A very beautiful Church building with a fascinating "Old technology" museum. Church building looks stunning and has inscriptions in Greek. Church can be easily reached from Basmane metro/train station. Entry is free both for Church and Museum but make sure to carry a valid identity proof. There are no Sunday services (might change afterwards). Don't forget to see Church from balcony, it looks beautiful!

This is the restored (2014) greek orthodox church in Izmir called St. Voucolos or Saint Voukolos, Άγιος Βουκόλος.

The church is well restored. It's open to visitors and free to enter.

I like this orthodox church converted in concert space and the little press/journalism museum in the garden.

Nice building, but the exhibition was a bit small, and from outside is really looks like the museum is closed...

The church is restorated and provides a perfect ambiance for classic music performances. İf you want to visit at night, be in groups ( Basmane is not so safe at nights according to locals!!!!)
