Basmane'de tesadüf eseri bir inşaat sırasında ortaya çıkan Antik Smyrna kentinin kalıntılarının M.Ö. 4. yüzyıla ait olduğu düşünülüyor. Şu an ziyarete açık olmayan alanda kazı çalışmaları devam ediyor. Çevresi tel örgü ile kaplı olduğundan uzaktan görme şansınız var.
