Beautiful interior decor. The octopus was perfectly grilled and quite tasty, and very large portion! The let down was the cocktails which are what we came for because they seem so cool on the menu/social media. Unfortunately, they were huge and very sweet. Reminded me of resort drinks and not in a good way. They also are not garnished nearly as nicely as they are advertised. Usually not a big deal as long as they taste good but these were far too sweet and big. We had 6 of their signature ones. Also, there was maybe 5 tables occupied in the whole place, but things took a very long time to arrive to our table. Also, it was very weird that they blocked off the stairs so you can't leave except via elevator. Seems a little dangerous. And just a note, they don't want you coming and going, so they allow smoking indoors. There is very good ventilation but I imagine that if the place is packed full of smokers, that may bother some people. It wasn't a problem for us.

AVOID THIS PLACE FOR YOUR SAFETY. THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO REACH OUT PER BELOW COMMENT- THEY HAVE FAILED TO DO SO. BAD PR STUNT. At night, this place is turned into a club called Salón Solín. I got a deep second degree burn on my right leg by the candles that they placed on the ground (no barrier between the crowd and the candles). Right after I was burned, I asked for a first aid kit, and they didn’t even have that, instead they poured rubbing alcohol on my leg which burned off another layer of my skin. I revisited the location days after my burn and asked management to remove the candles for the sake of safety, and they responded “we will not because we want to uphold the aesthetic.” Then I asked for them to cover my medical bills, they responded that they will only do so if I were to win in court. I have since spent roughly $300 USD on doctor visits and treatments. I can’t believe the lack of empathy and responsibility they have for their customers and employees. Not to mention, this place is a giant fire hazard!

Amazing atmosphere and vibe + mezcal selection. Friends really liked the seafood but the ribeye was pretty salty 8/10

We were forced to pay a random, unitemized amount to exit this bar. I've worked in many bars and restaurants and I honestly can't believe the way we were treated here. We weren't offered the check for 1.5 hours after asking for it multiple times. The waiter kindly responded that the "system" was was down, which is understandable but still 1.5+ hours is a very long time to wait for the check. After two hours they said they still couldn't offer us a bill. They also wouldn't let us speak to a manager. We asked a third time for the bill and they gave us a random amount to pay in cash to exit the bar, which we didn't have. Bouncers were guarding the door. We said we didn't have enough cash to leave and suddenly the card reader worked and they charged the card for an amount amount we didn't get an itemized receipt for. We felt we were held hostage at this bar and didn't get to know what we owed or pay an amount we thought was fair to exit this bar. Sadly, I never write negative reviews but don't go here.

We were really excited to eat here but once we got inside the music was so loud. I mean, piercing. They were playing the kind of music that would be better in a club, not a seafood restaurant. No one in the entire place was talking because you would have to scream at each other. It would be a much better experience if they played authentic Mexican music at a lower volume so you could enjoy your company.

This place has a nice vibe and overall, the food and drinks were on point. The prices are on the expensive side (just a heads up) and the music is loud for dinner hours - I can see this as a plus if you’re coming late at night. I think there are cheaper eats in the area but this place is still overall nice. The vibe is great and I really enjoyed the seating area.

Was impressed by the presentation of the food but the flavours and quality wasn't the best. Had the shell fountain - oysters were impressive by size not flavour and the other shellfish wasn't the freshest. You could taste the fishiness whereas if it was fresh it would be sweet. Nice bar area but they have so many TV around playing football it felt like a sports bar.

The atmosphere was great, it's on the second floor, a very cozy vibe to the place, tastefully decorated! It was not busy, three tables occupied at 2100 on a Monday night. The service was top notch. The food was great except the oysters were VERY small and over saturated with garnishments. The regular margarita was the best I ever had!

Everything was fine, the food came correct and it didn’t take too long. The food is a little expensive but it is quality. The service was acceptable, we enjoyed our time. The problem was when paying, the mesero requested a specific (higher than average) percent for propina, and we respectfully offered what we thought was acceptable, the server asked us if his service was bad then demanded to know why we didn’t give him the extra and, it wasn’t, but that doesn’t mean we have to tip him more (or at all for that matter) he then aggressively handed the terminal to my partner, and when we gave it back and said thank you, he didn’t even look at us and stormed away without a word. We ALWAYS tip and we ALWAYS tip extra for exceptional service and average for average service. This wasn’t a case of us being cheap but a case of him being so rude. It made us both incredibly uncomfortable and although this was not our first or second time there, it was so uncomfortable, we decided that we wouldn’t ever go back. I think the management is encouraging the staff to do this and we empathize that is how they make their money but it was truly such a cringe experience for the customer. I really hope that they stop doing this.

Food is decent, but service is not. Carefully read your check. I was ordering to go, and really didn’t need to, but told the waiter to add a 10% tip, only later I found out he added 20%.

This was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. In any country. High end steak houses, fresh catch of the day in the Indo-Pacific, can't stop eating dives, and this is at the top of the list. The food was spectacular. The presentation, the service, the atmosphere was just fantastic. The drinks... Possibly the best margarita in my life. I definitely cannot think of a better one than here. If you're in Mexico City, and you like food and cocktails, this place is an absolute must.

Amazing food, outstanding atmosphere and really good drinks made for a pleasant surprise. We ended up staying longer than intended and wanted to come back. By far some of the best food we tried on our trip. The DJ was amazing!!! We had an overall great time. (Only drawback is it was very warm inside) I'm still craving the duo de aguachiles de callo de hacha. Realmente bueno!

Beautiful place, fantastic staff. The food is ok but they put too much sauce or too much fried batter or too much something. The shared plates that come with a bottle are probably better.

Place has a nice festive decor. I really liked the atmosphere. I was shocked though that a couple of patrons next to us and nearby were smoking cigarettes. NEVER in my life have I experience this at a restaurant, never. I asked to move and they let us move to a place of our choosing, no apology even though there are signs that say no smoking. As nice as this place was, in reality it was a ghetto restaurant wearing a Gucci belt. Drinks were well crafted, food was not too bad so if cigarettes don't bother you than try it out otherwise stay away.

I came to la pescadería with my girlfriend and friends for watching one the quarter finals of the worldcup. We have made the reservation already one week in advance to be all set for a nice afternoon- after arrival (exact on time) i was told to wait in the line, step by step we made our way to the “reception” and to our surprise we were told that the restaurant was overbooked and we are gonna be moved to another restaurant (a steakhouse - called: la Provoleta) 1) the hostess didn’t apologize for the inconvenience, she was even rude and unfriendly to us 2) we don’t even eat meat (that’s why we choose a fish place) 3) it was 10 minutes walking distance!! 4) no one called us neither contacted us beforehand in order to ask or inform us After a few discussions we gave up and went to the “new” place and to our surprise - it was also booked out. Nevertheless they made space for us and we had overall an ok experience. Personally for me it was the last time to come to la pescaderia because this behavior was unacceptable. Also what’s the point to make reservations if those are anyways ignored / changed…

The caldo de camarones was delicious. Tortilla chips they brought out to start were stale. Staff was very lovely and professional.

Loud house music, and a series of running television screens unfortunately distracted from what could have been a good experience. Most of the food was really good, but we will not come again and I can not recommend this place. All in all a bad and stressful dining experience.

Good music, nice atmosphere, and service is top notch, my waiter was very attentive. However, the food is nothing special, clams and oyster were not fresh. One big problem, they allow people smoking inside.

If your looking for fresh seafood in the Roma/ Condessa area this is the place for you. Everything we tried was amazing. They have great drink specials as well. My favorite was the octopus dish.

Really good food. Hope you enjoy shrimp as all the plates have shrimp on them. Waiters a bit pushy for tips, but such is life here.
