleasant experience for a one-night stay. The hotel is modern. Everything is beautifully set up conveniently. Huseyin and Dogukan offered great services for my breakfast. I would recommend to stay here if you can.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff was very welcoming until the last day, which was very disappointing. Daughter and I sat outside to have lunch, but was never greeted or asked if we would like to order anything. We stayed for 1 hour hoping someone would greet us. I spoke with the concierge about the issue but he just laughed and said go to the bar. I would've appreciated the same service as everyone else that came before and after us. The room attendents were great and always smiling.

The hotel is clean, quite despite the fact is on main road. The hotel location is perfect near the sea and many shopping facilities and restaurant. The breakfast was having lots of varieties for guests. The team mainly at the reception were welcoming and the night shift helped me a lot to find another place for one night till my check in for the room is available. The staff Mehemet Can who was on the reception was great and very helpful in giving advice where to go and how. One thing should be considered related to maintenance for rooms facilities. I’ll recommend the hotel for friends , relatives and coworkers.

Room is clean and well organized. Staff team is good and friendly. Food is nice and many selection with reasonable price. And during wait for taxi, I am impressed Ms.Eylul who talk to me friendly , provide good suggestion and recommendation for Hotel & place around Hotel. I feel warm welcomed. Great hotel! Has a very good location, just a couple of minutes walking to the coast, where you can find lots of restaurants. The hotel has a beautiful pool and also a spa center (including gym). The breakfast is exceptional! The hotel has also a rooftop bar.

By far one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Amenities are luxurious; beds and pillows top-notch. Enjoyed a water exercise class in the indoor pool while there. Professional staff; awesome service. Beautiful, park-like grounds surround the hotel. Convenient, next to the ocean-front strand (Kordon) in downtown Izmir.

Positives: Amazing staff, friendly and helpful. Great central location, clean. Comfortable beds. Negatives: The hotel is dated. Only 2 English channels of news. No other American entertainment channel. No way to connect to YouTube or Netflix. Buffet breakfast disappointing. Not one single item that actually tastes good in a big spread. Even the omelette is made with canned tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes.

We stayed here on holiday. This is an excellent hotel:Swissotel have obviously made a huge investment in excellent facilities. The staff are helpful and courteous. The Sky bar/restaurant is excellent. The other dining is somewhat limited: if this was improved it would be even better.
