(Translated by Google) The mosque, which was started to be built by Hacı Ahmet Şalepçioğlu in 1895, was completed in 1905. It has a beautiful and majestic structure, a mixture of Ottoman and baroque architecture, and there is Şalepçioğlu inn right across the mosque.

It was opened for worship in 1896, with a capacity of 450-500 people. It is one of the most beautiful mosques in our country. In my opinion, it is the number one historical mosque in Izmir. It's beautiful from the outside, but it's different when you get inside. One can't get enough of looking at it. May God bless those who had it done and those who contributed.

For me, it is the most beautiful mosque in Izmir, there is no need for long words, we are addicted to such beauties... The garden should be well-maintained and well landscaped, it would be nice if the pool was operated during the daytime.

Yet another old mosque in the heart of the city and this one, in the chaos of the pazar. Nothing particularly interesting or beautiful about this one. The high and elaborate decorated ceiling is always impressive. But certainly worth a short 10 minute look inside (remove your shoes, leave outside the carpet area, naturally), if for no other reason, a quiet, calm, cool break from the souk. Women can go up the circular stairs for a better view.

A beautiful mosque at the back exit of Salepçioğlu bazaar. It was built in the early 1900s. The architecture is a mixture of Gothic and Ottoman architecture, as was the trend of the period. Its historical atmosphere and interior architecture are very beautiful. If you are in Kemeraltı, be sure to visit.

When we went between afternoon and evening, only the entrance part of the mosque was open. Maybe it happened to us like that, I don't know. The mosque is very beautiful. There are also such mosques in Ayvalık.

👍 One of the most important touristic sites of izmir. There's no need to buy a ticket as this monument is part of an urban space. The plaza is so lively even at midnight. Also, there are various restaurants, cafes and pubs. Also, the ancient bazar is close by.
