We stayed two nights in this hotel. The first room was located a the last stage is ne it was a chicken coop. The ceiling was very low, the bathroom toilets very small the shower head was broken. We asked to change the room for the second night which was better but located near the noisy street. We couldn’t sleep well, we paid 40€ per night it was awful.

This hotel is the worst hotel that I have stayed it. The room is awkwardly designed, dirty, dusty and noisy. We checked in yesterday 19.10.19, and we were forced into upgrading as we initially booked a standard room and we agreed to pay extra for the upgrade, but we felt that we couldn't say no as the receptionist was persistent on the upgrade.
The room overlook a very noisy road, we might as well have slept on the curb, we didn't sleep at all as it felt that the local residents we up all night.
In regards to the cleanliness of the room, it was filthy, dusty, soap dish not cleaned, AC remote was filthy, sheets had blood mark's. The bed squeaked all night and when we tried to see the reason for that, we pulled the mattress and were shocked to see how filthy under the mattress was. I am asthmatic and found it really difficult to breath due the the amount of dust.
Secondly we were shocked to find the tiwles and bed sheets damp and wet. We went to reception to ask for dry one but they said that they are busy and as a result they do not have dry sheets or towels.
We had to go to bed wearing our coats and socks as we did not have any covers.
Please avoid this place if you can not ideal at all even for a short stay! We checked out after one night stay.
In short this hotel is:
1- Very noisey
2- Dirty
3- Wet/damp sheets and towels
4- Badly designed

The staff is really friendly and helpful! The hotel itself has no much expectation since its a really cheap one. The location is not really cool. It's in the middle of a quarter that it looks quite dangerous. There are no.many supermarkets amd restaurants around. But for a night is just perfect ( if you are someone who adapts very easily).

Rooms are old smelling and note clean. Staff is nice. Location is close to city center and other main locations to visit in Izmir. Only problem if you have large luggage it will be torture to carry it to hotel on bumpy stone road. The area is occupied by refugees from asia so not safe for foreign alone ladies.

The prices were good and it was a clean and also beautiful hotel, the owners were so nice and kind, breakfast we had was pretty good. The only thing is that you may feel a bit uncomfortable becaue of some noises coming from outside and even though the hotel is so close to the main road and the city center and the sea, the neighbourhood wasn't that good and didn't feel safe,

Hotel itself was fine but the location is very unpleasant. I felt very unsafe in the area. Lights in the room did not work, room was not very clean. We moved to a different hotel for the next night.

Not a great hotel compared to the price you pay. 2 on 3 light bulbs in the room didnt work. Not convenient if you come with your car. The location is good though. Not far from city center and near many place that you need to visit when coming to Izmir.

Room was quite small and not so clean. We did not feel that the neighbourhood was safe to walk at night. Thankfully there was a garage downstairs for my motorcycle. Friendly people in the hotel.

Excellent value for money when I arrived and asked for a room. The room was clean and basic (as you expect at this price), with quiet air conditioning. Staff were very friendly and helpful with various requests. The breakfast was excellent, the best of the 5 budget hotel breakfasts I experienced during my trip in Turkey. Lots of coach companies can be found beside the nearby city centre roundabout, as well as the train station. I had a day trip to Ephesus from here before returning to Istanbul on a night bus (tip: book the Istanbul bus several hours in advance as they all get full).

Good place overall. I booked a room online but it was bad. Then they charges me 20 tl more for a better room

interesting neighbourhood. Good value for an air conditioning room, ideal for one night stay... I wouldn't stay there a second night or a second time. They have a private one car garage, if you are a likable person they would probably let you have it for the night. If you are not familiar with driving down narrow and I mean hardly 2 car narrow streets, dont you dare coming down here. The breakfast team was not very nice...

Very good place for short stay, the owner two brothers will take care of every guest, I recommend this place. If you stay in Basmane this is your place.

The hotel is fairly central near the centre of Basmane, Izmir. the main problem is they don't have a lift, and they have 5 floors, as you can imagine, Arda, the owner manager is very friendly and helpful, I did have some problems with the night receptionist smoking in the doorway, but he stopped after the manager told him not to do it. They have a fridge and a reasonable breakfast which is quite filling, at the time I stayed there they charged 130 TL/night with breakfast, but that may have gone down they're all the tourists have evaporated. Access is difficult because of the narrow old roads, I don't recommend you try and take a car there.

The staff is amazingly friendly. The comfort was better than our expectation due to the economical prices. Location was very useful for us. It's like 10 minutes to everywhere. I have read a couple of comments before writing this. You people keep surprising me with the discontentment you have. Yes, the rooms are tiny but clean. We were pretty happy with the precautions they take for the covid 19. Its likely for me to stay there another time. Cheers.
