I traveled solo but connected with a mixed religious group of 8 to tour Ephesus and all it's magical surroundings. I'm Catholic and was interested in seeing the Virgin Mother Mary's home and John the Baptists grave site. First, all in my group at the holy site were nothing short of all-inspired, envoking an emotional and spiritual connection like no other; not a dry eye here, feeling the presence of something greater, peace, hope... priceless. We all received so much more than expected and treated to a picnic in what looked like a Napa orchard, served 5 course traditional meal family style. The tour guide spoke English well. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I've traveled the world and this is one destination that I wished I could have spent more time. Most importantly, in times where peace is challenged, we felt and were safe. I will be back. Thank you!

Last time we used their service from Kusadasi Port, but now our hotel in Izmir. This is our second time using this company. We were promptly picked up in a private, clean, air conditioned shuttle. The drive to Ephesus breathtaking. Our guide explained the scenery- from the city to the countryside with interesting facts and stories along the entire ride. The guided tour of Ephesus was nothing short of exceptional. Our guide let us move at whatever pace we wanted. He was full of historical facts as well as information pertaining to the future of this site. Visiting the rug making facility afterward is a must! My outlook of Turkey has completely altered after this visit. Media focuses on the small, occasional bad parts of a large country. The people are so genuine and kind... even willing to make friends with a group of Americans- unlike many in the world. These spots in Turkey are crucial to any bucket list, and this specific tour does a fabulous job in directing you the entire way.

The whole tour experience is exceptional. Our tour guide Hakan, was very attentive with us and well informed in every sense. We felt we’re taking the tour with a friend all the time. I would strongly suggest to book your tour with this company. No just because of the service, but for the overall experience we had. We perceived they really put an effort to make us feel comfortable and to give us the best impression of Ephesus, which it did, indeed.

Yesterday we took a tour to Ephesus (incl. House of Virgin Mary and Temple of Artemis) and I can highly recommend this agency. Our tour guide was Hakan, he picked up us timely at 9am in our hotel in Izmir and spent with us the whole day. His knowledge was very admirable, he was also very energetic and kind to reply all our questions, always checking if we were ok, giving us our time for pics and being very honest about any additional cost. He simply did a great job and we enjoyed our visit to Efes thanks to him to the maximum. He also took us to pottery/leather/carpet factory, but we werent obliged to buy anything at all. Also the lunch was just delicious and for excellent price, no tourist trap. Additionally I would like to mention that there is no better opportunity to visit this place than now, due to COVID there are almost no people and every tourist counts in order to support local businesses.

I have used Izmir Ephesus Tours twice in the last year when I had company come to Turkey. They are a wonderful tour company and very reputable. I’ve had an amazing adventure each time I’ve gone. They really add to the experience with history you’d miss without their guidance. I highly recommend them!

In 2017 I took my elderly parents on a tour with Hakan. He was so awesome, I booked him again to take my three teenagers. It is such a WONDERFUL way to see Ephesus - I can’t imagine doing it any other way. Hakan is special in the sense that he tailors the trip to your needs. This time we were able to see more and experience some of the local culture and trade. The kids LOVED the trip. They were inspired. They are comparing all of the food in Turkey to our garden lunch we had. Hakan even arranged a birthday cake for one of the kids since it was his birthday. From the teenagers perspective, the private van, skipping the lines for tickets and Hakan’s impressive command on the English language made it a trip of a lifetime. They even got to try their hand at making pottery. Just a wonderful company. Wonderful guide. WORTH EVEY PENNY!! You won’t be sorry if you book this tour.

Wir haben zwar keine Tour mit denen gemacht, wurden aber von denen an jemand anderen vermittelt, da die an dem Tag keine freien Touren mehr hatten. Hakan hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben uns zufrieden zu stellen und war steht's sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hätten wir an einer seiner Touren teilgenommen, bin ich mir sicher, dass wir sehr zufrieden gewesen wären. İch würde eine Tour bei ihm allein schon deshalb empfehlen, weil er schon bei der Vermittlung sehr professionell und hilfsbereit gearbeitet hat.
