We took a little trip up to Jacksonville for the day and we got lunch from Hoptinger and here’s how it went: Pros: Everything about our visit was perfect! Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. The food was great too! The appetizers we got (calamari and pretzels) were just incredible. A huge selection of beer on draft too and just an awesome vibe throughout the dining in experience. Cons: No notable cons! Overall 5 out of 5. If you’re in the Five Points neighborhood, I’d recommend you stop here if you’re looking for good food and beer selections.

Such a great place. We enjoyed the rooftop bar while waiting on our table. The beer selections and flights in the main restaurant is quite exquisite. The appetizers and staff was also great. They were out of schnitzel, which is what I came for, and I will be returning.

Kind of strange…Great food, great prices, great decor. Our waitress was super helpful and friendly. Kept our water glasses full, our needs met, and even leveled the high top where we were seated. Yet… I must say the ladies room is in need of wallpaper repair and the stall walls definitely need painting. Too much graffiti with too many curse words for an otherwise classy cool place. No need for the wreck of a restroom. No need for customers to be confronted with rudeness. Wondering about the men’s room. Otherwise the place is very nice and could be a great venue even for a private event.

What is awesome with this place is that the bartender really don't need much explanation to understand what you like. Plus, they make their drinks (orange spicy margaritas in the photo) with good products (ghost tequila). The view is awesome, people who work there are friendly and nice to be around! Highly recommend!!!!! :)

We went to the upper level bar. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon. The 4 bartenders were a "little" overwhelmed but it did get a lot better. We waited 10 minutes for our first beer but after that they were spot on. We actually got served by all 4. Anytime 1 of them noticed it was beer me up. A great group of people up there and the view is great.

One of my fav things to get here is the roulette burger or wurst as it's always a surprise as to what you will get! But today I switched it up & got the fish sammie. I loved that it was made w/grilled cod vs fried, however, the bottom bun was very soggy & I couldn't eat it. So instead, I deconstructed the sammie & added the fish to my side salad! The fish was cooked to perfection; very flaky. The staff was great & service was good. Love that they have a nice selections of beer as well!

The wait staff were really lovely and sweet. The food was fantastic, as were the drinks. Service was incredibly prompt for how busy it was. My only complaint is that it was very loud, BUT we went during a busy time. We'll definitely be coming here again!

EVERYTHING was delicious! The smashburger 🍔 was our favorite, and the fries 🍟 were good and crispy. The service was quick, and everyone was friendly. Parking was limited in the immediate area. They have multiple levels; however, the door to the part downstairs isn't the same as the entrance to the rooftop bar. It's definitely worth a try. 👍

Great place, plenty of TVs. The food was excellent it could have come out hotter but it was a busy day. It was not cold but not hot. We loved everything we had and prices were very reasonable. My son just moved into the area and sure it will be a regular spot.

We had a great experience here a few weeks ago. We went one afternoon for appetizers and drinks after the beach and enjoyed it so much we went back the next evening for a smash burger, which was excellent! Drinks were different and great, appetizers were yummy and filling and smash burgers with fries were the BEST! We would definitely return when visiting the area again. We went in bathing suits and cover ups, and were still welcome!

Simply a scrumptious meal. If I’m honest, I’m not really a bar food type of person so I opted for the impossible burger I mean, how could you go wrong my friend had the steak frites‘s and enjoyed every bite. I also tried the Tres leche cake but honestly I couldn’t get with the texture and moisture of it to enjoy it. It’s me, not you lol.

This place is always good.. I enjoyed my burger annnnd my dessert although I couldn't finish it.. must try

Hubby and I had a wonderful date night! Can't beat $2 whiskey and wine! The food is absolutely delicious and a notch above your typical "bar food". You gotta try their Buffalo chicken flatbread and fire cracker shrimp! The DJ kept the atmosphere interactive and fun-loving! We just moved to the area and it's proven to be an upward success! We had the best waitress, Kayla! She was so inviting and tuned in. She gave us wonderful dining recommendations and treated us fair and with respect. We will definitely be back! Hoptinger as always did not disappoint, delicious food and great drinks all at a reasonable price. I had the roulette burger and the chef made me the perfect concoction. Love that a random burger is an option because it keep the visits fresh and interesting.

The drinks and bar snacks were good. Great place to go after work or for dinner if you want something different.

This was my 1st time here & let me just say my experience was really good! The waitress made sure we were doing well & everything was timely. My food was great, other than the bottom of my French toast was crispy, but overall I was pleased. I wasn't pleased with my Mango mimosa as it had more champagne versus flavor. I will be making another visit.

Rooftop happy hour! Comfortable vibe, beautiful views, Amazing bar staff, great personalities. Order wings and an adult capri sun OMG!! Get there early because it gets busy quickly.

This place is phenomenal! Perfect for an early afternoon hang. Lovely staff and happy hr. Would totally recommend it. Ohh and the rooftop bar is spectacular... just remember it's the door next to the restaurant. Don't walk all the way to the kitchen like I did 😅

This place is cool. Nice to hangout. Beautiful people. Service is professional and nice. Definitely would cone again. THE BEERS ARE PLENTIFUL. I've been looking for a place with beers other than the usual light suspects. This place has all the local beers you wouldn't find anywhere outside of Florida. Very happy about that.

Here with my family visiting for the week and we stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday. We had a great time! We tried burger roulette which is chef’s choice, the Philly Dog, and Dynamite Shrimp. We were pleasantly surprised. Shout out to Larry in the kitchen!

Very upbeat and friendly atmosphere. The food was great! It was very busy but our orders came quickly after placing them. We'll definitely be back soon!

My Rise & Shiner was delicious. The egg was perfectly fried with plenty of runniness to the yolk. It was so filling. The service was a bit slower than we liked but it was understandable due to the volume of customers in the restaurant. We had a fairly long wait on a Saturday night around 8:30pm for dine in. Server was kind and polite. She took very good care of us. The middle floor is a bit stuffy, but had great 90s-2000s music playing after a wedding let out. It gets warm in there with enough bodies. Top floor was more chill vibes with drinks and a really great and energetic bar staff. I went on a fairly good night for service or I got lucky, but I would highly recommend this for a night of variety and great food and drinks.

Started upstairs for drinks - ehh ok. Went downstairs to get food and ended up at the bar. Spenser was the BEST bar tender!!! My husband took me out for a kid free Mother's Day evening and it turned out better than I ever imagined thanks to Spenser’s amazing gin creations for me and bourbon creations for my husband!

Such a great place, and atmosphere when you enter. The draft board pulls you in to want to get a flight of the variety of beers. Great service for being busy. Had the brats in a blanket, a go to for sure. The beer cocktails, especially the Cats Tail was fantastic! 5/5
