I came here with my kids as a tourist and of course did not have a transportation card from MI which is required to be able to enter to the station and there were no places we could buy it and automatic machines were accepting only recharge MI card option (but in fact they have option to purchase new card, but today they were out of cards and were accepting only recharge). Personnel of the station tried to explain us how to do it (in spanish which we did not understand) but soon they realized that we do not understand and just let us in without any charge. It is 5 star service, thank you. This place worth to be, it is amazing experience and I recommend 100 percent. This is not a touristic attraction, it is regular transport for Mexicans. The view is beautiful, but it is flying over the regular (not rich) neighborhood, so you only see top of the regular houses.

It's a really nice trip. Yes it's not intended as a tourist attraction, and the area is not very touristic. But you have an amazing view on the volcanos, on many cool painted roof tops and the city. Depending on the current smog level far view can be limited. If you are doing the full length of the cable bus 2 route and are coming from the city center by public transport, plan a lot of time. The two end points are relatively far out and it can take you up to an hour to get there and then as well for the return way. Still worth it in my opinion!

The trip was fantastic. Beautiful views of the city. Have to buy a card, which is hard to find, for the fare. We asked another patron if he would allow us to use his card and pay him the fare

This 10.6km long cable car route is the longest in the world. You can see hundreds of murals painted on walls and flat rooftops as you travel. This is not a tourist attraction but it is well worth the 90-minute round trip from Constitucion de 1917 to Santa Marta. You need to purchase a transport card (these are available from machines in metro stations and some bus stops) and make sure it has at least $1.40 on it.

Excelente servicio! Felicidades cdmx. Lo disfruté mucho!!

Great relaxing ride! FYI You have to get off halfway to switch to a different car.

Nice possibility to explore the areas outside...maybe better only from above.
