Take the plant tour. It shows you step by step what it takes to build a car. From the foils of roles steel, through the creation of the door and other metal part shapes, through the assembly line, all the way to a finished car. Very interesting. Very good English tour guide with good and interesting explanations. Before the plant tour we watched the skoda history movie followed by a tour in the museum. That was also interesting, but the plant tour was superb 😀

Super good! Exposition is not too big to bore the kids, there is a very nice and inexpensive restaurant. Also really good art is exhibited. Parking is not too big, but there are free parking on nearby streets.

Skoda museum located in the premises of Skoda factory in Mlada Boleslav in Czech republic. It has very nice and beautiful collection of cycles and vintage as well as modern cars developed by Skoda brand. It's must see for automobile lovers and admirers. The entire collection is excellently displayed and proper information is also showcased.

Really nice place, very pleasant exposition. According to my opinion much nicer than VW museum (as that one is exposed in really heavy industry environment and seems like whole museum was forgotten in past years in Germany). Also we loved interactions possibilities. We want to visit it again, but with our 8yo son. Great job done Skoda!

Buy full package with the guide. Depository has a few unique samples (another building). Greatest part is factory. Walking along cars being made on your watch. Starting from metal sheets, ending as a ready to drive vehicle. One car made every minute. You won't see all process but certainly some interesting parts of it. Highly recommended.

A great place to learn about Czech auto history on a day trip from Prague. The admission rates aren't bad (check their website) and there tour guide was very knowledgeable. We were a bit late, so it got cut short but she still covered key points and let us see the inaccessible prototype gallery. They have a nice gift area too for your auto friends.

Pretty fun! You have multiple activities to learn about the cars. Like vr racing games and a vr tour in Prague. You can also come to view the cars and eat at the cafe. Overall I recommend visiting!

koda Museum in Mladá Boleslav, located a short distance from the Bondy Center shopping center and the bus station on Třída V. Klementa. Up to 500 exhibits can be seen here, including 46 cars, a number of motorcycles and bicycles from the long history of Škoda Auto and the founding duo Laurin & Klement. The museum exhibition is divided into three thematic areas, where the first, called Evolution, contains the most important Škoda products up to the latest studies, including the first seven-horsepower car from 1906, the 720 Spider racing car, the Škoda 1100 OHC and the Super-Sport, in the Traditions section is cars from different periods, including motorsport, the evolution of the logo and personality and events associated with the brand.

Very nice place, beautiful history of skoda company. The museum offers a lot of old historical skoda models with rich description as well as concept cars that served as inspiration for current models.

Way too small exhibition for such a big company, with such a rich history and present model portfolio as well. Tatra Museum in Koprivnice is bigger and better, even though Tatra is no longer on the market (except for trucks of course). I also regret there were no electric Favorit and Octavia anymore on the stand. To sum up, museum is definitely worth seeing, but for me it should be five times bigger and more interactive.

Also a part during our vacation near Pilsen in october 2019. About 2 hours to drive from Pilsen, but worth the trip. The entry was cheap and also the souvenirs didn't feel pricy (for German comparison). We were able to walk through the museum alone without a guide, which I personally liked a lot, others may not. The highlights were the prototypes and the historical cars stacked up in a huge shelf.

I thought the inside had some great exhibits. It just felt so sterile. I felt removed from the history of skoda. The staff at Desk and in restaurant were fantastic . It just looked more of a business conference centre. My old car made it back 60 years later though.

I was very disappointed, the museum is very small, it has almost no interactive features (you can’t even touch the displayed airbags), the cinema clip was completely pointless and very difficult to watch with all the quick cuts and mirrored images. We didn’t get to see any of the 1990+ models, which is a shame. Based on the photos here it looks like they change the display quite often. It feels more like a regional museum than an official Skoda museum, it’s not modern or sophisticated. I would also expect them to have more things for children, since they make up a big portion of the visitors. All the kids there seemed extremely bored and just wanted to drive around on the little toy cars. If you want to see the factory, you need to book weeks in advance.

Skoda as a car manufacturer is well known in europe. Company has a great history and employees are proud of it. Skoda museum reflects it. During visit you can check, how Skoda became one of the most important car producers. From the old cars, through historical racings cars into the future concepts - everything in one place. If you are near to Mlada Boleslav, it's something you must visit.

(Translated by Google) A little disappointment. The advertisement for IG was that there would be a new Enyaq IV car in the museum, which was only until the end of September (why ?!). A really small museum, which, as someone has already written here, is without a story, without a soul, without anything deeper. Cars on the shelves are not properly visible (not even on the "balcony") and not all of them. Great potential that has not been fulfilled and this museum would not be harmed by much more space, more cars and more depth. Interactive issues were down.
