    I stayed at your Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Izmir on August 6th, 2021. The next morning when I wanted to pick up my car, one of your employees damaged my car. Then I reported it to the reception. Meanwhile, some of your employees tried to cover up the damage without my permission. The hotel manager came and listened to the incident. The employee has admitted that he is guilty. He said he would watch the surveillance videos and then get in touch with us. He said that he cannot watch the videos right away because it is against data protection. He said that he would get in touch with me the next day at the latest. He didn't answer. I called him today and he lied to me. I said I would report it to you. But he didn't care at all. I always stay at Hilton Hotels, but I was deeply disappointed by this event. For me, Hilton stands for comfort and safety. Now I ask you, how can that be possible at a Hilton hotel?

    The hotel is very centrally located and walk away from almost everywhere Izmir (bazaar, historical places, beach walk, Kıbrıs Şehitleri Cd, nightlife and restaurants). The breakfast is some limited, but ok. The gym is really small and stuffy. The standard room I was given had no view and it was facing a noisy courtyard. The cleanliness of the rooms was absolutely the worst on the team. The hotel gets two stars just for two reasons, one is the location and the other is the hotel director's kindness and solution orientation. Otherwise, it would have gotten only one star with the thumb down.

    We had a great stay staff was really kind and most of the things were okay. The pool was a total dissapointment. The pictures must be old on the page they have and it causes a misunderstanding. I specially choose this hotel for the pool. I think they change the pool but forgot to delete old photos of the pool. Because the pool they have on the roof is too small and I dont even think that it can be considered as a pool. Other than that I had a nice stay.

    Beware, not a real Doubletree Hilton, hotel lacks basic Hilton standards and amenities, the bathrooms and rooms are very small, shower area designed poorly, not accessible, mini bar is not working, lobby and breakfast area is not acceptable, clearance is very low, claustrophobic, so called pool is only for show, no real use, terrace area is irrelevant, no business center, no garden, no nothing. Only vale and street parking is avaliable. How on earth this hotel can be advertised as a Doubletree Hilton? How could Hilton management ignore these facts and approve this building for the Hilton brand? I've been deceived, if possible I'd like my money back. Vale, F&B and Housekeeping delivers Hilton excellence.

    Small Rooms (Twin Guests Room), Friendly and Professional Staff (Specially roof bar and restaurant staff), Great Breakfast. Don’t forget to bring your toothbrush(not provided) and if your room air conditioner wasn’t working properly, ask for changing it’s filter and be sure that the housekeepers won't remove your key room from the slot that you put on to keep the room weather cool while absent! Restaurant quality price wise (for dinner or lunch) merits definitely 5 stars; fresh and delicious foods. Back view is not beautiful specially in the first’s floors, but sea view is surly beautiful; and about the rooftop pool, it wasn’t a swimming pool for sure, just a tiny plunge pool maybe.

    Do not stay in this hotel if you do not like the smell of cigarette smoke. My colleagues and I have been here for over 3 weeks and from day one we have all complained about the smell of someone smoking with no resolution. If we could have changed hotels we would have. If I could give 0 stars I would.

    Very bad value for the money, did not meet my expactations of the Hilton/Double Tree brand, the experience was more like a three-star no name hotel. Swiss Hotel and Radisson Blu in this area were much better. First of all, hotel management has this untrusting policy of charging a deposit of 50$ as if we will drink everything in the minibar and escape without paying. Personally, I want everything to go very smooth with five minutes tops when I’m checking in an hotel after a tiring journey. I was first given a smoking room without being asked for my preference here, had to go back and change rooms; the clerk was really helpful there though. In the second room, my key card did not work due to a system issue and had to go back to the lobby once more to get this fixed; apparently sometimes there are delays in the card system and it may take up to 10 minutes to have it working. I also learned that the pool was closed by management due to Covid restrictions while there is no such restriction from government, I guess it is much easier to simply close the pool instead of having the precautions. When you put all these together, I was really upset by the time I was able to settle in my room. The room was clean but it had a very heavy air freshner smell, and a really noisy AC; so I did not like the room much neither. It was overall a bad experience for me, I would not recommend this hotel unless you can have a real bargain price and do not have high expectations.

    The Hotel is pretty good on it’s own. But it was one the worst breakfast hotel experiences in my life, because all you can have for breakfast are eggs! Okay, it can be boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, and it comes with a couple of pieces of cheese and a slice of ham, plus a little bit of vegetables, but the main meal can be EGGS ONLY! Maybe it’s just a quarantine restriction, so the people wouldn’t go around all the different choices of food and breathe on it, so they serve you like in a restaurant, but I’m getting sick from this F*CKING EGGS! The breakfast price is 90 TL and it’s eggs only… Also the english level of the restaurant stuff is pretty low, I would even say it’s almost zero.

    Wost hotel experience of my life. They advertised as dinner buffet but because of renovations we were offered just a simple dish with a side salad without options for dietary restrictions. Then we forgot our glasses in the restaurant and they were immediately stolen by the stuff because no one else was there. We informed the management and they tried to cheat us. First the camera was not working, then it was working but they could not find the recordings. Generally awful experience I was ready to sew them but decided to just walk away. We even called the police but apparently they were more friendly with the manager than us. Also the pool was so small and overcrowded so even we could not enjoy this. Highly NOT recommend!!!

    the dirtiest hotel i have ever seen. you see many hair on the pillow and bed when you get in the room at first. although you want them to change cover set, they don't. they just sweep out.

    I booked a room for 2 nights. I got the confirmation WhatsApp message at 13:00, at 15:45 I got another message saying that if I don’t pay by 16:00, I will have to pay one night extra. I made this reservation one week ago and haven’t been informed about this regulation until 15min. before I am supposed to make a payment. The lady on the phone wasn’t helpful at all and I ended up canceling my booking, even though they have told me I could pay upon arrival first.

    Stay away! We checked in at midnight to a stuffy room that stinks from cigarettes, ( no smoking room) no solution was provided for us except of charging us a cancellation fee. The staff were the only rude people we met in Izmir. Stay away this hotel is disgusting

    Our room stank of cigarette smoke really bad even though we had told them we were non smokers. The bathroom had an extreme smell of sewage. It was a shame as the room and bathroom were nice and clean but unfortunately the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke and sewage took away from this.

    Be very careful with your belongings. Do not let the name mislead you into thinking this is a trustworthy hotel. They stole my sunglasses in the presence of cameras. One of the managing personnel said they saw the recording and that one of the restaurant stuff found the glasses and put them in a box but now they cannot find them. But he informed me not to worry and that they would compensate for the glasses. But then another manager came and changed the story. They kept me there all day waiting with many lies and deceit. I would normally leave the hotel in the morning but I stayed one more night waiting. Then not only they refused but when I asked for a refund for that extra night they made me stay they also refused. It is the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. It is clearly not worth the Hilton brand name.

    Rooms were a bit tight for two people. Beds werecomfortable, good shower amenities. Took us a bit to figure out how to manage temperature in our room . Location was great, easy walk to the Cultural park, water front, cafe, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast/brunch options were excellent!!

    For the past two months, I have called DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Izmir-Alsancak my home and it truly was my home. Mr. Ali Kurt (General Manager) and the Team are all ROCKSTARS and incredibly welcoming and are kind and caring. They invited me into their 'hotel home' and I have now left with great friends/family. I have travelled the world and the Team at the DoubleTree Izmir-Alsancak are THE BEST!!! The location is wonderful and in walking distance to everything!! MOST AMAZING ROOFTOP VIEW as well. Truly a wonderful experience on many levels. I will miss the TEAM but I hope to be back for a visit one day in the near future. Thank YOU DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Izmir-Alsancak for making my two months in Izmir such an amazing and memorable one. YOU ALL ARE THE BEST!

    The restaurant staff were really good but the front desk staff weren’t friendly or welcoming. The room was nice and spacious but did have a weird smell in the restroom. The location was pretty good because everything was close by and walking distance.

    Definitely not a real Hilton quality. The rooms are worn out, the breakfast is average, the staff quality is like an average random hotel. I had no bad experience in here for my different stays, it was okay. However, it is nothing close to Hilton experience. Not sure, but in terms of wheelchair accessibility it looks like impossible to go to the rooms without having some steps. I don’t know how they can still keep the Hilton brand for this hotel.

    Good location but overall the hotel is in need of some updates. The price was low but the property should be improved to have the DoubleTree name attached to it. Staff was helpful and friendly and they offer free valet parking.

    We stayed a night on August 10th. When I made the reservations no one mentioned that their rooftop reataurant and pool were closed. I honestly made the reservation at this hotel just for these 2 ammedities because I have a newborn with me and didnt want to leave the hotel. Then the next morning a t breakfast service was horrible. I asked for my coffee and egg 3 times only to just recieve my coffee. Unfortunately the servers were more attentive to female and international customers. Will not be coming back wished I stayed at swishotel very near by.

    When I come another time to Izmir city, i will choose the Doubletree Hilton again! Thank you. The stay was comfortable and the location is 👍 . Just few minutes walking and we are at the pier.

    The hotel is very comfortable and clean. Services of the staff was the worse I’ve ever seen at Hilton. They gave misinformation and overcharged me for room breakfast. This is acceptable but while I was mentioning the issue to the receptionist hanged up the phone. Hospitality which is the key value of Hilton is way below average at this hotel.

    Great hotel, stayed 3 times now. Welcomed in at reception with warm cookies. Room beautiful with great views. Staff lovely and helpful, especially doormen. Valet helpful. Great rooftop pool and views across sea/izmir. Stayed 2018/19 and going back end of month. Good position near shops, sea, shopping centre, Konak pier etc.

    The stay was wonderful. Hotel very well located and services work as they were supposed to. All the staff I had contact was friendly, polite and efficient. Room was of good size and clean. Breakfast was good and food at the restaurant was tasty and well prepared.

    I don’t know why people gave so much negative comments, I stayed one night fine. Room is good, no issue. Staff members are friendly, valet parking is fine. Breakfast is good. Top floor terrace was reserved by private event when I came up there but it’s open. I would definitely stay again.

    Hi After 2 years without traveling for business i have done my first one in Izmir and i stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Izmir - Alsancak. This was the best decision that i could have done. The hotel has great focus on customer safety regarding the pandemic. From cleaning the rooms done properly to the personnel that was serving the breakfast. I felt very safe and protected by all the action taken by the staff. I strongly recommend this hotel and for sure i will return

    The hotel staff doesn’t speak English at all , zero level. They can be as nice as they can but when you can’t communicate properly so that makes the experience very unpleasant. We couldn’t order room service because they don’t understand what we want, check out was horrible since the receptionist didn’t know English and didn’t even tried to call someone that can speak to us instead. On top of that she wasn’t nice at all and didn’t see any problem with the fact she doesn’t know English, she was extremely rude and unpleasant. I definitely don’t recommend this hotel.

    The room was very hot and there was a bad smell of sewage outside the room, I asked them to solve the problem and they said they could not do anything. I emptied the room at 3 in the morning, when you can not rest in a room overnight, why should you pay for it ?! The outdoor pool and restaurant are closed, the room service is not active under the pretext of Corona, but you can use it in other hotels in Izmir. The support of this hotel only opened a case for me but it did not take care of me, I was one of Hilton's customers but I no longer trust this brand.

    Great GREAT GREAT SERVICE, GOOD AND FRIENDLY STAFF. We stayed there for 3 days, we enjoyed every minute of it. From front desk to housekeepers to breakfast staff, everyone were great. Little poor breakfast choice for Indian vegetarians, but overall not bad, as Chef did prepare some vegetarian food us. Really enjoyed it.

    The hotel is nice, the view was not the best and it was a little bit of a walk to some places but overall the location was decent. The rooms were okay, but not the most up-to-date and our room was above the restaurant fans which meant some odors were emitted. However, what made the experience great was the service provided by the employees, from the moment we checked in, to the level of care the waiters and ushers provided. They really made us feel welcome and made the stay far more smooth. The breakfast and other meals that we had in the restaurant were also excellent and we often chose to stay in and eat. Also, the rooms are very regularly cleaned and stocked up with essentials. Overall, deffo recommend it.

    a very good hotel, we only stayed one night but it was great from the reception, the room, the cleanliness and the varied breakfast. The staff is very kind . the only point that I did not appreciate was the hammam spa which was expensive 40 us $ per person for a simple 10 minute bath. if not the rest of the hotel was perfect

    Cant say enough about this hotel and management. never seen a more cheerful and happiest staff. Rooms: i had reserved a deluxe room and when i entered the room, realized it was smoking room. staff informed me that floors 2 and 3 are for smoking guests. So i was moved to the 9th floor into a suite. This review is not based on my upgrade. it is based on my entire experience as 3 couples who were in 3 different rooms. Breakfast: huge variety, fresh and very clean. Staff is very attentive and always going above and beyond. They heard me on day 1 ask if they had grilled haloumi cheese and they said no. few minutes later they brought it to me after a staff member mentions it to the chef. i love Hilton family and have tried other hotels but no one compares to them.
