One of the best things we did in Izmir! They don’t speak English but were so accommodating and we didn’t feel intimidated at all. We got the scrub + massage. First they lead you to the sauna room to wash yourself and then they bring you to the main room with a marble slab and scrub you all over before giving a massage while washing you down with soap - includes hair wash too! Total cost was 190lira each. Wish we were staying longer in Izmir to come again. Note there are two entrances, one for women and one for men.

Nice hamam. Not very modern. But even more interesting being so old. Feels like a historical place. Bath + massage package - 220 tl, cash only. Massage was very good. Also they provide black tea, prepared on a wooden stove right there in the hall. They have Wi-fi there, free for patrons. There is a small pull, but unfortunately there was no water in it.
