Its a good place to work out many different machine to tone the muscle groups. They also have universal machines and a free weight area. There are step machines and tread mills you can watch many stations as you work out. They also have tanning beds and hydro massage beds and loungers. Staff is excellent.

Hello Friends, I am member of Planet Fitness since many years and I been going there in different states. But today I am posting this rep based on my experience and I am sure this applies to all Planets Fitness cross country. Now first and most the price is ver competitive in regard to other Fitness clubs. Lately I am have such a huge problem with Planet Fitness specifically this location, that when I go there don’t matter which time it is very busy and occupied some machines which they have one or two of them. Also l, when I go in the morning time they clean up their machines due to busy hours. I mean seriously, you guys open 24/7 and you have time to clean machines in busy hours? Their staff is not so friendly. I you get what you pay for. This Planet Fitness needs to change some strategy to provide more equipments, changes Tim for cleaning their machines or close down their business. Hope my review helps.

I've been a member of the Planet Fitness in St. Augustine since it opened its new location here and at the old location. I've seen many employees and staff come and go over the years. I want to compliment the current Manager - Russell, he is attentive to the gym, patrons, and equipment. I routinely see him involved hands on with the daily runnings of the gym. This is what makes or breaks a gym. Russell is making it and should be commended.

Not that I've had a chance to use it yet late night or early morning, but I like the fact that it is available 24/7. I'm 68 so I don't need all the extra hype that the typical gyms advertise as their big attractions to the typical gym goers. It has all the types of equipment for my needs to be healthy and strong. Plus, the treadmills of all types, for all types of training and healthy walking and running, are a big plus. Huge open design makes it feel less like everyone is checking you out and judging, hence, your 'Judgement Free Zone' slogan atmosphere, helping make you feel comfortable and able to have a more focused workout experience. Also, the fact that MOST of the people will have the courtesy to wipe down the equipment after their use. I guess some feel that they are privileged and special. Plus, the locker room amenities, and if a Black Card Member, all of those amenities and perks as well are a nice bonus feature so you can go to any Planet Fitness if you travel.

It's great if you're looking for purely a place that's weights and cardio equipment. If you want things like saunas, group classes, personal trainers, that type of stuff... Going to have to pay more than $15 mon, which is totally fair but disappointing!

Very nice location. Lots of parking. Very nice on the inside. I think it's a newer location than most other ones

Staff is a joke. Especially early am staff. This gym isn’t worth the $15/month no matter how far the next closest is. Aggressive old members coming at people for being on their phone between sets. This gym is not for people who want to workout in any type of serious setting whatsoever. What a joke

Pretty decent, typical PF—on the nicer side. My biggest complaint with this location in particular is that the last FOUR times (I have been 5 times) I have had no hot water in the men’s showers. I shower after every workout, and it is incredibly disappointing to be so far from home and needing a quick shower and being shocked with cold water. At first I thought I was just coming at the wrong times, using the wrong shower, etc. but I have changed all of the variables and still have had nothing but cold showers for the past 4 times / 6 months I have gone to this location. I’d give 5 stars to get some hot water, here.

Always a great experience here, very clean gym and friendly staff. Especially that scene girl with the cool hair (think her name is Nelly), always greets me coming in, says bye, and hands me massage chair tokens when requested

First of all, the Gym itself is low quality. Bad machines and no variety, but they have A MILLION treadmills. Actually one of the most judgemental places ive been too, literally have a big board with a flashing alarm light that says "if you wear a tank top and bring water to the gym we will make fun of you". On top of that the managers are those classic "im busy" managers who wont turn around to talk to a guest unless you want to buy something. Plus the company will just try and squeeze money out of you. When you sign up they make you pay a "prorated portion of LAST months payment" the last month that you werent even a member for, then theyll lie about what youre actually gonna pay, whatever they say youre gonna pay add on 5$ and thats what they mean. Overall its a bad vibe and a worse gym. Unless you like to feel unwelcome when you workout then this is your place.

I really enjoy working out at Planet Fitness. The locker room is clean, the specific muscle group machines are easy to use, and there are many cardiovascular machines with no waiting. There are a few things that could improve. The paper towel machines are often empty, and the stretching area needs to be larger. Overall, I feel very comfortable at Planet Fitness and am thankful that they do not play the house music loudly with booming bass like some fitness clubs I have belonged to in the past. It's a decent volume so that I can tune it out since I dislike modern techno dance music.

What good reason is there to not accept credit cards for auto pay ? Most legit business do this . Insurance etc etc they only reason is to grift more money out of consumers when you want to cancel . Why does a gym need your bank account info rt number etc . Are there to many cc claims against planet fitness for not stopping charging after memebers want to stop . What good reason is there for not taking cc for payments ?? None

If you want to get a 60 min workout done in 90 min or you love cardio machines and dirty slippery bathrooms, this is the place! For $10/mo…I know, expectations should be low. But very frustrating in the last 6 mos. I think population has increased, membership price too low, and for some reason gym is 70% cardio equipment that I HAVE NEVER SEEN to capacity in my last 100 visits…YET weight training machines are always full. They should add one of those ticket dispensers like they have at the deli at Publix. Tired of waiting for machines. Cardio fine…AVOID if you lift weights!!

I’ve been going to their establishment for going on 2 years now, and I couldn’t be more pleased with everything there. From the smiling faces behind the desk who greet me by name whenever I walk, in such as Nelly, to their equipment being maintained and cleaned each day. They have basically everything you need for any level of fitness.

Me and my uncle have been going to this planet fitness location for almost a week with no problems. Then today when we were checking in the assistant manager Conor was causing problems and not letting us in. My uncle is disabled and he was affected very negatively by this interaction and Conor has not only hurt his feelings but ruined his gym motivation. To prove my point even more me and my uncle entered the gym when Conor wasn’t at the desk but then when he saw us he made us leave. This is not ok, Conor has not only hurt my uncles feelings but he ruined his gym motivation and he no longer wants to go back to planet fitness. Actions need to be taken someone needs to have a serious talk with Conor so he can become a better worker or he needs to be fired.
