Upon entering the brewery, I was warmly greeted by the bar tender. She was knowledgeable, passionate, and eager to make the tasting experience enjoyable. Her friendly demeanor immediately set the tone for a fantastic visit. The service provided throughout the tasting was nothing short of excellent. The bar tender took the time to guide me through the different beers available, offering detailed explanations of the brewing process, ingredients used, and the characteristics of each beer. She was patient in answering my questions and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. Her expertise and passion for their craft were truly remarkable. Will definitely visit again.

This is a nice place for casual dining, Lots of craft IPA beers. They even let you try a few. The food was amazing. I had the Coastal chicken and she had the Brewery steak. Our favorites now. Thanks Jekyll Brewy for a very nice experience in casual dining!!!

Nice brew pub style restaurant. The beers are not brewed on site but brought in from their main location. The food was as expected for the style restaurant, fried pickles were a little spicier than average, gator came in large nuggets.

Big fan of the beers and the environment. A welcomed change to the bar scene since Ruby left. We had the charcuterie plate. A small piece of sausage, cured pork belly, pimento cheese, frozen grapes, celery, and saltine crackers. Not really worth the $24 price tag. Easily the most underwhelming and overpriced charcuterie plate I’ve had. And when you think “I’ll just go to Wine Bar,” that’s a good thought, keep it. Pretty disappointing in terms of dip to cracker ratio. Glad I had a buddy with me to share part of her pretzel. And to the young man who said he would bring us more crackers, we are still waiting. The burger was good. So were the 6 crackers.

Drove all the way from Saint Johns county to try this place. Got seated, hostess was sweet. She took us upstairs and we were seated and waited about 15 minutes, no one came to take our order. The hostess seated another table, a waitress with blonde braids came out and yelled at her in grin of everyone telling her to stop seating people upstairs. Totally embarrassing her. We waited 14 more minutes and another table was seated and still no service. Finally, a gut comes out and recognized the people that were seated last and took their order while we still never got acknowledged. We left. Customer service sucks.

Visited Jekyll Brewing twice in one week and I believe it will become a JB staple! On Tuesday we sat on the upstairs deck for happy hour with their awesome ocean view. Excellent service by Corey and the Crawfish Hushpuppies were great - good flavor, unique take, hot & great portion size. The fried pickles (small chips not spears) were predictably very salty and the batter was crisp. Upstairs was about half full and service was very fast, knowledgeable and friendly! Saturday night we went for a meal and Jekyll was beyond full. Our entire table ordered the Smash burger and shared the crab dip - which we all loved. Service was slow (nearly an hour from ordering burgers to food arriving) but understandable as Jekyll was bursting and I assume working out new restaurant kinks. On Saturday they were out of both lagers and the hushpuppies which was a bummer as I wanted both, but at the same time I’m glad they’re so busy. Because we enjoyed every dish (and almost every beer) we tried: five stars. My only real complaint is the noise upstairs when busy. Sitting inside we discovered it’s deafeningly loud as the ceiling has no insulation. It’s a cool aesthetic but really not functional. We couldn’t hear our server and were yelling at one another across the table. I also hope in the coming months service becomes faster when busy and they’re fully stocked on weekends. Jekyll Brewing will be in my week night rotation for sure and I recommend you try it! If you can’t stand loud restaurants, be sure to sit outside, and if you want quick service, I’d stick to week nights.

Had a great lunch at Jekyll. We sampled some beers before buying - Spencer was super cool and patient with us while we made our decision! Brown Ale / Shandy IPA were super cold n tasty. We ordered the chicken sandwich to split (which they did split into separate plates for us! Super appreciated!) it was awesome, full of flavor and dressed/served perfectly. Didn’t fall apart in our hands or anything which is always a pain. Anyway, service was awesome, food was awesome, menu is all from-scratch and a nice (but not too big) variety.

It had been a rainy week and Saturday morning the rain stopped and the sun came out so we thought we'd go try this place out before taking a walk on the beach. We arrived a few minutes after noon and assumed they would be packed. As we were walking toward the restaurant my wife and I looked at each other and said "Oh no, they aren't even open"! It appeared dark inside and we couldn't see any patrons or employees and there was no one sitting outside on the patio. Another couple walked up at the same time and thought the same thing. I finally went over and pulled on the door and found it was open so we entered. We asked the hostess where everyone was and she just kind of shrugged. We asked to sit on the upstairs patio. The beer was very good, lots of great choices. The service was also good. The only disappointment was the size of the hamburger relative to the price. We ordered the double patty burger for $20 and were shocked to see that it wasn't much bigger than a Krystal hamburger. And if it had two patties it was really hard to tell because they were so thin. The taste was OK, and the fries were great but it just wasn't a good value.

Started out slow as they were out of the first few beers we wanted...we laughed and asked hey you do sell beer right! They redeemed themselves fun place, Great staff, Good beer especially the lineup of browns. Food was really good as well we ordered the oysters and charcuterie board. The manager was very attentive and interesting to visit with. Our bartender upstairs was very pleasant and I hope they offer her a meal even though I cannot remember her name! Wishing you all the best fun place

After much review and the quick visit before I went in I actually came back just for one beer ended up staying for two because it was so good I got the Cooter brown ale and boy is it great. I sat out on the front where they have a bunch of tables that overlook the street and watch people go by dressed up in their costumes. really nice staff made me feel welcome.

Absolutely love this new place in Jax beach! The food and drinks are amazing, and the service all 3 times I’ve gone has been incredible. Jake is one of the most friendly and personable servers around! You’ve gotta ask him to do the water trick for you!

We were here the first weekend they opened and overall it was a really good experience. The staff was really nice and we had quick service. They had a limited menu which is completely understandable. We got the fries with comeback sauce and they had really good seasoning, I wish they were a little crispier but that was my only complaint about the whole experience. We got a flight and all the beer was delicious! The upstairs balcony is huge with a great view of the Jax beach park area. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the food and beer!

We came to Jekyll Island Brewing to have dinner for my birthday...I'd been wanting to check it out. The juice flight was delicious and I was excited to try the rest. The excitement ended there. We ordered the crab dip for an app and it was salty and flavorless. A few other things I ordered they didn't have so I ordered ended up getting the Bibb wedge salad and chowder. The chowder was probably the worst I've ever had. Completely flavorless. The wedge salad had rotting lettuce and tomatoes. I couldn't eat it. My daughter's French fries were also wilted and cold. Overall it was a big disappointment. 2 stars for cute atmosphere and good drinks. I'd come back for a drink, but eat dinner elsewhere.

Food was exquisite & the service was phenomenal. Our waiter Chris kept the drinks aflowing & the manager Tyler comped our friends food because they ran out of what she initially ordered. Phenomenal place good vibes!

Love this place! The food is soo good - the gator bites, oysters, and smashburger were delicious! They make all their own spirits, wine, and have over 20+ beers to try. The building is gorgeous! I love the big rooftop patio looking over the park and beach. Our service was wonderful too! So excited to have Jekyll Brewing in Jax Beach. Highly recommend! Will be back!

all I can say is yes yes yes! As a New York transplant to Florida… THIS IS THE FLORIDA VIBE I WANTED! Service awesome, food awesome! Please keep the frozen grapes on your charcuterie board! My husband and I felt so relaxed! The view is perfect! Our waitress Ashley was so kind and cool and laid back! The fresh juices are amazing for this mom to be my hubby loved the beer! Can’t wait to bring our friends back!

We went to the restaurant on Sunday! Went to upper level & sat at the bar. Bartenders were attentive, very helpful with questions, quick to ask about refills. There was a group of 15+ peeps making it loud. Still would be loud due to high ceiling (both upstairs & down) that’s ok with us. Service, Beer, Atmosphere, comfortable chairs, outside area is huge (tables w/chairs & chairs alone overlooking banister/Jax Town Ctr) was all amazing! Flounder instead of Cod made the lightly battered fish very yummy! To drink: Beer, their own label liquor & juices with their own brewed beers available for 6 pack purchase. As others have noted fries weren’t crispy - I’m sure they’ll work that out! TV’s we’re difficult to see when sitting at the bar as they are above the nice camper installed. So glad Jax Town Center is getting so many upgrades! We’ll be back soon.

This place is new so that's the only reason for the three stars. The wife and I sat at the bar on the lower level which was extremely loud, tons of employees scurrying everywhere. Sat there for a while before a manager asked if he could take our glasses, they weren't ours but from the previous guests. I guess that's why we weren't being waited on. So he was gracious and took our order. We split the fish and chips, the fish was outstanding, hot and crispy but still tender and flaky on the inside. The french fries were okay, probably had been sitting in a warming tray. It also came with coleslaw which couldn't have been more bland. We'll let them work out the kinks and try again.

Seemed like cool place, but I'm very confused about why the half pour for $4 was a sample size. The bartender only filled mine and my friend's cups up to the very bottom blue line on the plastic cup, which is far less than half. Probably closer 1/4. Kinda odd and made me feel like they charge for samples and disguising it as something else. The beers we had were okay and the view was nice though. We just would've paid for full beers if we had know we were actually paying for samples when ordering the half pour.
