As an expat myself, I was blown away at how amazing the food is here. I've found myself often missing British dishes while living in the state side, and I'm so glad I found this spot. Service was wonderful and staff were super friendly and welcoming. I'm definitely going to be coming back here on a regular basis.

This is definitely a hidden gem. We passed it and turned around to give it a try. Wow! We were very impressed! The food was phenomenal! It was fresh and hot. The desserts were cool and tasty! The service was spot on as well! If you are looking for authentic British food, you should go here. We will be back next time we come to the area.

A hidden Gem in Us 1 near st. Augustine The fish and chips are excellent! We ordered the curry sauce to dip the chips in and it sure gave the food a completely different taste. Haddock and cod was the fish and chips and the portions are huge, the batter is so fluffy and the chips are what we call the steak French fries (large and long) The service is awesome. Both waitresses were very polite and professional and checked in us regularly! The dessert part is to die for! Custard and blackberry pie with whipped cream! The beer was is cold and IPA is delicious! I definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back!

So, finally went to dinner here. Started with the Scotch Egg,Yum. I had Bangers and mashed potatoes, So good, cooked perfect and smothered with sauteed onions. My wife had the Seafood pie. She enjoyed the creamy gravy and pastry stick. Next time we'll try the Fish and Chips, it was massive.

Cozy pub atmosphere. Timing was great with fewer diners. Staff was so pleasant and attentive. Food was awesome. Great fish and chips and seafood stew. Need to go back and try more stuff! Place was filling up as we left. You can tell it's popular!

Cod and chips are delicious, feels like home (I’m from 🇬🇧) Love this little place wish it was open later. Staff are friendly and plenty of parking. Great Double decker bus and British phone box to take cool photos.

My wife and I have now eaten at Kings Head and it's been great every time. Kings Head is a true British Pub and Restaurant and not a cheap imitation. The inside of it is exactly like some of the many pubs that we visited during our two weeks in England a few years ago. We've mostly been served by Heidi who has been there 30 years and she's always terrific and she runs a pretty tight ship but last night we were served by Abby. Abby was sweet and attentive and we couldn't have been more pleased with her. The food is about as authentic as any English food that you are going to find in Florida. Our friend and I had the Bangers and Mash while my wife had the garlic shrimp. We started with their delicious sausage balls and we we're completely satisfied as usual. Kings Head has all the British favorites. Fish and chips, cottage pie the like a long with a couple of somewhat American fair like burgers and fish sandwiches. I think that the next time we go I will try the seafood pie. It's fish and shrimp in a cream sauce covered in Mashed potatoes and it looks really good. We really like Kings head every time that we go and I think that you will too if you give them a try. It's a great place for a family meal or a couple of pints with friends. Take Care and Happy Eating Chaps 😋 Rick W

I have lived here 10 years and passed Kings Head many times. A friend and I try new restaurants on Sundays a few times a month and this came up. It was alright. Food was good. Except the Sunday roast was tough. They don't serve full liquor only beer and wine. We wouldn't mind going again.

Best fish and chips I ever had. The sausage rolls appetizer was amazing. Definitely the best fish and chips in St. Augustine. I have tried the others. They don't compare to kings head.

Great afternoon stop. Fish and chips are wonderful. Service is top-notch. After a fine meal, my grandson and I engaged in a nice game of darts. After all, it is a pub. Darts provided by the bar keep. We had a blast. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Take a step back in time at a British pub. Very quaint and original. The building, double deck bus and phone booth were all shipped here from England. A fun night. Great food and a night of darts.

Great first visit to this authentic English pub. Well worth the experience. Offering draught beers not typically available elsewhere we enjoyed our time in this almost 30 year old staple. We will be back to experience the Sunday roast lunch.

We visited the Kings Head British Pub last night. It was our first visit. We enjoyed the cozy authentic decor of the restaurant. It was a chilly evening and the fireplace was very welcoming. We started with sausage rolls for an appetizer. The sausage very good, the pastry a little soggy. The haddock fish & chips was great. The star of the evening was one of the specials, chicken and mushroom pie. Very tasty in a delicious flaky pastry. The pickled onions were also spot on. We will return.

Scotch egg and chips $17+ frozen chips that had been left over and refried totally over cooked but yet only warm inside. What sort of establishment can't cook British chips !!!! Scotch egg blackish on outside and only it had already been cut I would not have been able to cut with the cutlery provide again warmish suggesting had been previously cook before. Chips were sent back and it took over 10 minutes to be brought to table without even an apology. Two things on the plate not even garnish. Cod and chips $23 same result batter was greasy and fish Luke warm but fish itself was decent. Again no garnish. Tub of mustard 50 cents lol. Pint $8+ glass of wine $11. Had 3 different people serve us . The initial person who brought the food knew it was substandard and totally ignored our attention . Would not advise any person to visit for a meal a total disgrace to trade under BRITISH ethos. Memorabilia decent but saw nothing of present Monarch the King. Was so looking forward to this visit resulting in a total let down . Would be ashamed to bring visitors from UK this pub.

I absolutely loved the Kings Head, an order of fish and chips may seem pricey, but when it's brought out to you, you understand why. Trinkets galore line the bar, roof, walls, and even tables all reminiscent of the beauty of England. The service was spectacular, the food was exactly what you'd hope for, and the atmosphere is relaxed and open. My one and only critique is that, in a pub, dedicated to Brittan, there was no match on! There was a T. V. It was unfortunately in a corner hidden, and turned off as well. Other than that, I loved the place, I highly recommend it!

Loved everything about this place. Small cottage like building with a warm, dark interior. Only a dozen seats with 2 waiters, so be patient. A few covered outdoor, pet friendly tables. Food deserved 6 stars!

The inside is typical British pub and feels authentic. The fish n chips, which should be a shinning star for a British pub was ok. Chips overcooked .. no mushy peas…service was good and everyone friendly. It was cold so no outdoor seating but I am sure it is nice inside and out weather permitting

Been 6 months since our last visit. Food is very good, menu changed slightly but still a good selection. Good selection of beer also. Bangers, Scotch Egg, Chips and Curry Sauce was our selection today. Definitely worth a trip there if you haven't already been.

We stopped here primarily for Scotch eggs, which I've had in innumerable places. This was the first I've had served with broon sauce (H&P) instead of some variation of remoulade. Brown sauce being the go-to in Scotland, I figured I'd give it a go. $17 for one Scotch egg quartered? Yikes! And I believe it was baked versus fried. We also tried their variation of bangers and mash, which was battered. I've never had a banger that didn't include fennel but perhaps Irish and British are different. At least, they didn't explode. I suppose they were good, just not what I've come to expect of a banger. I was also disappointed to find they didn't have Innis & Gunn as one of the beers stocked.

Atmosphere was completely unique, I guess that’s why you come here. You definitely do not come here for the food. Fish and chips for $23 should not come with what appear to be frozen French fries.. Like Orida crinkle cut. Fish portions were small and greasy. I could also comment on the fisherman’s Pie which was not a pie but a bisque. Fisherman’s bait and switch. This place is worth half what they charge… but alas the beer was good. Come to drink and skip the food. There is fun to be had with the dart boards and decor.

Atmosphere galore, fireplace going on this very cool evening. Service very good, great beer selection. Hamburger not the best, fish and chips Ok. Will go again for beer and maybe chips, not for dinner.

An easy five stars!! You drive up to this establishment of classic British style and aesthetic and you already know it's something really special. You walk through the doors and you immediately feel like you are in the English countryside. The working fireplace is warm and welcoming. The staff is kind and attentive. The food is very delicious, and the Guinness is the perfect pour! We are definitely coming back!! It is among the greatest pubs in the world!

I REALLY wanted to love it. The food was lacklustre. I had been looking forward to a proper sunday dinner that I didn’t have to cook but everything was so dry. The chicken was dry, the potatoes were dry, my husbands chips were dry. The veg had good flavour. The Yorkshire was good - nice and cakey, just how I like it. I understand this is preference but I enjoyed it. The heavy was minimal, I had to ask for more. The whole meal had the texture and taste of a reheated meal that had been sat out all day. And it was $60 for two of us. Two dinners and two waters. I was so disappointed. The atmosphere was on the cold and stark side.
